Had a really busy day at work and thought Id reward myself by ordering delivery thru doordash. This place has high rating so I decided to give them a try. Placed the lunch special pad see ew with beef that comes with soup and I wait. Food arrived as scheduled and the smell coming out of the packaging was intoxicating. Upon removing the bag, I noticed the sauce had leaked into the bag and to my surprise and disappointment the tray was only half filled and I immediately thought what a waste of material. Perhaps they ran out of their regular packaging. It was delicious though, can definitely taste the wok-hei or breath of wok which is just indescribable. I practically swallowed the whole thing in less than 10mins, tomyum soup was nice and they included chicken in it. Impressed with this pad see ew, perhaps the best Ive eaten in Oxnard/Ventura area, the one star docked is for portion. Definitely going back to try other itemsOrdered delivery again next day, tried the pad kee mow for lunch and it was delicious. Convinced my husband to try - we got pad Thai and rad na for dinner. Both were good. This time we opted for pickup and surprised that the establishment only had Thai Cuisine as signage

I got the chicken tom yum soup, cant go wrong with a little spicy and sour soup. The soup over all was good but idk about the chicken maybe if it was shredded chicken, first time but will try again maybe next some shrimp or fish 🐟 🤔

Im still at the dinner table ENJOYING this delicious bowl of Pineapple Curry. The flavors are incredible together. The blend of vegetables, fruits,and meat with the coconut milk paste is AMAZING!!!!! Its been a long time since Ive had great curry like this, and Im glad that I can call this spot home for my Thai needs. Did I forget to mention that my curry has GRAPES in it? What a surprisingly added fruit to the curry overall palate. This place gives you your moneys worth, and you shall enjoy it every time you come. If you dont like this food, then your taste buds must be dead.

After various trips to Thailand, this place has the authentic flavors I grew to love. It doesnt fail to remind me of all the great adventures I had. Try the White Fish Cha Cha, Spicy Catfish or the Teo Chew Noddle Soup. You wont be disappointed.

Great spot! I had the green curry with chicken and an extra side of sticky rice, and all of it was amazing. Good portions, so Ill be having a second meal out of it. If this location was closer to me I think Id become a regular.

Fresh, spicy, delicious Thai food in generous portions for excellent prices. Suvarnaphumi has ample seating, including a cozy little outdoor area with some nice plant life and open sky. Their staff was helpful and excitedly welcomed us back next time.

Wanting to try another Thai restaurant in Oxnard, I found a few choices on Yelp and decided on this one. The delicious looking picture of their Mango Sticky Rice sold me at first sight. Once inside the decor and the staff set the mood for a lovely meal.The staff was amazing; above and beyond most places Ive been. I even got the inside scoop from the owner as to where to get my own Thai ingredients for my endeavors.The decor is very inviting. The outdoor seating is very nice as well, but I get cold too easily so I chose inside.They even had one of the original Star Wars movies on. Great choices all around. I will definitely be back again!

Over priced not the same cook or owners this place sucks now. Very upset paid 299.67 this included 18 percent gratuity. We never got any refills without having to ask, our food took over an hour to come out to the table. All staff was new nobody from before COVID-19. After waiting for what seemed forever I finally got my tom yum noodle soup it was sweet! No lemon grass not hot or sour no flavor at all total disgrace I wouldnt recommend. I take my one star back.

This restaurant located near to a mobile store, is absolutely a fabulous place. They serve fresh, delicious and authentic Thai food. The chicken satay side dish coupled with home made sauce is a biggest hit. This place trendy and classy. The service is quick and fast. The staff is courteous. Please keep in mind if the waitress ask you from the scale of one to ten for spiciness stick between five to six.

Took a big party of friends here last Saturday. The service was very friendly and timely. They even offered the split the check 4 ways. Everyone loved there food. If you request spicy they will not hold back which I love. I recommend the Angel Wings and Tom Kha Seafood Soup Spicy.

Very good! This is a nice clean place with a bar in the main dining room. Theyre a bit bigger than they look from outside. The staff was on top of everything the day we went. We came in from lunch which I believe it said lasts until 3p. They have a lot of lunch specials that are $10 with their most popular choices, drinks though are excluded. We got the spicy basil and spicy garlic then swapped halves so we could sample both. They were good but honestly we didnt detect a lot of difference. On the other hand, we were starved so thats probably a lot of it. I was a little disappointed to find that more than half the plate was not the entree. It came with rice and noodles. That waters down the dish and so for that reason it wasnt as impressive as it could have been. I got the salad and he got the soup. There is no Tom Kha for lunch and only Yum instead which was okay but a little disappointing. Thats more watering down the lunch special. Personally, for all the noodles, rice and no soup choice I would have expected it to be priced a little less. Maybe. All in all, its your standard Thai fare. Its not exceptional but its better than some Ive had.

