My family and I love Sushirrito, and the creativity they bring in fusing amazing flavors together with sushi rolls the size of burritos 🌯! We recently dined at their newest location in Redwood City. The restaurant is clean, modern, and I loved the decor, esp the fish lanterns hanging from the ceilings. I got the Satori roll, and it’s the best - fish is fresh and it had the right amount of crunch and sauce to balance the tender hamachi. The matchagave latte was very refreshing, and had flavors mixed together that I’d never tasted before. Sumo crunch roll was perfect for the kids, esp. the red tempura flakes!

So tasty and original! Definitely a great healthy but yummy option. The portion is quite big, so it’s ideal for sharing if you’re not that hungry. I’ve tried Geisha’s kiss and it’s delicious. I went there on a Saturday evening, so I didn’t have to wait a huge line or anything, but the place is quite small so it will be probably busy most of the time.

My husband and I had a bad experience at this location. We asked if the restaurant was still open and the cashier responded “unfortunately yes”. Then he started to talk to his coworker in Spanish that he hates when customers come in near closing time (mind you it was 7:30pm, they close at 8pm). He didn’t know we knew Spanish so my husband responded back to him. He was complaining about making more rice and also didn’t want us to grab sauces.

Loved the fusion.Great taste, freshness, and quality. Went around 3:30 pm and there was no line.It is a bit big so I would recommend splitting it with someone or going when you’re really hungry!

Supplies are limited and lines are long. This novelty takeout spot puts a new twist on sushi. If you don’t like sushi, there Isn’t much for you here. We got two rolls, one with a Latin flair containing plan teens and another one with spicy tuna. They were pretty good. But the real star of the show was the lava fries which were essentially nachos with spicy tuna on top. These are in limited supply but they definitely stole the show.

I know they were struggling but I dont think this is how you fix it. The chicken karaga is about a third the size it used to be, maybe smaller than a six piece chicken McNugget and less tasty. For 12 bucks with tip it felt way too small. Inside is clean but lonely, staff, outside unfriendly. Value and experience just arent there anymore.

This is a cute new restaurant! The staff are super friendly which I really appreciated. Their rolls are a good size and inventive with nice textures and flavors. The food was good but not amazing. A few things would help the experience, I think. One is better allergy labeling. The next is clearer spiciness levels (my burrito was a lot spicier than I expected). The last is making the ordering flow clearer - it was hard to figure out where to go along the order bar to place the order and some arrows on the floor or a “start here” sign would really help.As a health junkie I also think it would be great to have brown rice as an option instead of the standard sushi rice (though maybe that wouldn’t be sticky enough to hold the rolls together). It also felt a little bit expensive - it was about $20 for one person without a drink, which for fast casual is a lot more than some of the other options in the area (Five Guys, Pizza My Heart, Chipotle).

Decent food, if a bit overpriced, and it doesnt travel well so eat there if youre going to order.Terrible order fulfillment and customer service. Pickup order wasnt ready on time, but they texted to say it was, I guess so they could report they were hitting their target? Kept being told 5 minutes, after 25 minutes I was told we called you 10 minutes ago, you must not have heard even when I was sitting in front of them watching them prep my order. I get that theyre busy and seem understaffed, but lying about orders?

Delicious sushi burritos! This place lives up to its hype and does Asian-fusion right!I got the Geishas Kiss and thought it was flavorful and delicious! The tuna was marinated and the texture was good and there was a good amount dispersed throughout the roll. I especially liked the crunch of the lotus chips and the refreshing cucumber and avocado. Everything was balanced and by the end of my burrito I was very satisfied!

Great quality ingredients, but its small and has no real ambiance. Tables are small with no seating. The line for lunch is out the door usually, and the wait can be quite long. 5 to 10 minutes just to order, then a couple more to pay and get your burrito-sized fusion sushi roll. Would recommend, and return only during non peak hours.

Yes, the line was long but no, it didnt take hours. When I got there at 1pm, it was approximately a 30 minute wait (they really pump people through).In my opinion, the food was well worth the wait. They have great portion sizes - not too big and not too small - and quality ingredients for the money. Most importantly, this isnt just a gimmick - the burrito turned sushi actually tastes great.

I love it. Customers are nice. The line goes fast. Its big but doesnt feel like it, its never a heavy meal. I tried the Caballero and The Geishas Kiss. If you like a bit spicy and interesting combination go for Caballero. You like soy-salty? Geishas kiss will be your favourite.

This was our first place to eat while in SF. Wow I am glad we gave this place a try, this was some of the freshest sushi I have had, better than some sit down sushi bars. The menu is very creative and the portions were gigantic equal to about three rolls at most restaurants. We are just bummed that we do not have this restaurant in Phoenix. We will definitely be eating here again when we come back to visit SF.

