We go to this Taco Bell occasionally. Its normally an ok experience. This time, it was not good at all. We got 2 crunchy tacos and one soft taco. We couldnt eat any of them because they were too soggy! The meat was runny, and the lettuce was wet. The crunchy tacos were already separated by the time we got home (3-5 min drive), and the soft taco was visibly wet and gummy. My daughter only likes the crunchy shell and the meat on hers, so thats what I ordered for her, as I have many times. This time, they also put cheese on her tacos. We ended up throwing it all away. Overall, epic fail.

Not only did we sit in the drive thru for an hour and 20 minutes but the order was messed up. My friend and I ordered 2 bean burritos each no onions extra cheese. And got those. Mine was dry as hell and didnt know bean burritos were grilled on the outside lol or came with meat and lettuce 🤦‍♂️😡 and they cost me making it home that night due to the hour and 20 minute wait. Staff is rude. And the management need to take accountability and make sure theyre properly staffed

I only use the drive-through, but the last time I was in side it was very clean and nice looking. The food is always good. Once in a while, the service is slow, but not often. There are, of course, lots of better dine-in restaurants for Mexican food, but this is a very good Taco Bell and they do a good job preparing the menu here. They are always friendly and they’ve never made a mistake on my order.

I ordered 2 mexican pizzas and they were both completely uncooked. They weren’t warm at all, the cheese wasn’t melted and the beans were disgustingly runny. They constantly serve uncooked food it’s disgusting.

The employees were great. The food was good except I ordered the dipping taco and they did not have it, even though it was on the kiosk. And thats another thing, nobody to take your order which I understand if you are understaffed. Even so the inside was dirty, and I dont just mean the tables, which we had to search for a clean one, but the floor, the drink area, the sauces and napkins were a mess. Usually I go through the drive thru and dont go inside to eat, so this may be normal.

I went through the Drive thru and they told me Only Mobile orders and pick up only like really l drove 10miles for this l will never go back to this Taco Bell. Its cool for all the people who are paying with a card but l only have cash on me l guess Cash isnt King at least not at this Taco Bell somebody should really get fired for that not everyone likes to pay with a card & if U ran out of the house with just cash in my phone case then dont go to this Taco Bell because theyre trying to go into the next millennium by themselves in my opinion and lm not about to waste my gas to drive to the other one like l did last time.

This has got to be the worst fast food restaurant ever. They are never open on time. They ignore individuals in the drive thru. Several times they have completely messed the order up. We have tried to stop by here one day a week for 2 breakfast items and half the time are unsuccessful. We are done.

This Taco Bell is the worst establishment in Chico for getting orders out in timely manner or acknowledging customers inside lobby. 2 people working taking 2 mins to make one taco and drink. Drive thru had 3 cars, one truck didn’t move entire time I was waiting on doordash order. Finally after 19 mins they were done with my order, when the employee brought up the order I asked how long for other order to be completed. He shrugged his shoulders said will get it to it when we do. We are working fast as we can. I had to unassigns multiple orders because they were already late This Taco Bell is understaffed and undertrained. I witnessed 6 people leave without getting acknowledged or getting orders. It’s a bad business module. Why stay open late if it takes 20 mins to complete an order. Why stay open late to ignore customers in drive thru, lobby and delivery service drivers who are picking up customers orders who paid online already.

Showed up around 720ish trying to make a $50+ dollar order. The worker pictured was busy in the parking lot arguing with a homeless person. We went inside and started making our order at the kiosk, we were more than halfway through adding our food when the employee comes back inside and informs us they are not taking lobby orders because they are understaffed but we are more than welcome to place a mobile order with the app... Annoying since I was being told I could use my phone but not the kiosk to make the same exact order when Im literally already standing there. I whip my phone out to do a mobile order and then we are told we cant be in the lobby at all.. so now we are being told to stop our kiosk order and stand outside to make a mobile order so that we can walk back inside to wait for it? The logic was not strong with this one. As we were leaving I asked him what his name was only to be stonewalled ignored, I asked a second time and straight up was told its none of your business. Ok dude.

Phillip - 20 something mustache with dark hair has been working the drive through lately. He has a hard time hearing customers over the intercom. I repeated myself 5 times and he couldn’t hear me, stopped speaking for about 2 minuets without any communication and had me order again, he still couldn’t hear me. I finally yelled my order did not say anything disrespectful or rude just yelled because I repeated myself 7 times. He laughed when I yelled so didn’t think there was an issue. When he handed me my food he stated “You know we don’t get paid enough to be disrespected like that.” I had explained where I was coming from and he was speaking over me and wouldn’t let me talk. I was scared that my food was spit in because phillip said I was being disrespectful so I went inside to return my food. I waited about 10-15 minutes and of course they had phillip helpMe. I politely asked for a manager and he yelled in front of me “manager we have an angry customer” while waiving his arms. I felt so disrespected and embarrassed. I wasn’t even angry just uncomfortable and no longer wanted my food. The manager refunded my food and heard me out but it doesn’t really seem like she cared which is understandable. My advice would be to train Philip to be more respectful if he is going to have a customer facing role. I understand that they don’t get paid that much but At least still be respectful to paying customers. Will not be going to this location again.

