sweetgreen in Walnut Creek

I ordered my order that I ordered because I wanted it. The order i got is the order they decided to give me. Not even the same name. I shouldve double checked, but I thought they were a competent establishment, so I carried on to my destination 30 minutes away only to find that my $15 salad never got to me. I go to call to correct this and am met with a system that doesnt allow you to get through to anybody. All I wanted was a picnic with my salad and some badminton and I ended up wanting to start a riot. Do not recommend.

From the looks of the place figured its something new in WC, so we decided to give it a try.To start with - excellent service and thats what grabbed our attention. Dont know the name of the gentleman with cool tattoos - you are a star of this place!No to the food quality:Kale Cesar bowl - kale and chicken nicely chopped, however salad leaves I couldnt wrap my fist in them. Giant and barely fit in my mouth. Slightly unpleasant. Excellent Garlicky dressing.Hot honey chicken plate - cool ingredients, although soggy and spicy hot for breastfeeding mommy. So be careful with that.Overall - simple, new and pleasant for the “grab and go” experience.

Although Sweetgreen has just opened, I’ve already been here twice. The first time I made the mistake of ordering one of their standard bowls and wound up throwing it away. Arugula is awful and the spicy dressing was so hot I couldn’t eat it. The second time I ordered the same bowl but substituted spring mix for the arugula and balsamic for the spicy dressing. Those two changes made a huge difference and the bowl is something I could eat every day.I’m a huge fan of the other salad shop downtown but Sweetgreen is going to be a potential go-to place for me now.Try it out. I think you’ll like it.

The Harvest Bowl is quite literally the best salad I’ve ever had!

1st review 11/2/23:Finally!!!! I found a place that makes salads the way I like them! Many people think I go overboard putting EVERYTHING into my salads. Sorry... I think the traditional lettuce, tomato, cucumber and onions is dry and boring. This place has the everything else Ive been looking for and a good selection of healthy drinks and deserts. Today, I order again and find this in my salad.....cmon now, pay attention.

I love this place. Their salads are large and always very fresh. I highly recommend coming here if you’re looking for a healthy lunch.

Holy smokes where has this been all my life. Been looking for just a solid chicken & rice bowl with veggies since chipotle went by the wayside 7 years ago. High quality food options, great portions, super healthy choices. I’m so bummed these aren’t in the Pacific Northwest.

We ordered our favorite salads from their menue and it was delicious. Prices are average $ 15 for the dishes. Good service and nice clean atmosphere

Unfortunately despite talking to two managers and eating here all the time—this specific location—sometimes eating there twice a day—they do not seem to have the right training for what is exactly the serving portion. I sometimes get half or even 1/3 of a portion of what I order for the same money, when it was twice more the previous time for the same order. This leaves a bad taste & they’ll lose their regular clients this way.

The worker claimed that the Sunday hours close at 8pm despite Google saying 8:30pm. And kind of reprimanded me when I picked up my order at 8:05. Also my custom order was missing some of the toppings.
