Love the generous portions, the staff was very attentive and helpful. I love their orange roll(spicy crab with salmon) and other stuff. I recommend the Teriyaki chicken or beef roll. Its very good.

Paid cash left the store after a short wait drove home 15 minutes and got a call they packed my order incorrectly at 8 pm on a Saturday night. Ate what was correct out of my order and had to drive all the way back to pick up my money. They took no responsibility in packing my order couldn’t even send someone 15 minutes to bring the proper items or my cash refund to me when I had already been at the store and spent $115 on a few rolls. The food is decent for a local sushi spot but the overall service and how they handle business is horrible.

Professional chef with such an exquisite display 👍😋 The baked green mussel roll was, by far, the best I’ve ever had, and the spicy tuna tempura was - spot on. Not in the Valley that often, but we always round our hikes out here with sushiraw deliciousness. Parking was good.

3 vegetarians descended on Sushi Raw for our first experience there which was just fine. We had the crispy dumplings which were tasty, the mushroom ramen soup which had a very nice mushroom savory flavor to it, and veggie rolls, which tasted okay, but which were a little loosely rolled and hard to pick up without them falling apart. (The veggie roll also had lettuce in it which didn’t seem necessary and probably affected the physical integrity of the roll.)I also had a glass of plum wine which was super sweet.The person who greeted us when we walked in wasn’t particularly friendly on the Friday evening that we showed up, though we were seated fairly quickly and the serving staff took good care of us.We also had edamame which tasted exactly as it should.This wasn’t our favorite sushi experience ever, but we had plenty to eat and it did the job in a fairly nice setting.

Customer service is never great but they do have pretty good rolls. It says they take their last call for orders 30 min to close but I guess not if they decide to start cleaning up early. I called to place an order 35 min to close and they said no it’s past last call. Sorry kitchen already started cleaning up. This place use to be my go to for sushi but I usually prefer to do pick up because the service is usually pretty bad. Not attentive to customers. Even for pick up I have gone and waited for a long time just for someone to come up to the front an d assist me. I’m not a complainer usually if I do a bad review its because the place has let me down too many times. It gets pretty annoying when you keep trying to look past things to salvage a night out and enjoy good food. The rolls are good which is why hey I gave them 2 stars but I can find a place just as good though not hard for sushi. Every time I order I spend around $60-120 for 1-2 pl more if it’s the whole family.

Pretty good! I would definitely come back. They have specials on Saturday which is pretty rare, but none on Sunday. The quality wasnt the best, but it wasnt expensive. The mussels were delicious, and the beer was cold.

I just ate at SUSHIRAW for the first time today. The food was acceptable, but the service was incredibly slow. I would also say that while the food *tasted* good, I dont think our sushi rolls were particularly well made. Two of the rolls seemed to have been cobbled together from spare pieces of maguro. Maybe it was just an off night. Looking forward to visiting again in hopes of updating this review with more stars.

If I could give it a zero I would. I have ordered numerous times via postmates. The couple of times I picked up my order, I noticed the lady in the front had a bitter attitude. However I always thought it was unintentional. I tried dining here alone, and I wanted a table to sit and enjoy my dinner comfortably, alone. She wanted me to sit on the bar at all cost. There was a table available, but instead she gave it to the family that came after me. I thought that was rude. No smile, no greet, she just stands there with a horrid attitude. I will never buy here again. She really has a bad attitude.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! My daughter and I went there because we had time before our movie and we were hungry! When we were greeted, they tried to put the family behind us first! We sat for a while before someone even took our drink order! No one ever came back to take our food order! We were there for over 20 minutes and kept getting passed by! At first I didnt worry because they were really busy. Then I looked over and saw the family that came in AFTER us chewing! So theyve ordered and are eating and we didnt even get to order! People were coming in and it started to get really full. I saw those people get served food! I was SO livid! I will NEVER come back! Absolutely horrible! I didnt want to think about the racial side of it however, we were the only black people there tonight. 😢

Feels like a Japanese restaurant and the lighting is top notch. Sushi is really good. Id recommend chicken or beef on top of California rolls. I also love the orange for salmon sashimi lovers. There are more choices, they offer great sake, beer and soju. Combination meals is also a great choice. Make sure to come before or after their break time.

