We used to eat here years ago. We loved it then.... we moved 4 years ago...and we came back for dinner this week. It was spectacular!!!I think it might be better than it was 5 years ago!! What a great meal. Tangerine beef, Generals chicken, walnut shrimp, all so delicious. I cant wait to come back at Christmas and eat here again!!The service was also excellent!

Came here for a quick lunch after a gym session with some friends and got the lunch special with fried rice and kung pao chicken, filled me up nicely and was a great price for all the food I got. Nice little spot will have to come by again!

The stewards were very friendly and attentive. Cosy atmosphere, nice decor, neat and tidy. But food lacked Szechuan ingredients. The basic ingredient, the Szechuan pepper corn was missing. The condiments didn’t include the Chinese chili oil and was given the siracha paste. The shrimp dish didn’t include fresh seafood. The food was mediocre.

We parked in front of this place. We noticed people were going in non-stop. They must have good food. I would have never chosen to even eat there just because of the appearance of the outside. It needs cleaning up paint always cover up dirt. But they do have A on the door. For clean Restaurant inside. For that reason my sister says she wants to give this restaurant a try. I gave it 5 stars based on the people going in happy and comming out happy.

The food was absolutely delicious! The appetizers were made to perfection, not to crispy, not soggy at all and the temperature was not too hot. Everything had flavor, you could taste it in every bit. The chicken and beef are made just right, still tender and juicy. All of the main dishes are prepared fresh and will definitely make your taste buds happy you dined there. They offer take out, dine in and delivery. The staff was very friendly and my food was made in an appropriate amount of time. Like a lot of restaurants, it is a little pricey, but definitely worth the trip. There was no one in there when I went, so if you dine in, you will have privacy.

Food is good and there is a great variety of dishes to choose from. Place is pleasant and service is good. Dishes are not expensive and sizes are quite big so I always have left over for a meal at home for later. I like to go for the lunch choices.

When in Rome: Came here for lunch and had the house combo rice and Orange chicken. Very nice people & service and seriously the food was excellent. The Orange chicken had a sweet yet light ginger which was actually a nice touch and the bbq pork in the rice was nice and chunky:).

It saddens me to give a one star review. But, to be fair this review is about the service, not about the quality of food. I picked up carry out on my lunch hour and it was incorrect. Mistakes are made and I understand that, but they admitted to not reading the special instructions. So with that being said 1) I didnt get what i ordered 2. I didnt have time to go back for the corrected order 3. They didn’t apologize for their mistake and the inconvenience. I don’t know about you, but with inflation dining out is a luxury and its very expensive and not feeling like a valued customer who supports their business is a slap in the face. Very disappointed in todays treatment on top of being hangry and not eating lunch because of their mistake.

Had a great experience with our order yesterday. The food quality was good, fast delivery.Reason for 4 stars and not five is that we specifically asked for spicy mustard and yet you didn’t bother to include in the order.I will never order from this restaurant if I can’t trust that you would for get to include the spicy Mustard that is mandatory.

The food is really good I had the wonton soup, orange chicken, white rice, and the egg roll. Everything came out warm and very fresh. They staff was friendly and inviting. They were quick on filling drinks and making sure I had everything I needed. The portions were a good size. Over all I definitely would recommend and I will be coming back.

Lovely setting and great service. Busy place and huge take out / delivery operation. We dined in and the ambiance was very pleasant.We had the seafood dinner special for two. Food was tasty but I forgot to ask about MSG usage. If they did use it, it must have been minimal as I did not suffer the typical headaches. Next time I will enquire. Serving portions were substantial. Vegetables were fresh and crisp. My only complaint was that the Seafood Soup included in the special dinner included mostly chicken and only a single shrimp in the pot. We will definitely return, but will order ala carte next time.

I worked there in 1988-89 I cant believe its still open all these years later. They had the coolest cook who knew Kung fu and flipped me over himself in the kitchen. I think his daughter worked there too. They owned the business then.

Dont know about the other dishes first time there we had Mongolian which in my opinion was traditionally not sweet the meat was a little overcooked. I saw another table getting the dish and I asked what it was and it was General Taos chicken. The general taos I would not recommend definitely the Mongolian is okay. The general tiles is loaded with red food coloring and very non-traditional in my opinion. Ive never seen any dish like that in a Chinese restaurant and Ive been all over the United States and Hong Kong and China. Maybe a sweet and sour dish anyway it was crunchy and didnt have the traditional vinegar sweet and hot flavor of General Taos chicken

One of the BEST Chinese restaurants Ive had in a long time!! I havent lived in Simi since 1988. My husband and I were passing through and stopped for dinner tonight and we are so glad we did! The Mongolian beef was the absolute BEST we ever had and the shrimp low mein was delicious. The kung pao was very flavorful. What I liked best about each of these dishes is that the sauce was cooked into the food. Some restaurants drown their meats and vegetables with heavy sauces leaving a soggy mess. The flavor was on point here. We also liked that you could order a serving of fried rice or steamed rice for only $1.50. All the Chinese restaurants Ive been too charge you for a full side order. The plain fried rice was tasty and full of flavor. The hostess was polite and seated us right away. The waitress was sweet as well.Highly Recommend - Cant wait to eat my leftovers tomorrow for lunch!