I always check my order here. Cant remember when I last got a correctly filled order. This time was missing the chips for the nachos, spoons for the potatoes and the soft taco was about a third full. They did supply the missing items and remake the taco quickly. So as long as you take the time to check, theyll fix it. Super friendly staff.

In the drive through sometimes it takes 5 minutes after you order to get your food, most times it takes 15+ minutes after you order. They do a good job on getting the special orders correct.

Okay, today was my first time going to this Taco Bell and boy was I dissatisfied. My cousin and I ordered a super simple snack with low expectations, I mean common, it’s Taco Bell they’re not gunna be perfect. But! I ordered a bean burrito with extra cheese and the only cheese that was on that burrito was in the very last bite very heartbreaking. Ordered a beefy five layer burrito with no sour cream thankfully didn’t get any sour cream but there was not even one scoop of stuff, legit mostly tortilla. Ordered a bag of cinnamon twists only twists no cinnamon, these are my favorite snack! I’m having a hard time right now and this broke my heart. But thankfully, I ordered nacho fries, they were seasoned and hot thank you very much for that I was very satisfied with the fries, but everything else completely ruined the experience. Never spending a single cent at any Taco Bell ever again. Not until these workers start WORKING! And just to add on my cousin left a $20 tip in cash because he was feeling nice. I feel betrayed.

Associate told me his name was Matthew on nights. He had me do 3 laps around the drive thru because the doordash i was picking up was not ready. Went to this Taco Bell about 3:30 PM. The drive through was being closed as we arrived. Went inside, and there were about 10 people waiting. One person working, one girl who closed the drive through. Nobody at the counter to help senior citizens.Very bad for business. I would call that poor management.Another time we went there, they did not have any meat or cheese. Just beans. The reason I gave this a 5 star is they were extremely busy because the power was out at the surrounding businesses. They were swamped!! They apologized for the wait and came over and took my order. The drive-through employee was friendly and nice. I kept asking for no onions on the Mexican Pizza and the drive-through employee kept saying no tomatoes. I was confused about that, but it got sorted out. There are no onions on the Mexican Pizza, although there used to be.I will say that $6 (with taxes) for a Mexican Pizza is a bit much and corporations are getting a bit too greedy with raising prices without improving quality.I had not been to Taco Bell in about 10 years, but I really wanted to see if quality had gone up, and I enjoy the Mexican Pizza.Im not sure I will ever go back to any Taco Bell unless it is the only place to eat. If they invest their profits into their products, I might go back, but corporations seem more interested in Yachts than quality products.

Trash location, always has been but it has steeped to even lower levels! Portion control utensils are not being used at all. Orders are consistently wrong, mods ignored even though you pay extra, missing items, incorrect times, you name it they do it! Never go inside, especially for mobile orders. One the place is always a mess, but point two is nobody will come to the counter. You can use the kiosk but definitely no ordering in person is available. Only reason I went to this one on East is because the app automatically set it to the store since I was closer than the 20th street location, and didnt notice till i saw my receipt. I knew I should have canceled but I havent been to he east location for a very long time and hoped it was better. Oh how things never change 🤣🙄 Youve been warned!

Took a long time to get my order, then they didnt add any sauce and when I went back in to ask for some hot sauce, it seemed like I was a burden for asking for what was on my mobile order. Then they handed me some fire sauce. Ultimately had to reach over and grab hot sauce myself. Overall, it was pretty chaotic and the person in charge was doing a scratcher ticket on the meal prep line and someone even told her you have the order for David to which she replied, no I dont, Im not doing anything. If I could give this Taco Bell zero stars I would! Ordered on the app last night, when I got there an employee laying out front on the sidewalk informed me the lobby was closed. Then he went back to sleeping without any efforts to help, so I called the store. The manager told me that they had my order and since I already paid, someone would bring it out to me. I waited out front for 40 minutes, NOTHING! So naturally, I called back. This time the same guy, now tells me I didnt just speak to him, they dont have any orders, the lobby is closed, and I must have ordered from someplace else. When I tried to get this resolved whether it be my food or a refund, he refused to help me and told me to deal with it online. The app has no way to get in touch with anyone right away, but I made a complaint and didnt receive any follow up, still no refund! Beyond unprofessional, this manager should at the very least be demoted after the way he handled this situation because Im sure its not the first time. It shouldnt be too much to ask for the food I ordered and paid for, or my money back. After last night, I will not be returning.