This was our favorite sushi place. I took my grandson there on Mothers Day and they had a new menu with new prices, even my grandson thought it was too expensive. The B.S.C.R that used to be 9.99 is now 16.99! The edamame appetizer is still 6.99, but if you add a bit of garlic its $2 more!!The food is still good, but they are out of my price range now.

Quality fresh sushi! Great service all around. Waitresses are always friendly and courteous. Professional chefs always deliver delicious meals and beautiful food presentation. Friendly atmosphere and excellent table layout. Different sports on several TVs as well as good music playing at the perfect volume. This is the worst sushi place ever. The sushi is mediocre, but the service is horrendous. I spent nearly $200 on an order for my family. I had to wait for over an hour and half for the order and they forgot one of my rolls! I tried to dispute it through postmates, but that was useless. I tried to call them and was placed on hold and forgotten about. Im left without a resolution, therefore here I am, leaving a negative review. I did not enjoy my food because of the entire ordeal. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Service is quick and friendly. Fish is fresh and portions are good. Parking is plenty. Prices are a bit steep though. I would go back in the future, but its not my go to sushi spot. Also, they give you a free green tea ice cream if you make a sushi review.

Service was great! I recommend the dinner combos, as it gives you a great variety of food for a good deal. I had the 4 piece sashimi with spicy chicken and they were both delicious! The chicken was amazingly crispy with a nice heat, the sashimi was fresh and flavorful. My daughter just gobbled up her California roll, while my wife said that their tempura was some of the best shes ever had. Were definitely adding this to our list of great sushi restaurants in the area!

Very nice intimate spot to have some sushi. The sushi is really good and is well portioned. The only thing keeping this from a 5 star review was the more than average time to get service. Its not so bad, but it is noticeable that they take their time to get back to you with things. Still would recommend this spot though!

Very Disappointed!! This is the 2nd time we have ordered from here and the rolls were made so bad!! They weren’t even filled properly and were so thin they would Disintegrate when you tried to eat them! You couldn’t even use the chop sticks without making a huge mess!! Tried to pick them up with my hands and it made an even bigger mess!! I lost more than half my roll on my plate! I usually never complain but this is ridiculous I’m not paying $30 for 2 rolls for this mess!! We will be finding a new sushi place!!

Their service is bad. They got my order wrong and wouldnt fix it because it was after last call. I had the option if not being charged if they took the food back but I was hungry. Took my mother for Mothers day. The place was half full but had to wait because we didnt have reservation for 6 people. Once seated, we we told their was a minimum tip of 18% due to the size of our party (6 people). The menu was confusing. I ordered an appetizer and asked that it be brought with the main course. The answer was maybe. Then my main course came first. The rest of my partys meals came staggered. By the time everybody got their food, my Cali rolls were warm and teriyaki cold and once my side of tempura arrived, it was greasy and soggy. I also had salad; the greens were not fresh. Pieces were browning and soggy. Skip to the check. Remember that obligatory18% tip because we were a large party? It was calculated after the tax was added to bill. I ask them to recalculate using the pre-tax amount, which was $20 less. FYI, if you must eat here, do so Monday-Saturday 11am-3pm. Theres a big difference in price for dinner and all day Sunday, but same food. As for me, Ill keep searching for an authentic Japanese restaurant, not one run by Koreans.

Not really impressed at all. Glad we didn’t come here starving because not only was the service less than on par, but also, no one really had a care in the world about the lack of service. We ordered the kids meals right away that came out with the waters, we had a roll as well, however no service to follow. I waived down a waitress to ask for a kids lemonade ... and also 10 minutes later again to remind them for the lemonade and order a bottle of Saki. So, then, a few minutes later, another waitress walked by and asked if we had ordered our saki, and what kind. We let here know the Nigori, and that it was still not here. Another 5 minutes passed and we realized they might be trying to source the lemonade and saki, because it must be al out. Really, all of this wouldn’t matter at all, if it was followed with customer service and genuine desire to make us feel like we mattered as customers. Thankfully they aren’t the only sushi joint in town. Also, asked to speak to a manager to relay our experience and maybe support them in making it a better experience next time, however the owner had no problem avoiding us, and lying straight to us that there was no manger there.