This place is amazing! Food cooked to perfection, portions are huge, a bit pricey but totally worth the money. Took a little long for the food to come out but it was again worth the wait. Teriyaki beef sticks for an appetizer and they were wonderful! Ordered the lemon chicken and the panko breading was perfect. Lemon sauce was not too sweet and had the right amount of tangy flavor. Beef broccoli was tender and the sauce was savory. BBC pork fried rice was not greasy and cooked all the way. The steamed rice was flavorful too. Definitely come here.

I use to go to this restaurant and it was great! I just ordered food at 5:31pm to be deivered they said it was going to be deliver at my place in 1 hour. it has been 1 hour and 30 mins. and they dont even answer the phone. My husband had to go to the restaurant to see what happened with the order, He found a big line and all costumers complaining and screaming at the worker/cashier at the restaurant exactly with the same issue as my self. it is 7:17 pm and he still waiting on line to ask if they even received the order I made on line.it is now 7:37pm and I just received a call from a person telling me that they are 5 mins. from my home and that food its on it;s way. they delivered at 7:42 pm. and the driver said this happenes to them every year but the new owner does not understand that this is a big problem people dont like to wait 2 hours. and with covid everything is worst. My husband waited on line in this cold weather for nothing. I had to give my little ones frozen pizzas, since they came too late. no stars... terrible experience!

Went here with large group, we ordered tons of food. Food was great, atmosphere was nice. They did not hover over us, but gave excellent service. Someone in dining party left purse. Even though restaurant was closed the following two days due to holiday; we received the purse back with all contents. Nothing missing or gone through. Great food and staff with honor. Highly recommend and will return.

This was always one of our favorite places over many years in Simi Valley. Unfortunately, the quality has become poor over the last several times we’ve ordered take-out. We tried one more time tonight, but the chicken in the lo mein was like shoe leather (I actually think it was fried chicken skin). I called to tell them about it and the woman who answered the phone said that other people have thought it was skin too, but it isn’t. She said they were having trouble with their distributor. Also tonight, the cashew chicken was dry and flavorless. In any event, definitely not worth the money anymore. We won’t be going back.

We have been going to this restaurant regularly for at least 15 years. The food and service is fantastic. We love the war wonton soup. It is delicious, full of fresh meat, shrimp, wontons and vegetables. It is so filling and so reasonably priced. No other compares. We can count on all of the various menu items to be delicious.

Ordered food for pick up from Szechuwan Garden last night. My husband picked up the food and brought it home. Broccoli Beaf, Chicken with cashews and low mien noodles and two egg rolls. Beef was tender but had no flavor, broccoli was mushie. Chicken again no flavor and noodles were dry and again no flavor. After pending $39.00 on dinner was very very disappointed. Only thing we enjoyed was the two egg rolls. Would never recommend or go back. As for the person answering the phone, she needs to slow down and take order and not rush people. Again, please check review before going.

I like the decor and atmosphere. The food is as good as any Chinese food. The hostess is efficient and the bus lady is the best.The problem is the waiter who I suspect is an owner. This fellow is impatient, speaks way to fast and does not listen well. Consequently he makes mistakes. Not once in a while....often if not usually!Most the time one of us doesnt get what we order. White rice? Fried rice? They might sound similar but you would think he being the guy that ask the question a million times a day would take care to listen closely enough to make sure of what the customer has said.The last time we ate there, neither one of us received entirely what we wanted. I ate the white rice and my wife ate the green pepper instead of the snow peas and broccoli she ordered.His response was hard to decipher but it appeared to be Oh Well! He certainly made no attempt to make it up to us.With so many places to eat, why would we subject ourselves to this?

Nothing special, standard Chinese food you might get anywhere. Entree portions are large and feed multiple people, so better for ordering for a group instead of individual. If you order online be aware they dont use the app to actually notify you when your food is ready, so you just have to show up at the estimated time.

However, Kung Pao chicken, typically there are quite a few green onions and peanuts and its got a kick to it - theirs was very bland/boring and not many green onions. Also ordered orange chicken, which was a a little better, but nothing spectacular. I was surprised meals didnt come with rice? Had to pay extra for that - Ive always received rice in Asian restaurants with an entree. I wont return, for the money nothing that great.

This is the best Chinese restaurant in Simi Valley. The atmosphere is clean and upscale, with a light-colored elegant interior thats quite pretty. The booths are comfortable and usually full. I work with many foreign exchange students and take them to various Asian restaurants (Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese and Chinese), and my students really like their food! Lunch options are very reasonable and plentiful.

Yes, it was NYE, and I expected the food to take a while for delivery. I live less than a mile from the restaurant, it took almost 2 hours to deliver. The food was stone-cold, inedible and it all went into the trash. Paid $67 for 2 dinners and appetizer.
