2023-09-27 01:41:21We came here for dim sum, and we were pleasantly surprised. We loved that they have dim sum carts! A lot of dim sum places no longer do the roaming carts filled with various dishes where you can just point and choose a dish. Of the few that still do this, often times the food is not hot or over cooked from sitting in the cart too long. The dim sum here was excellent! Everything came out piping hot, and for the one radish cake that didn’t quite look hot, when we asked to make it hot, they didn’t just microwave it. It was heated properly, fully through, with a crunchy outside, indicating that they panfried it as they should have. The prices were a tiny bit higher than Alhambra or other Asian areas, but as it’s the only one in this neighborhood, I think the pricing is doable. I’m willing to pay so I don’t have to drive out to Gardena. There is ample parking off of Oak St behind the restaurant and we were seated immediately coming on a Sunday afternoon. Great choice if you are hungry and want to eat right away!

2021-12-28 03:05:52This place is a SOLID choice. The chicken feet and spare ribs are the best they offer. Wow! Delicious and tender. The fish is also a regular order from us. This can run anywhere from $10/person to $30/person depending on how hungry and how clever you are with ordering filling dishes. Other good choices: sesame balls, the egg tart, shrimp eggplant balls, the fried shrimp balls.Reduced selection because of COVID. Friendly staff, though. Good atmosphere and great service. They charge for tea, unfortunately.I was on the lookout for friend taro cakes, egg tarts, and sticky rice. Unfortunately, not to be had this time around. Regardless, delicious time!

2023-05-27 21:01:25Second time here in two months, very consistent food. i love ordering shrimp noodle, hargow, and bola pineapple bao. me and my partner love the hot tea (lmao they give it to u at the start and it costs 4$) and how fast they seat you. i’ve called every time before coming in since some chinese resturant a just stop dim sum per demand, it looks like they always stop dim sum at 3pm!! once again i love this place personally 🥺♥️ super cute, fast seating, fast dim sum, authentic szechwan ambiance.

Highly recommend — the portions are large, the dim sum is delicious (honestly recommend over anything in China Town) and the people and staff are so nice and friendly. Leo is so helpful and great — go check them out for sure!!

2021-10-21 21:08:04Great service! Very helpful staff! Food was delicious. They had the hottest mustard. Tofu wrap was crispy and delicious. Very crunchy walnut shrimp. Not over coated with mayonnaise. Dim sum was a bit limited. But is good

2022-10-16 05:50:08This is definitely our favorite Dim Sum place in the LA South Bay. It has all the items we love. Some items are not easily found outside the San Gabriel Valley.Highly recommended unusual items to try:- “Steamed Shrimp Ball” in the to-go menu: our family and extended families all Iove this fish, it’s called the pearl shrimp-balls in Chinese. Many people probably don’t know about it because most places don’t have them. They are shrimp-balls rolled with sticky rice outside. It’s very different from ordinary dim sum, and very delicious. We usually get one to two per person (4 to an order) and more to take home!- “Po Lo sweet paste bun” in the to-go menu. This dessert is amazing. I forced a friend to try, after trying it, she said it was evil, ha ha, definitely irresistible. Po Lo means pineapple in Chinese, but it doesn’t have any pineapples in this delicious dish (at least at this location), it’s a very yummy pastry that has the pineapple look, and it has sweet creamy paste inside. If served warm, it’s super delicious. It’s also rarely found outside SGV.They also have most other normal dim sums you’d expect, they are all very delicious. The owner lady at the counter is always very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the service overall.

2023-02-21 03:58:39Very good food. We had wonton soup - 1/2 was plenty. Dim sum appetizer. Orange peel chicken with steam rice and Szechwan Chow mein. Wonton soup was one of the best I ever had. Orange peel chicken was very crunchy and tasty with slight hint of spice. Our server was very attentive and place an order for dim sum first cause it takes longer than other dishes. Bill came to 82$ for dinner for 3 of us and we had leftovers for next day. Chinese food like this we had in China town San Francisco.