This was our local sushi place for many years. Over the last year weve seen many changes: portions smaller, prices (way) higher. And in the last few months constant errors in our take-out orders. Last night they made another mistake and when I called to mention it I was yelled at and told that was what I ordered (the dish we got is something nobody in our family has ever ordered or likes). Ive had it with their rudeness and lack of care for their customers. Never again.

I have it one start because my to go order was error free. I ordered:Green dragon till: the avocado was mushy, and the pieces were small.Red dragon roll: pieces to small, but good.Baked scallop roll: the scallops have mushrooms and tomatoes and the sauce too watery.Chicken teriyaki bowl: had potatoes salad which doesnt tie with the rest of the plate, chicken was dry and tough.I paid $60 for my whole meal. Im sad to say I will never eat there again!

The worst place I have ever been. Horrible service, and food was ok at best. I had three children with me, hands full with popcorn, jackets and knick-knacks after movies. The server didnt offer to help. We were given a table in the back, right next to the service/kitchen area and the restroom hall. The server missed one of the items we ordered, then argued with me it was my fault and I had not ordered that item. He never checked on us to see if we needed anything. He forgot to bring our drinks (water and juice), and I had to ask twice before hed get them, and thats with only two other tables busy in the whole house. I would let it all slide, if it werent for the attitude. My 4-year-old daughter and her friend got into the hallway behind our table, and she accidentally broke a ceramic mug that was on some wall stand there (??.) I know, I know, 4-year-olds are supposed to sit glued to their chairs and not move, ever... We apologized several times, and my daughter got upset with what she had done, but it wasnt enough. The hostess told her to go sit on your chair rather rudely, and my daughter started crying. It was supposed to be a fun day for her. Instead, she was in tears for good ten minutes.If you want attitude, rudeness, and sour faces, Sushi Raw is just the place to go.

Best Baked rolled around the Valley! is my favorite place to go when i feel like sushi, me and my girl are pretty much regulars by now, we can eat and then go watch a movie as there is a movie theater right next to it, staff is corteous and attentive, if you like baked rolls, and like Philadelphia cheese, try the Baked salmon, is amazing!, also try the Baked Lobster BOMB, one recommendation is not to overload the rolls with spicy or eel sauce, try one first without any sauces so you can taste the intended flavor, each roll is unique in its own way

Sushi Raw is awesome. I was there a few weeks ago, and there was some woman with three badly-behaved brats there. They had brought in outside food, which is incredibly rude, and yet felt the need to complain when her special snowflakes ran around and even ended up breaking what looked to be an expensive decorative cup! Kudos to that poor waiter and hostess who handled the situation and didnt let someone elses spoiled child get in the way of running a smooth operation.If you want to eat at a place with children running around and not behaving properly, go to McDonalds. If you want to dine at an adult establishment that expects its visitors to act civilized, go to Sushi Raw.

Sushi raw has been my spot since it opened! But for the last 2 yrs i have been seeing the food quality go down... it was so hard to say no more but at last i had to.... the tuna was too funky, it tasted like it was refrigerated for a long time and the texture was old my friend even returned her food! I am sad to say my rainbow roll was pretty bad... u can taste fresh fish and this was not it. So now im stuck looking for a new sushi spot

I stop by sushi and have to you I was super impressed soon as I came in the whole restaurant scream something in Japanese not sure what it was but it made me feel good. I ordered Sashimi spicy albacore followed by some Toro That means bluefin tuna in Japanese. No i only got 2 Pieces a little pricey but I have to say it was worth it it almost melted in my mouth. I finished off with Lobster roll and some good sake. I have to say I’ve had a lot of sushi in my lifetime this has to be one of the best.

I had the 2 item bento box with chefs choice sashimi and salmon teriyaki. Although the salmon was not very good, the sashimi was fresh, delicate, and frankly fabulous. Ultimately they took away the salmon teriyaki and replaced it with more of the sashimi, so I ended up being very satisfied. All in all Id definitely go back.
