First timer of Sweetgreen and I fell in LOVE! We were in LA for 3 days and we had one every day! Fresh ingredients, the chicken was so flavorful and NOT dry, and I loved their personal touch on toppings with homemade croutons and such. & the portions are great! Buffalo Chicken Caesar was my favorite. Also, I watched a documentary about Sweetgreen recently and they seem to be struggling some to keep this place going but that feels like a shame because this is sooo needed! Salads yes can be expensive but this place felt like they were doing it RIGHT and justifies price for me honestly!!

Great, fresh and healthy food, lovely place, clean and tidy. Friendly and patient staff. Prices are very ok for Los Angeles. At the time we were there (in the morning) there was no crowd. If there is a chance, we will come back again.

Was first day in LA so heading for hr beach and was searching for a salad bar - sweet green is just jaw dropping- super fresh salads (5 types) customized bowls, very nice bowls and extra large portions all super fresh and super nice service - went here for dinner and at the same in downtown Los Angeles near Rodeo drive. If you are searching for super healthy food this is the place - visited others were not looking as fresh as ! My first kale experience ( in Europe difficult to find ) highly recommended!! Love it and is on my agenda for next LA visit 🤗❤️

I didn’t realise it was a chain…I ordered a salmon plate. The salmon wad beautiful - although a very small portion.The major component on the plate was some white rice that haf been so cooked it had lost all its moisture and ended up being crispy.Fresh avocado was appreciated.Overall, it was 780 calories meal where the major component is the rice… so not worth it.Staff was lovely though and the place has a great vibe and is clean.

Amazing greens and the freshest food! The Crispy Rice Bowl is out of this world and would absolutly recommend it. Eveyone was super helpful and in a great mood. I had take out and ate the bowl at Muscle Beach with a world class view!

Disappointed. I ordered for pick up and it just arrived. I’m pretty sure 20 leaves were used total in my salad and the bowl was only 1/3 full. I order the same thing every time so I’m not sure what happened. I get we are inflation, but COME ON. $18 for a 1/3 of a salad.

This place is amazing. This is coming from a guy who doesnt eat salads. Im addicted to their blackened chicken. It almost doesnt matter what the salad is, as long as I have my blackened chicken.Jill has been my go to server for over a year. Always overly friendly and always takes care of me. TJ is the man. He runs the joint and makes you feel like your his #1 customer. Ingredients are always fresh which makes it always taste scrumptious. The portion they give you is perfect.I absolutely love this place.

If you are tired of eating unhealthy fast food or just want to try something different in general try sweetgreen it’s really healthy but also really delicious. There’s a stigma with living in California that we are so caught up in our body image and healthy foods, it’s true, so places like this really fit into the aesthetic…Most times I find that healthy food stores don’t taste that great but this one has many customizable options and it’s really delicious…. I do lots of luxury shopping in downtown Santa Monica so whenever I’m in town I always go to this place. If you love carbs like I do😅 make sure you try out there bread it is so amazing

Amazing bowls. LOVED IT!I had the Cashew/tofu bowl and it was lovely. It is a little spicy too.The only issues i could have with this place is that you cannot pay with cash and also that the staff could improve their processes. They seemed disorganised.

BRANCH MANAGER ALYSSA FRANCOYS does not pay me for days worked. She made me go 3 times to get my check saying that she had it and she wasnt there, she doesnt answer my messages and she doesnt want to serve me in the store. Would you go shopping at a place where they dont pay an employee?

Sweetgreen suffers from poor quality control. I hate to give them a bad review. I very much appreciate they use paper containers instead of plastic. When the salads are on, they are incredible. It’s just that, far too often, the orders turn out wrong, they are out of ingredients, or there is something bad in the salad. It’s unfortunate. We ordered delivery today and the tofu in our salad was not good. It seemed old and stale. It was chewy and gross. Also, they were out of spinach. This is about the third time in row that we’ve had a bad experience with Sweetgreen. Unfortunately, it’ll probably be our last time eating here because of this.

