Healthy eats with a lot of options! Stuff was friendly and attentive ☺️ They were soooo busy with deliveries but made everything “for here” quickly. You should definitely try their crispy rice treat it’s so delicious.

I ordered food online from sweet green and I got the harvest bowl. They gave it to me without any chicken and barely any rice and without any dressings even though I put three. This was almost 30 dollars of food. Healthy food is just a way for them to scam you because they are giving you no food. Would never order again. Where is my chicken?? #missingprotein also they claim to make these warm bowls (bowl was cold, shivering even)

Sweetgreen has the best salads anywhere! All the ingredients are fresh and the dressings are creative. My favorite is the Crispy Rice bowl with miso dressing. Its hard to find a salad that fills you up like a meal but somehow sweetgreen makes it work. Loved it so much that we came back twice in one week. This will be my new go to place for salads when Im in town. Delicious!

The food is good but this location seems to have SEVERE problems with logistics and staffing to meet demand, causing orders to take OVER AN HOUR at times. I ordered lunch at noon and the pick-up time was 1:15! The previous time Ive gone there was also a huge backup of orders and the place was packed with people waiting to pick up. Unfortunately, this location appears to be struggling to operate and is not a viable option for a quick workday lunch unless you are prepared to pre-order well in advance.

Sweetgreen is MY FAVORITE salad spot on the planet! All of their salads are delicious and taste so fresh. Some of my favorites are the kale Caesar, chicken pesto parm, and the hot honey chicken plate, but you cant go wrong with anything on the menu! They have a great app that allows quick curbside pickup (the parking lot is small and often full so I recommend picking up). Ive you have never been, you NEED to go. They are a chain and have them in a lot of popular cities!

Use to be 5 stars, but seems to have slipped. They use to mix dressing into salad before serving, now trying to do that in the tiny paper bowl that they use to serve the meal in. Thats hard to do, so the salad makers put less into the bowl, leaving you with a smaller, inferior meal. Fewer customers with higher profit now; I haope they they course correct.

I have been ordering from this sweet green for about two years now, mostly on DoorDash but recently I started going in person. This place is the bomb, its always fresh, every blue moon I get a watery avocado but mostly every single ingredient is flavorful and delicious! Now that Im going in to pick up I noticed how nice and welcoming everyone is, They all have great recommendations too so I can keep coming back without getting tired of getting the same taste over and over again. I think Ive eaten there 4 or 5 days in a row now because this is one of the very few restaurants where you actually feel better after eating the food.A lot of people tell me that its over priced but if you ad meat and get the free bread, this usually lasts me two meals throughout the day, but some salads are lighter than others. And if you havent noticed the entire bay area is overpriced if you want to maintain a healthy nutritious diet. If I knew everyones names I would shout them out because they all deserve it. Going here to grab a meal is something I look forward to every time.

Fast service (parallelized serving process), with decent salad/bowl serving sizes. Expensive though (but I guess all salad/healthy places would be expensive anyways). Served with a side of bread and you could ask for extra (shhh please dont abuse this).There are some seats on the inside and around the outside, and a parking lost for customers.Their salads or bowls are very delicious, with a combination of ingredients that for some reason usually turn out to taste pretty good and pretty original. The employees are all nice! They have seasonal menu items as well.You can kind of see into the back kitchen area and watch the culinary staff prepare food too.

Usually have a great experience when coming in to grab a delicious bite. Today when coming in, one person in my party ordered their food, I was next but was skipped by a short white older male wearing a hat with glasses and dark hair. He walked around the counter to help the woman behind me. Everyone working was passive aggressive about the encounter when questioned (tall guy wearing makeup) however Roxy I’m assuming from the receipt helped me promptly after realizing what took place. If you’re not willing to serve everyone you should work in an occupation that affords you the luxury to chose who you serve!

So this company doesnt issue refunds if you pay for something and they dont have it. They didnt have chicken but didnt tell me that when I went to pick up my chicken salad that I ordered. When I went back, they said theyre out of chicken, and I said thats OK, Ill take a refund. They said they dont give refunds. I cant fathom a business that doesnt inform you when theyre out of what you ordered and just waits until you figure it out, then says no refunds. No wonder their stock is plummeting and their business is failing.

The food I’ve had here in the past was good. But this location now does not let you in the restaurant or even let you place an order. You have to download the app, set up an account and profile, share your email, etc while you stand outside on the sidewalk. I took the trouble to do that and still gave up and walked away because ordering online is difficult. As you are swiping through 100 different salad modifications the app thinks you are adding stuff to your salad, which I wasn’t. I was just swiping. Do not go to this location unless you are a regular customer who has placed an order ahead.

The portions have gotten noticably smaller, and I can no longer justify spending 15 bucks on a bowl filled 1/3 of the way with food.They also sometimes forget to include your dressing if you ask for it on the side, so check before walking away.

