Best eggs benedict Ive ever tried!! Staff was fast and extremely helpful. The pancakes were a bit undercooked but they immediately rectified the situation and gave us a free cinnamon bun! Will definitely be back here!

Friendly service, and opens early, as well. Ive also eaten lunch there and the food was also very good. Great beer selection as well. Wish the place was open later for drinks.
Came here for breakfast had the country fried steak had them add gravy to my biscuit and also got a cinnamon roll on the side because they look really good in the picturesThe country fried steak was great as was the biscuit and gravy. The cinnamon roll on the other hand was strange. It wasnt bad but it wasnt typical it had raisins and walnuts in it and the icing was a thinner icing not super gooey like normal cinnamon rolls are not sure I would order that again.
I had Richs breakfast, two eggs, sausage patty, home fries with busiut and gravy. Had a day free from work, and am glad to have been able to stop in at Tabletop Resturaunt for some wonderful food.

We went for a special New Years Eve dinner event. We ordered halibut with a lemon caper sauce and added a lobster tail. It was absolutely excellent! All the staff was super friendly and very attentive. I was very pleased with the high quality of the dinner we had. I wish they would do dinner service more often, as Im not a huge breakfast person.

My server was very friendly and attentive, my order arrived much quicker than I expected and I was more than pleased with my homemade chicken fried steak. Its not your typical battered and deep fried diner offering, but rather hand breaded and fried on the grill. If you are like me and grew up on chicken fried steak made at home, this will surely be a great nostalgic experience. Very well executed - tender with a nice crunch. My home fries were amazing; red potato cubes, crispy and perfectly seasoned. And if you are a gravy coinnaseur, I challenge you to find fault with their country gravy.While the decor wasnt my favorite, it was very clean, and I found myself lingering after the meal and enjoying conversation and coffee. Something about this place is just comfortable and inviting. No question, the best diner in Oroville, and challenging for the title of best in Butte County.
Updating this since our last visit a year ago. This time, the gravy was really salty, and the biscuits were dry. The gravy on the biscuits was barely warm while the extra side of gravy we ordered was steaming hot. The omelet was over cooked with the eggs being crispy and dry. Disappointing considering we visit the sister restaurant down here in Rocklin (Granite Rock Grill), both with the same menus, and the one down here is so much better. Great service, though!!

Great service and friendly waitresses. Interior decorations/paintings were sort of all over the place, but it was a clean place. The burgers were a little dry, but portion size was great. It seems like they might specialize more in breakfast foods. Also, the fried pickles were some of the best Ive had. After a 4 day backpacking trip, I couldnt ask for a better post-hike feast. Ill definitely be returning if Im ever in the area again
Food was great, service was excellent and prices were not that bad. We went on Easter and they were very busy but we were seated really fast. They have a little of everything.

The food was good. My salad came first, I asked for no beans in it and at the bottom, there were some beans and I had no utensils to eat with and had to wait a bit to catch someones attention. My Sandwhich/dip was good but I thought it came with cheese on it (would have been better to help hold the meat from all falling out). I waited and waited for a drink refill and finally had to go up and ask someone. The person that was with me had to ask for napkins (she ordered a Hamburger hence, messy). I was actually a bit disappointed with the service. I know this place can do better then this so I would still recommend it and hopefully it was just an off day.

The menu is well rounded with a good variety of breakfast dishes. Creative use fresh ingredients. I would give it a 4 but the restrooms are hideous, small, tight,and dirty stalls. This may explain why it tastes great while your eating it but it doesnt sit well through the digestive process.

Wonderful people who work there. We were welcome from start to finish. The service was great and the breakfast we had was delicious! I had Spanish Omelet and he had the Meat Loaf Sandwich. We both were very happy with everything, and I mean everything. We will be back.
Excellent customer service I dug the facility looks like a bar in back not sure forgot to look. Very clean tables Alittle pricy for my veggie scramble honestly nothing special about my veggie scramble though my hash browns were burnt outside and way to soggy soft inside.

Went to Tabletop for lunch on Fathers Day! Not only was their food fantastic, but their service was amazing. I havent seen servers like theirs in a very long time! They were friendly, kept our drinks topped off, and checked in constantly! Thank you for a wonderful Fathers Day meal!
Cool place to visit. Dining experience was like an old saloon but of updated quality. The place serves buffalo steak and elk sliders. Very unique menu and pleasantly surprised for downtown Oroville.

Went on Taco Tuesday. The tacos were pretty good. The guacamole was over spiced and had a couple of stems in the mix. Wife had the taco salad. She had one before and loved it. This time it had too much seasoning in the meat. Service was good.