The reviews I’ve skimmed so far aren’t doing this place justice. I usually don’t even like salad, but this place is so good, I crave it! I get the bowls... which are like salads but with warm grains added, but still mostly greens. So I get all the goodness of salad but I’m also full by the end, which is not easy to do with me! I feel happy for hours after eating here. Service is usually good. I had a girl with a name like maybe Newlop today? She was outstanding! I definitely got the best one there. I am so excited about this place. I never thought I’d crave salad! (I think the menu here is out of date. They have some regulars and also a seasonal selection that is delicious and inspiring.)

Star rating is sort of irrelevant, just want to warn anyone w/ibs/ neurological GI issues, this place gave me the worst flare-up of my life even though Im very careful with ingredients. I believe they might use more ingredients than they say to season the meat/quinoa. Be careful/have smaller portions.

Great place for fresh, delicious and healthy meals. Especially recommend the Hummus Tahini salad. Loved how they listed ALL the locations of their ingredients and its all local and seasonal! Only downside was there is no waste-free eat in option (such a shame!), with the compostable bowls and cutlery the only option (not as good as no waste).

I noticed several times that the place has taken the effort to be eco-friendly with their packaging and waste management. I felt good about eating here for a number of reasons. Crisp, fresh local (mostly) salad, it is ideal for healthy filling lunches. The salad was so filling I was surprised how few calories it was. It is not much of a sit-down restaurant but the decor is appealing enough to have a comfortable meal in. They have a seasonally changing menu and indicate which farm/where each ingredient is from, which gave me a feeling of deeper connection to the food. Ill definitely go back when Im in SM.

Great salads. Can be custom made. Ingredients are organic and hormone free. As long as you dont go too crazy with add ons, you can keep the salad reasonably priced ($9-12). They also have a great rewards program if you sign up for their app. Every $99 you spend you get $9 off, plus additional rewards as your level goes up. You can also order ahead w the app.Minus one star only bc I saw the staff eat something with fingers then resume making a salad without washing hands/changing gloves. Ive worked in the food industry to know this happens behind the scenes, but at least be discreet enough to not do it RIGHT in front of customers.

I discovered the restaurant In Boston. Every time I am in the US, I look if theres one around where I am. Thats how much I love it! So I was happy to find this one while in Santa Monica! They have a great range salads that looks delicious but I prefer to create my own! Service is fast and prices are what you can find in most salad bars.I have this thing with floors so I love theirs with the sweetlife.My creation: spinach leaves, tomatoes, sweet corn spicy broccoli, oven baked sweet potatoe, chicken, parmesan with a spicy cashew dressing. Friendly staff, delicious salads. Be aware of lunch and dinner rushes, you might want to keep an eye on your order, as it gets hectic. Like all sweetgreens, you will progress your order through the assembly line a la subway (but with far, far superior greens). All of the cutlery and plastic (biodegradable) are good quality compostible stuff. They mindfully list their produce sourcing on the wall. Wifi is available and not bad.

Easily my new favorite place to get a salad. This is the Chipotle of salads offering a variety of salad options already imagined and also the option to completely customize it yourself.The already imagined salads will run you about 11 bucks and the customizable option varies depending on your selections.The ingredients are organic and lists the farms and locations which they were purchased. The menu is seasonal but I typically get the Guacamole Greens which has organic mesclun (fancy term for mixed greens), tomatoes, red onion, tortilla chips, avocado, roasted chicken, fresh lime squeeze, lime cilantro jalapeño vinaigrette. I LOVE this salad, its zesty, doesnt have diary and packed full of flavor. The vinaigrette is super light and not spicy at all, in fact it could use a bit more jalapeño but its still delicious.Another added bonus is the staff. They hire a super diverse crowd which I really appreciate and of course everyone is super friendly and helpful when it comes to ordering. Kudos on the hiring selection.

From the outside it looks like a cool and pleasant place, but the kitchen is not clean and is chaos, the employees are not friendly. Other places of the same style are much better, a shame they could do it well