Im not particularly a fan of fast food but hey, if youre going to do fast-food how about some healthy fast salads, there are always fresh, only take minutes to prepare, and our fairly priced so as not to hit your wallet too hard? Sign me up. Little disappointed that they dont have a tip jar to reward the young staff, and a little suspicious as to their corporate Origins, but I look at this as the natural successor to what was here before which was Oscars hamburgers which served big, greasy, juicy, medium, oily, greasy fries, and sweet Coca-Colas until the cows came home, which they did and now its a salad joint. But its a solid joint that I agree with. Seasonal salad, fresh ingredients and quick turnaround time and make this a winner for anybody in a hurry who wants to eat healthy. Who says fast food has to be unhealthy?

The food here is great. They make the salads right in front of you at a cute little salad bar. Their food is quite healthy and they locally source all of their ingredients. The whole restaurant is well maintained and looks nice. You can make your own salad or choose one of the options that they have. There are many different dressings and you can choose how much they put on (light, medium, heavy). Once they are done making your salad, you can choose to put bread on it or not.They have indoor and outdoor seating, but the music indoors is rather loud. You should stop by and try one of these delicious salads for yourself!

OMG this salad was heavenly! I did the create your own and it was so delicious. I also tried the miso ginger salad dressing. It was good. I saved some to marinate my chicken in. The salads at sweetgreen are worth it. The prices are a little higher than I want to be paying, but the ingredients are all fresh, the dressings are fantastic and I’ve never had a mediocre salad here. Every combination I’ve made or ordered has been delicious. If you want a healthy, satisfying and delicious meal sweetgreen will fit the bill perfectly. I like their fresh drinks too, no soda here. The only complaint I have is that some of the staff are not very consistent with the amount of dressing and that the dressings are not listed on the big menu so it’s hard to plan ahead. Even still you really can’t go wrong here.

I like this place because I think it has healthy food. I got a salad with chicken and lots of chopped kale and it was tasty. My favorite is the salad with Mexican ingredients and Ill go back to that next time. Portions are large, but they have free take out containers if you need them. Best salads in Berkeley. I am a regular here and go here almost every other day for lunch. Ive had all the salads here including the seasonal ones that they change every few months. All of them are really good. They have all kinds of salads options, be it vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, low calorie, high calorie etc. My favorite regular ones are Hummus Tahina, Harvest Bowl, Guacamole Greens and Shroomami. Their current winter selection is great with Miso Bowl being my favorite. If you dont like whats on the menu, you can always make your own salad. They are cashless and the line at lunch can be huge, going out the door. They also share where their ingredients are sourced from and most of them are local. Love this place and highly recommend it.

I think sweetgreen is doing a tremendous job during the pandemic. Online ordering and drive thru pickup is awesome. My daughter and I ate outside on the sidewalk in the glorious sunshine. I love this place! Its like chipotle but for salads. You walk in and have tons of options and theyre all yummy. You can customize a salad or ask for one of the ones from the board. You go down the line and point at what you want and they make it for you then mix it with whatever dressing you like. They also give you a slice of bread with the salad. Off to the side they have some interesting juices like watermelon cilantro. The salads (depending on what you get) can end up pretty pricey, so watch what youre putting in there! All the ingredients Ive tried so far have been top notch. Juicy chicken, great falafel that wasnt dry, really yummy assorted dressings. If this was closer to my house Id be there every day!

This location is CONSISTENTLY out of specific ingredients. Ive tried to order lunch vs dinner and different meals and on the weekend, 75% of the time they are out of a core ingredient of the meal. I dont understand how they can mismanage their supply of ingredients so poorly. A man working at the Berkeley Sweetgreen this past Sunday morning threw a heavy glass bottle behind my head as I was walking down Shattuck Ave (past Sweetgreen). It crashed into the street leaving glass everywhere. We had had no interaction, he just threw the glass. We were completely alone on the street as it was early- not sure if it was to scare me or threaten me or if he’s just absolutely insane. Obviously it is a safety hazard for so much broken glass to be in the street like that, but I’m concerned for anyone who has to interact with this man in the store. He was Caucasian, short stature with dark brown curly hair. I reported this to Sweetgreen but also want to warn customers! Please be careful when at this location!

Really great place to find something healthy in Berkley. Went with a friend who recommended this place. Their food is to go and you will have to order through their website or app. Great choices to choose from as I tried a couple. One of them was the Chicken Pesto Parm and the other was Valkyraes Extra Cripsy Custom. Both of them were amazing and I was leaning towards the Valkyrae bowl I had. The produce is always super fresh, great suggested salad combos or you can build your own. I use the SG in SF all the time. It is clean, consistent and efficient. As I write this i am at the Berkeley SGs in line. 19 people in line, one bored looking person making salads on slow motion.