Friendly Atmosphere, Excellent Food and Outstanding Customer Service! Just a few minutes drive from Naval Base Ventura County. It was my first eating there for lunch. Great and Inexpensive cost of food. I firmly believe it is authentic because the server even spoke Thai! If you love Thai food, this is the place to go. There are plenty to choose from the Menu. The Parking may be limited but the space inside is spacious. I recommend you carpool with your buddies or friends.

One star is generous, I would highly recommend to skip this place completely. The wait for water is 30mins and once you receive your food its room temperature and mediocre. The coconut milk is mixed with real dairy so very few vegan options. The women there seem friendly but also seem like they would have rather you chose a different location for lunch and coffee. I felt like I waited 45 mins for anything to be served to me and was rushed to leave. The most awful dinning experience Ive had in all of Ventura county.

There is no other Thai restaurant that compares to the deliciousness of Suvarnaphumi and their amazing customer service. The waitresses are the kindest and most attentive individuals who will be more than happy to fix your order if not pleased. The waitresses also remember you and your orders. The food is excellent. Their tofu pad Thai, and tofu spicy basil and chili is to die for. Compared to other Thai restaurants nearby, Suvarnaphumi has the lightest, non-oily/ greasy food. Their vegetables are fresh, and, from what my meat eating siblings and friends have shared, their chicken and shrimp are top notch.I highly recommend this place.

I had a conversation with the guy taking my order. He repeated it back to me and everything seemed fine. I was able to ask for 1 out of 10 spicy in my panang curry and I said 3. As I said he repeated it back to me. I literally couldnt eat my food as it was too spicy... Cashiers got an extra $2 out of me at POS. This isnt normal for this place, their food is usually good.

Everything was good till they got new staff and started pricing everything up, now you cant get rice with a combo its $2 extra, and they charge 1.50 extra to add bobbas to the thai tea when it used to be included. Besides them trying to save revenue on everything the food is still good.

My mom and I were hitting the thrift stores in the surrounding area and found ourselves being rushed out of a nearby Goodwill at 8pm, closing time. We stepped out into the cool evening air and realized we were starving! I quickly pulled up Google Maps and searched restaurants around the area. We both have dietary restrictions, Im a vegan, shes paleo, so we narrowed the search. Suvarnaphumi popped up and with a quick glance at the positive reviews, we headed in their direction. We were quickly seated, treated well and satisfactorly fed. I was impressed that there were so many choices for both of us, vegetarian and tofu options even had their own section on the brightly colored menu! The food was fresh, tastey and hot. I would highly recommend the fried vegetable dumplings! Mom loved her chicken satay. The service was great and I will be recommending them to everyone, as soon as I figure out how to pronounce their name properly! Lol

I was there with two friends and unfortunately one of my friends was very late meeting us for lunch. Our server (sorry didnt catch her name) was understanding and allowed us to order all together and gave us the time we needed to make our choices.Food - I ordered the Phad Thai, which was delicious, fresh and flavorful. My friend ordered the orange chicken lunch with a green salad and house dressing. The dressing made this simple salad full of flavor with an Asian influence. My other friend ordered the seafood chow mein chock full of delicious seafood consisting of oysters and shrimp among other delicious and fresh ingredients.Check-Out - We requested separate checks as I had a Groupon voucher. Again, the server went the extra mile allowing us to do this with no problem. There were no unreasonable restrictions on the Groupon other than only being able to buy another voucher every 30 days. I find myself counting the days until I can purchase another Groupon voucher so I can continue to eat delicious food in a great Thai restaurant on a budget!

I always order the same thing only because I have a sensitive and particular palate. Their Yellow FISH Curry is amazing. Although not on the menu (fish option, that is), they go out of their way to make it the way I like and worth it. The golden triangles with the house sauce is really good too. Normally comes with a sweet lime sauce but the I like the house sauce (like sweet mustard). Had the pad see ew and pad thai the other night and that was good too. I requested other Thai restaurants to make the dishes the way I like them (not too spicy too), but ends up a fail. The staff remembers their customers and provide great service all the time! Wouldnt go anywhere but here for my favorite Thai dishes and friendly servers!!

Went here cuz the place my husband and I wanted to go to in downtown ventura is closed on Mondays. We got the summer roll appetizer and ordered an all day special. My husband ordered the bbq chicken and I ordered the cha cha fish with level 5 spiciness. The all day special comes with rice, soup or salad, and two spring rolls for $11.95. Not bad of a price for all that food. Will definitely go back again!
