We arrived with a party of 6 without reservations on a Saturday night and got right in…..I would recommend requesting Brandy as your server and she provides great service with grace and honesty! We had a delicious dinner and when we left, one of our teenagers left behind their purse. We did not notice until the next morning. After contacting them they were so gracious and let us know the purse was I their lost and found. This is a must go …… you don’t always find awesome food, great service and honesty all in the same spot! Highly recommend!

The food here was just amazing! Especially the one with prawns on top. Would definitely recommend. Its probably best to sit outside though as the inside isnt as clean.

We arrived without reservation with a group of 7 people and got seated in less than 7 mins, even though the restaurant was packed. We got lucky!Our servers and other staff are friendly and provide excellent service! The food took around 20 mins to be served, and when it came out, it kept coming, and the food was good but not excellent, not WOW. We enjoyed it 4/5.They have indoor seating and sushi bars or tremendous outdoor dining! The music was a bit loud if you sat in front of the restaurant door. Everybody looked happy and chilled, dine here and enjoy the beautiful weather with lovely views of West Hollywood!Some people walked on without rsvp and waited over 15 mins to be seated, so I highly recommended booking a table if possible.There is plenty of parking in the back of the restaurant.

I cant say enough about how good the food was, we sat at the bar and I think the wait staff forgot about us, although we didnt wait very long but the manager came over and apologized and offered us desert on the house, we left before we got desert so we could get to our show but the sushimi was fire. And the appetizer was so Delicious, lobster, crab and cheese sticks. I highly recommend

I came here for lunch one day so it wasnt busy. I liked the atmosphere. Lots of outdoor seating for enjoying the weather and people watching. Our waitress was great. She recommended the Miso Cod which was so soft it melted in your mouth. The Miso Soup was also good and the shrimp tempura roll was decent. Will be coming back here.

Comments: Our service was amazing! Brandy went above and beyond to make sure everyone in our party understood the rolls and made suggestions (which were delicious)! We had a great evening celebrating my daughters 21st bday. After leaving we realized one of our party members left behind her purse....we were so scared it was gone! When we realized we quickly reached out to the restaurant and we were so happy to hear it was there. When picking it up we were so grateful for a wonderful business that not only provides wonderful service, delivers great food but has honest staff!

Great sushi, easily manageable bite sizes. Highly recommend, I had the rainbow and dragon rolls and some shu mai. The California roll is imitation crab stick, NOT crab salad (which is great because I do not like Mayo in my sushi! )

This was recommended by a local and we are so glad we listened!! Hands down the best sushi Ive ever had! I mean the fish melts in your mouth! And the rice...its not dry and rolled tight. Its fluffy and moist! Hard to explain it, but omg delish! Sashimi was excellent with gold flakes and caviar on top!David was our chef and he was fun and amazing and just may join you in saki shots! Brandy was our waitress and she was also great, fun and personable! The decor has a rock n roll vibe and theres lots of covered seating out front....perfect for people watching on the strip! We will stop here every time we come to town! Its a must! Thank you guys!

In a nice area on sunset Blvd. We had the house cold sake, which was delicious—followed up by king salmon, toro, and sea urchin sushi.The king salmon and toro were great: luscious and unctuous. The sea urchin was warm and not fresh. A bad way to finish the meal.Will try again and get some rolls to see if they’re any good as the service was very friendly—although the hostess stand was piled high with dirty dishes. Not a great thing to see when entering a restaurant.

Sushi was “good-average” 6 out of 10 ish.Cocktails were NOT good. Ended up switching to a bottled beer. Service needs upgrades but friendly enough. Would I go back? Doubtful but again not the worst thing if you are looking for traditional sushi with a lovely outdoor patio.

Sushi was good, the rest of the kitchen food was not great (cauliflower wings were awful with a terrible sauce, and the dynamite shrimps were very average as you could taste more the deep fried than the sauce).Service was alright. The good thing was the free parking around the back.

Had an extremely disappointing experience here, really substandard food, really inexperienced server. Well below what you expect for the price.My wife and I ordered a drink each plus a Spicy Rock Shrimp Roll, which was relatively small and only 5 pieces despite being $16.50, and it was absolutely smothered in spicy mayo. It looked as if mayo was accidentally spilled on the roll but they sent it out anyways. We also ordered a Salmon Skin Roll that was poorly rolled and tasted very fishy compared to similar rolls weve had at other establishments. The server was inattentive and didnt check in to see how things were going.The food was poor so we decided not to order anything else and just get the bill. When we got the bill, they had charged us for an extra drink we didnt order and the server had trouble fixing the bill, coming back and forth several times before it was resolved.Maybe we caught them on a bad day, but I would avoid this place.

The people are nice but the service was not good and the food was less than okay. Even the sake was kinda boring. The host was the best part. Inside was kind of dirty, sushi was not well cut and the rice was loose. Sushi was served and had to ask for chop sticks, then soy sauce, then a soy sauce tray. 🤷🏽

The environment is nice. The outdoor seating is right on the street so you get to enjoy nice street views and good weather . The sushi is also very very good. Everything tasted very fresh. The rolls are smaller than expected but the flavors are phenomenal. This could be a great touristy experience.

I love this place! Yellowtail Jalapeno Sashimi is the absolute best. Crispy Tuna with Rice is beyond (and you can order it with Brown rice!) And the Creamy Tempura Rock shrimp.. omg! The owners are great and the staff is wonderful. Highest recommendation!!

I recently went to LA with my family for 3 days, we went to sushiya the first night we were there and loved it so much that we ended up going every night the rest of our trip there! I would definitely suggest it if you love great service and even better sushi. The bin bin and sexy min rolls are to die for! No 1 on 1 service. You ask the sushi guy a question they get angry. They dont even take your shots when you offer. Very rude and disrespectful. The location is good but more celebrities go to nobu and Craigs anyways. The servers are cute. And they have free parking in the back. If you want real omakase go to sushi one in koreatown my prodigies opened a few years ago and its amazing. Noshi. Arado. And Awon sushi are great as well.

Be Warned Bland Sushi!!!My girlfriend and I eat sushi quite often found ourselves in Hollywood and needing a place to eat, stopped in and you be the judge. As for the food the rolls were small, poorly made and not very good. Our first roll Yahoo roll only 5 pieces cut in different sizes? Did he not see we were 2 people? The rolls should have a minimum of 6 pieces! The Spicy Tuna roll was fat on one end and super thin on the other and really small. The beers (large) and hot sake (large) were 9.50 each seem high for a beer. I would not recommend this place and will not return.Oh ya and for date atmosphere they had the UFC fight on while we were eating not really appropriate for dinner.Dine at your own risk yet I am sure you can find better elsewhere.

Maybe its because Im from Vegas and Im used to a flare and presentation.The atmosphere and decor of the place was very zen and comfortable. However, that was not the reason I came.I came for sushi. Number one, they are WAY too overpriced! Its not that 10 to 17 bucks is a problem for a signature sushi roll... it becomes a problem when what youre paying for is half of what you expect.The waitress brought out 5 pieces of sushi with no sort of garnishment, pizzazz, or presentation. It was seriously 1, 2, 3, 4, FIVE pieces if sushi on a small plate. No drizzle of sauce. No nothing. I asked if it was considered a full or half roll... and sure enough... it was a full roll! Lol Soooo pitiful. :-(Like I said, maybe its my Vegas expectations, but I thought a full roll was considered 10 to 12 pieces. My significant other had Pad Thai... it was normal. So, I guess thats ok.Nice hip place, but a terrible Sushi Bar. IJS