Portion per price is great! You get a burrito size sushi roll for the cost of a specialty sushi roll. Not bad in SF. The ingredients taste fresh and the flavors are diverse enough where you dont think youre eating the same roll even though you ordered something different. The line gets long quickly at this particular one, so go at 11:30 if you dont want to wait online for more than 20 minutes.

I got the sumo crunch and I was not too impressed. Its a great concept but I felt it was not fresh. The shrimp tempura was sitting there after being cooked. I wish I got the salmon instead. I would not order the same thing again. The portions were big though which was nice for 10$.

I was in town with my husband on a business trip. I heard about this place and had to check it out. The Yelp reviews made it seem like there would be a line, so I went early at 10:30 (it opens at 11AM). I was firstIn line and super excited to try their signature Geishas Kiss. I ordered half the rice than normal so it wouldnt overpower the fish and other tastes. It was everything I expected and MORE. I look forward to going again!!!

This location serves the same menu as its Financial District location. It is also about as popular, which means that you may need to wait 15-20 minutes in line for lunch. Still its a great spot to grab a meal. Sushi lovers and burrito lovers alike will find something they love in these sushirritos that are both yet neither. Though theyre all delicious, I recommend the one with the crispy pork belly. Be aware that it may be an additional 5-10 minutes, as they crisp it to order. Theres no room for seating, but the Starbucks across the street works just fine.

I love the concept behind this place- to me it is so quintessentially San Francisco! Of course we love sushi, and we love burritos...so why not make a Sushirrito?? Food quality is pretty good too, and I always finish satisfied. Only complaint is the hours- they are only open for a narrow lunch window on weekdays, and if youre not lucky enough to work in a fancy downtown high-rise, good luck finding time to get down there while its open!

Okay place for a novel concept. Lines are typically quite long at lunch, and ingredient quality isnt the best. Good to try once, but after a couple bites it just feels like youre eating a giant bowl of rice. If you want real sushi look elsewhere, there seems like a giant techie lunch trap, like so many other downtown lunch places.

Sushirrito is a popular new lunch spot with sushi-based burritos (seaweed wrapped around seafood and rice). Most rolls arent truly sushi - theyre vegetarian or have meat not fish, or have cooked fish - but still heavily Asian vegetables and sauces wrapped in seaweed and rice. I have had the Geishas Kiss, one of the more sushi-like rolls, and it was quite good. These are also relatively low calorie - about 600 a pop. The only thing to watch out for is the fries or nachos - they are delicious and spicy and Im going to guess not quite so healthy :).

Why didnt I come up with the idea of sushi burrito? Brilliant! There’s always a long line during lunch, so come early (around 11:30 or so). Tried Sumo Crunch and Geisha’s kiss, loved both! The sushi’s wrapped in a form of a burrito and cut in half, making it easy to eat on the go. Great flavors, fresh fish, best if go with a buddy so can share ½ and ½! Even though I have been in SF for almost a year now, I just got a chance to beat no line to get into Sushirrito and it was after a hard-earned workout session next door at Crunch.I got the Geishas Kiss Roll because it is supposed to be a little spicy and crunchy. I didnt have to wait for long and got my lunch quite quickly. The roll itself looks huge and long but since it is made of seaweed, sushi rice and sashimi, it is absolutely not as filling as a real burrito. For me, that is a good thing although it isnt cheap if you consider the same size of burrito will be a few bucks cheaper.Regardless, I was really impressed with the concept of maki roll in the size of burrito and the flavor! It also makes eating maki roll less complicated without chopsticks and dipping and dripping soy sauce everywhere. Overall, it is a great lunch option and I would come when there is no line!

Sushirrito did what so many of us thought of, but were too lazy or inept to do....create a sushi roll the size of a burrito and sell it in San Francisco. If you arrive here during the lunch rush, there will be a sizable line. However the line typically moves quickly as they crank these rolls out. They have a number of different options, Geishas Kiss being my favorite, stuffed with Yellow Tail and avocado. The end product is the size of a moderate burrito but with all the amazing taste of fresh sushi. Prices are reasonable, more than a burrito but less than your typical sushi lunch. There isnt any seating so you have to take it to go. Absolutely worth a try if you love sushi, or burritos and have dreamed of their fusion for years.

Great place for a light, yet filling lunch. After 1PM it wasnt very busy allowing me to get in and out in around ten minutes. Very friendly staff and good service. Along the walls are standing tables that fold out if you want to eat on location. At first I was disappointed with the amount of added on spicy tuna, but soon realized its location. Need a quick sushi fix.... you found it. This place is great for light but filling meal. I love how the entire roll is just like a burrito. It makes it simple to eat and requires no set-up or clean up. But this is not real sushi, so dont expect to get an amazing roll with high quality fish. Additionally, the line can get way out of hand. If you go anywhere from 11:45- 1:15 you are looking at at least a 15 minute line, upwards to 35 minutes. I love sushi, so if the timing is right and am feigning a burrito, I will snag a sushiritto. It is also one of the few places to get edible sushi without sitting down.

