Tableau Kitchen and Bar in Costa Mesa

We had a really nice experience dining in the patio of Tableau! The food and service were excellent! We had the smash burger, eggplant sandwich and many desserts! The desserts are presented beautifully and they taste amazing! My favorite was the chocolate mousse cake!

A very nice breakfast, lunch and dinner place in the South Coast Plaza mall. They open early on weekends (9:00): about an hour or two before the shops open.A good place to have a bite to eat before your shopping day starts.Good food, excellent service, fast WiFi…Not a bad place to sit and enjoy.

Outdoor feel in the indoor setting, great pasties, great for brunch too, call to the restaurant to reserve to avoid the wait.

Came here for Mothers Day brunch. Food was delicious and service was great! Cocktails were also delicous AND unique! Looking forward to coming back to try more of everything on the menu. :)

Conveniently located near the Apple Store / Sur La Table side of South Coast Plaza mall.Service was great! Our server spoke Vietnamese!Food is pretty. Great for brunch and chatting.Salads are very fresh and refreshing. Pancakes and desserts 👍👍👍

Each plate served is so beautiful to look and is amazing to taste. I have visited there several times with family and friends, and everybody was happy. Always full of belly with satisfaction to leave the place. Price is also wonderful to the prime quality of each meal. Staffs are also so friendly, and quit smart to serve our table. They seems like they know what we may need even before asking. So good and wonderful time I had in the place. I would strongly recommend to taste their deserts. I heard the chef is Michelin starred, and specialized to deserts, each has beautiful vision, and very much delicious of high end quality.

A open side restaurant inside the mall where you can see passerby’s. I really wanted to try their fried burrata sandwich but they just switched it out. They replaced it with the new burrata. This is a seasonal every changing menu type restaurant. Come while you can still try some of your favorites. The aperol drink reminded me of the flinstone orange hard vitamin in essence but for adults. Had slight sweetness but the mix of the citrus flavor gave it that bit of punch. I would say the rigatoni was decent, had a bit of a kick just enough to keep it going. A bit light in flavor overall. It’s shareable enough with about 30 PCs +. The burrata crab cake was pretty good. I think the way it was fried really did it for me. Don’t know how they fried that burrata crab cake but it was quite delicious. There’s a bed of spaghetti noodles underneath as well. Portion wise, it’s just enough to share. Can’t imagine what that fried burrata sandwich would have been like if it was done this well for their burrata crab cake. If you’re really hungry then you’ll probably want one more shareable dish. Which is why I felt a cheeseburger was a great way to top it off. The cheeseburger was better than expected, no fries needed. The bread reminded me of a McDonald’s style cheeseburger bun in its essence but also like a Hokkaido milk bun in some sense like a light doughnut in its own way. All of this in a good way. The bacon had a hint a sweetness but really added to the burger, same with the egg as well. The pickle had a lightness to it but vinegary/acidic. It was like a lighter sweeter version of a regular dill pickle. Really good. The burger meat patty itself was delicious as well. Overall it was a clean solid tasting burger. The garlic aioli for the fries tasted like a lighter slight tangy/citrusy hollandaise or lighter béarnaise sauce, not overpowering. I would say I really liked the burrata crab cake and burger. I would come back for the day time menu just to try all their other goodies. If you’re trying to fill up, I would say order at least 3 items. Would recommend giving this place a try.

Unique foodie experience.Fried Barrata Sandwich was the group fav, but the chicken and waffles was mine. It is a Korean chicken wing and taiyaki waffle! The pomegranate salad, steak breakfast burrito, and jasmine tea French toast were also high on the list. The salmon chilaquiles were just ok.Service was also top notch. We brought the doggy and they welcomed us in the patio. Mimi even had me come out and pick a spot because most of the tables were in the sun and we were a party of 8. Jason, our server was super nice and helpful in picking entrees, drinks, and desserts. He even walked with some of us to the front to pick out pastries and cookies that were not in the dessert menu.We will definitely be back! Thanks Mimi and staff!

This is the perfect spot for brunch! From thoughtful presentation, to the quality of ingredients, to the superb service by the waitstaff… my girlfriends and I were so happy we found our new fave place to visit after a day of shopping! There are so many creative items on the menu; can’t wait to return to try more things! Must order the chicken wings and taiyaki waffles + the jasmine tea French toast! ❤️ also have to give a shout-out to Lily who was so sweet to give us complimentary juices for our mimosa flight, just to make sure it was to our liking. We were really impressed, even though the restaurant just opened a couple months ago. You might see the owners also pitching to help, so have some patience and definitely come hungry. 😋

This was a pleasant surprise. I was a little confused at first because the mall doesnt open until 10 so I didnt think it could be open but I trusted google and sure enough it was open. Wow. The service was great. The food was delicious but also very fun. The chicken and waffles was yum. Everything was so great. The pictures dont do it justice. Remember to come early.