Went there for lunch today and got a French dip sandwich the price was 11.99, the was hardly any meat and mostly fat in the sandwich if your going to have a huge French roll you need to fill it I could have fit all the meat in one half of the sandwich and still have room especially after taking out the fat, I was expecting a sandwich like the hauf brow and that sandwich only cost 9 dollars. I had been there once before and it was great but that was months ago.

The outside of the restaurant is very off putting. But go inside. My gf and I have been getting breakfast every time we have Saturday off. And after out last Dennys visit. We decided to go for something new. This place blew our mind. The service was amazing. Clean and smells nice. The wait staff look clean and groomed. The table are not sticky! Then the food was super good. Its faster, better and cheaper then Dennys. Compared to what we get at Dennys our food was 10-15 dollars cheaper and was so good. We have changed our breakfast place to here. Happy to say I finally wont be going back to Dennys
The cheeseburger wasnt all that. There was more bread than meat tasted like frozen patties. Atmosphere and customer service was great. Will probably visit again and give ot another try with another menu item.
The food was actually very delicious and very big servings... Coming from the bay area I was pleased with the service.... The staff and kitchen was fast... Food came out hot and had great flavor... Ill definitely go back when I visit my family next time....
I will not patronize this restaurant again. I have been here in the past many times and had good experiences, however that was not the case on Saturday, June 27th. Not one employee in this restaurant was wearing a face covering! Not one! We entered the restaurant wearing our masks only to receive dirty looks from not only other patrons, but the employees as well. Clearly, no one here is aware that there is a virus going around and that there are minimal safety measures that can be followed to protect others while conducting business. We did not receive good service and rather than encountering signs regarding safety measures, we encountered signs advertising Friday night live music and dancing. The exact opposite of behavior that is responsible and safe during this time. If this is some type of political statement, shame on them! This is not a time for political statements, it is a time for businesses and people in general, to look out for one another. Im sure my money and business dont matter to this company or owner, but I will not be back, ever!
The coffee was watered down a lot and tasted burnt, it was almost like they just kept adding hot water to the pot instead of brewing more. Other than that, the food was good and the service was great. Most likely won’t be back for breakfast though, solely because of the coffee.

My club sandwich was ok but pricey. About $12. Had an inch and a half of crisp lettuce and all the turkey was in the middle. I shouldnt have to rearrange my food at those prices. Nice atmosphere.

Everytime I go there the food is good. Some people that have dinned with me did not care too much for the food. They stated it was dry. I love their ranch and put it on everything so never had that issue. I will still continue to go there.
Amazing (and huge!) cinnamon rolls. My wife had her breakfast cooked perfectly to order (eggs soft scramble, bacon crispy), and my chili bean omelet was delish! We will definitely be back!
Magnificent. My omelet was fluffy and well cooked, the best biscuit (can be ordered with gravy for a slight addition). My husband an daughter ordered prime rib hash, which they said was great, topped with perfect poached egg. Son-in-law ordered elk burger and garlic fries, huge and wonderful. Best Oroville breakfast.
First time here and it was wonderful. Sandwich portions are huge!! I got the club and it was the biggest I have ever had I also got a side of garlic fries and they were amazing. Super helpful and tentative staff.

If you go for breakfast, plan on not needing lunch! You will leave full and with leftovers. Like most Oroville businesses you can see the labor of love the owners have for their restaurant and will see them on the floor with their employees working. They have a full bar, and some amazing mimosa options. The menu is expansive with keto options as well as low fat varieties as well.
Weve eaten here regularly and have really enjoyed the food. But until today weve always gone early morning and mask mandate and social distancing seating seemed to be followed. Today we went in later then usual. First they tried to seat us right next to another full 4 top table. But did sit us at another table when asked. However soon after getting coffee a waitress came to our table with mask under nose and we then looked around to notice at least 10 different people walking around past our table with no masks. Ok if they dont want to keep their customers safe their business but it was also our decision if I wanted to take the severe health risks they are allowing to happen. But when my husband asked to pay for coffee and explained why we NEEDED to leave both our waitress and the cashier were extremely rude and nasty. Very not necessary!!!!
I have never had a bad meal at Tabletop. Have eaten breakfast and lunch. Always delicious. Have even taken friends to enjoy a meal. Always left overs to take home. Girls very friendly. Good wait service makes meal more enjoyable.
Service was great, food was delicious, atmosphere is relaxing. Try the bloody Mary, its delicious... Best Ive ever had. It was very busy and we waited over an hour for our food was the only issue preventing the fifth star.
What happened to the Great food, this restaurant used to have. Mr Britton needs to teach the new owners how to prepare the food like it used to be. He was taught, when he took over business years ago.When you have a good thing going, keep it that way.
We had Tabletop cater a rehearsal dinner off-site for 45 people. The food was great as well at the service. I would highly recommend Tabletop for your catering needs. It was nice to keep our business local and get good food too.
It was my 1st visit. Service is great. Everyone at my table raved about the food. The portions were large. I will definitely go back as well as recommend Table Top to anyone wanting a really good meal.
A very disappointing lunch today at Tabletop restaurant. Upon arriving we were set very quickly which was nice. However we set close to 15 minutes before being acknowledged by anyone although passed by many times by servers. It actually took us stopping someone to even get a cup of coffee and a glass of water. Mind you we had a two year old with us. Finally we did get our waitress to show up and were able to place our order. We did get our meal and had to send back one order because it arrived cold. Oroville needs a nice restaurant I hope that they get the situation with their servers taken care of soon so we can try again and enjoy a meal
Update: Tried again. Worse than last time with a rude server to boot. Benedict made with ham, not Canadian Bacon as menu stated. Hollandaise sauce was broken. Muffin so burnt out was tough to cut through.The waitress, an older bleached blond lady, was rude who wanted to argue Canadian Bacon vs Ham. Ive been a chef for 40 years. I didnt touch the home fries as all I could taste was a dirty grill. Last chance.Good service, food was just ok but Ill try again.
The waitress Tracy or Valerie (cant remember her name) is rude. The food had no taste. The fried steak was tough and chewy. We were really hoping it would be good since we live close by but it was very disappointing
I just ate a hot philly cheese steak sandwich and some fries. I like it here one of the most authentic place I ate at in a long time . Will definitely be coming back with my pops. Love this place. Everybody is friendly here that a plus for customer service