Sushi? In a burrito? Need I say more? Sushirrito is a great concept - they offer different types of fish (both raw or cooked) in a rice wrapped burrito. The line really builds up during lunch time but moves quickly and is well worth the wait. Keep in mind, this location is only open very select hours during the week so you cant just stop here whenever youre in the mood. Regardless, Sushirrito has a variety of options for sushi lovers and vegetarians alike and offers great portion sizes that will fill you up!

It is pretty good and a wonderful concept but not sure if it lives up to the hype. The product is pretty inconsistent and sometimes you end up with a roll full of poke (yes!) and other times with poke few and far in between (sad). I will say it is definitely worth it to pick up some of their hot sauce to dip with... super flavorful with the perfect amount of heat.

They have the rice to filling to sauce ratio down, you wont feel like youve been ripped off and just paid for rice. Variety of different rolls, something for everyone. Im not sure what to make of this place. I had a bad experience where my boss yesterday told me he would never eat there again, and this was while my Geishas Kiss Sushirrito was falling apart in my hands.The fish tastes fresh but at the end of the day, it really isnt that much food. I always get growling noises later in the day despite getting it with pop chips.But this marriage of burrito and sushi, or sushi on steroids is really tasty. The only complaint I have is that it does fall apart if you dont eat it right away.

I have to say, I wasnt too impressed. Perhaps its because I had very high expectations for this place, but I thought the food was too strong in taste. It might be the single item I got, which was the Satori, but there was too much sauce which overpowered the rest of the food. Sashimi typically should not be eaten with more than just a bit of soy sauce if anything, and adding too many items becomes overbearing. I like the idea, and I like the diverse options, but it definitely feels like it tries too hard.---I would still leave 3 stars, but this is an edit review for the Geisha’s Kiss. I was much more impressed by this one. Its definitely recommend both by myself, and by other reviewers. The flavors are a fantastic blend together, between the tuna and crunchy lotus chips, the Geishas Kiss is certainly a treat.

My go-to Sushirrito is the Salmon Samba and Geishas Kiss. I decided with the Salmon Samba. I guess they changed the Samba. I couldnt taste much of the wasabi sauce. The sauce was pretty different from what I remembered. Pumpkin seeds were also added into the sushi burrito. With the little changes, Im not crazy about Sushirrito as I was once before. it is still great for first timers and to satisfy a quick craving of sushi!

Im not a big fan of Sushirtto, because its literally a large, horribly rolled sushi that isnt cut up. However, I decided to try it out with my coworkers so I at least can say Ive tried it, didnt like it, and end it like that.And its true. I didnt like it. I had the Geishas Kiss, and I really didnt feel well after eating it.I was pretty upset.However, I went again, and decided to try the Lava Nachos -- and this was pretty good. The food is good and consistent. There is one line to order and one to pay so be sure you know which line to go in. If you want to order a large order ahead of time be sure you call before 11 as their lunch rush is pretty heavy. The long lines tend to move fairly quickly, like Chipotle lines.

I am a sushi fan. My only complaint with sushi is the fact that some sushi places give you too much rice, and that was what I was afraid of when getting a Sushirrito. Much to my surprise, there is the perfect amount of filling and not too much rice at all. The fish looked fresh, and the other fillers complemented the fish and sushi wrap perfectly.Geishas Kiss: 5/5 - I asked the employee what the her favorite item on the menu was and she stated the Geishas Kiss. So, I decided on it, and I am so glad I listened to her. This place isnt close to work, so whenever I need to head over to the City from Oakland, Ill stop by and grab lunch on the way in. Who wouldnt love a burrito size sushi that you can pick up with your hands and munch on? I always get the Sumo Crunch with the Shrimp Tempura. Its so good. Last time I grabbed the Chicken Piñata, which was also very good.Couple of thinks you need to know, theres always a line, why you ask? its because the counter in which they roll your Sushritto will only fit 2 - 3 people and they make food when ordered. There are also no chairs, but a few counters along the wall where you can stand and eat. I always take mine togo and I think they dont have bags, but I could be wrong, so it can make transporting several order by one person a bit difficult.

Ordered 6 sushirrito and they gave us 3 wrong orders! How can you mess up and give 3 wrong orders. Our receipts list all the correct order so they heard correctly. Wish they would check before putting it in our bag. Both the sushirrito containing the raw fish is missing and those are the ones that cost extra. Their phone line only allows you to leave voice mail. So not only did they give us 3 wrong order out of 6. They also replaced our expensive ones with the cheaps ones.