Very nice waitress helped me, since I was rushed & the menu is huge. I wanted a basic breakfast burrito. Got barrito, hashbrowns, with side of Gravy. $17.15. It was good but way too expensive. I didnt see anything on the menu over $12 for burritos. Hmmmm

This was my second time eating here, this time for breakfast and I wasnt that impressed. Its clean and food was just ok. Wait staff was good, when told something on plate tasted spoiled they removed it and gave us a discount which was nice. I wouldnt go out of my way to go back. A little pricey in my opinion.

My coffee cup stayed full, and they definitely use fresh ingredients and make everything (even the raspberry jam and orange marmalade on the table is made at the restaurant!)

My friend used to work there, they use canned jam from cosco and pawn it off as homemade! Lol thought Id share! Its in the back behind the bar where they open the cans of orange marmalade and the jam and re can it into cute jars! So funny
If you enjoy a big breakfast or lunch then Table Top Restaurant is the place to go, im a big eater and i even had a tuff time finishing my meal, not just big meals but very delicious, truly. My family and I will be back soon, so if dont know on where your nextGreat breakfast or lunch is going to be, give Table Top restaurant a try .

2023-02-03 21:38:43After- hike lunchie. This restaurant was so good. Our server, Jane was the best ever. Evan and Pam also made sure we had anything we needed. My omelet was absolutely delish. 💕 They even had some beautiful painted rocks done by a customer.

2023-10-05 20:23:47Beautiful experience.. drove past this place for a long time and finally stopped in. The interior was so home like feeling. The food was top notch all the way to the jelly. And service was warm and friendly. Truly one of my best experiences ever... definitely will make it one of mY favorite in country food living and experience. God bless this place.. Amen

2023-01-29 17:43:00Very good food and excellent service. Its nice to see a restaurant that isnt understaffed right now. Several waitresses were very attentive to us.All the food was very good, and serving sizes were certainly large. Biscuits and gravy were some of the best Ive ever had and thats a dish I try at every restaurant.Large banquet room and a nice looking bar.

In addition to the sit-down experience, the owners have rental space available for events, and they provide incredible selections of finger foods and/or limited selection food bars (i.e., salad, soup, dessert, etc.). I highly recommend Tabletop Restaurant for a great dining experience.

I went with my friend to get the flight of mimosas (highly recommend) upon leaving I noticed that I had been charged wrong. I reached out to the restaurant via Facebook messenger and the owners took care of it right away! Highly recommend and I will definitely be back.

2023-09-24 19:57:39Delicious food, but slow service. We were a table of 6 and the tables of 2, 4 and 6 .... that arrived 5-10 minutes after us were served first. The table of 2 even noticed it, finished their food and even made a comment why we were not served. If they know about service, they ARE supposed to serve as people order. Not coming back. Disappointed

2023-11-06 19:57:43This my 2nd time coming here since the first time was a good experience. I called 20 to 15 mindd n place an order for dining in . Got there told them my name. Reconfirmed my order n was asked if i steal wanted the same drink i said yes n i was asked what type of drink i wanted n asked for Coca-Cola. They bring my food n no drink or water. She was asking the tables around the room if they need water or anything else. Dont want to bring race to this but im not white n 96 & where white n she steal wanted to charge me for my drink that didnt get