In my experience, the workers were weirdly rude when they forgot 3 items in MY order. I personally went in to ask politely for them, they then proceeded to belittle me and talked to me like I was lesser to them. I watched them as they remade my food, listening to them make fun of me as adults. How are you going to let your grown adult workers talk to a minor in such a disgusting and disrespectful way? This taco bell has had problems for a long time and its been hard for them to bounce back since the lockdown. But today was not appropriate. I was picking up a doordash that day, it was clear the staff were slammed, but the employees also looked BURNT out. They were making mistakes, frustrated, trying to catch up but they continued to struggle. It always takes me a long time to get my doordash orders here but I was waiting for over 25 minutes. Im writing this now as I still wait for my order. Multiple people from the drive through came in to get their orders corrected. Customers would have to come to the hall to get addressed since no one was at the front counter. But the worst part is the lobby was not clean. The floors were dirty and there was a very distinct smell of old urine in the lobby. To the point where even other people in the building were holding their noses. I dont say this to shame the employees. Theyre obviously understaffed and there was no leadership and organization for them. The management and owners need to practice better training and support for their staff. This kind of overarching problem isnt because of the day to day staff. This taco bell has ben AWFUL for a long time. The financers and heads of this taco bell need to do better.

Whe I first walked in there was a line at the counter, which no one was working. Staff would walk past customers without acknowledging anyone, let alone taking an order. I waited 45 minutes past when my order was supposed to be ready. They forgot my drinks, then made me wait another 10 minutes to get them. Customers that came in after me received their orders before I did. The lady that took my order before she went on break received her food before I did. I worked for Taco Bell when they first came out and when you ordered the Mexican pizza there was cilantro in it. My boyfriend and I have lived by this taco bell for many years, so we have gone probably once or twice a month most months. I keep my expectations at zero, but my boyfriend still has hope every time only for it to be crushed as they have gotten our order fully correct maybe 10% of the time, and thats being generous. Then, as you can see in the reviews, it got a million times worse after covid and is still as bad as everybody says. Skip this taco bell for sure. Cherry on top- about two months ago I went inside the taco bell and the cashier was doing a shift change or something, which is fine, and told me it would be a minute. But.. they never came back and the 6+ people making food and doing drive thru seemed to think I was standing at the counter to admire their idiocy. It took ~10 minutes for somebody to finally come take my order, and it was clear they hadnt just not realized I hadnt been helped. They simply didnt care at all.(Im not sure if it was 10 minutes, because just standing there makes time seem to pass much slower, but it was AT LEAST seven or so times longer than one should ever spend waiting for an order to be taken at a taco bell, especially with how many people were working. I was ordering 2 items... would have taken a minute or less to do the whole transaction, but they couldnt find the time as they were too busy failing tremendously at being decent employees, as usual at that location.)

This is not a review of the food but of the customer service. The girl who helped me was doing such a good job. She has shorter (reddish?) hair. This poor girl had herself and 2 other workers, all while taking care of dine in/Togo orders, online orders AND drive thru. Both cherry and Baja slushies werent working (it was a sweltering day) BUT she had the BEST attitude. Every interaction with myself and others I witnessed she was calm and so sweet. Ive eaten there quite a few times with no complaints and no rave reviews. Just Taco Bell. However, the last time I was there, their registers were down, so I was encouraged to use the kiosk if I had a debit card. I did so, ultimately falling .30 short, which I had in my pocket. The manager declined the .30 and I was assured the order was canceled. I tried to order again minus an item, but I was declined. I ended up leaving with a free cup of water. Two weeks later, while checking my transactions, i noticed i was indeed charged $7.42. A few days later I happened to be in the neighborhood so I popped in to see about settling up. I was told there was nothing they could do, and offered me a taco. A SEVEN DOLLAR AND FORTY TWO CENT TACO!! I decided to go a different route to get my moneys worth. As soon as they make this customer happy, I will be back to no complaint-no rave review status. Until then they are on my S--T list.

This Taco Bell has went waaaay downhill since COVID. They have random days where they close early, some days only the drive through is open, some days they only accept card payments, and some days they only accept cash payments. Its incredibly inconsistent. There always seems to be some issue. Theyve also raised prices quite a bit over the last year. Fast food is supposed to be cheap and convenient. This was a Friday, about 15 minutes after 1. The place was packed and very busy. The staff was doing an impressive job of keeping up with the high demand. The staff was also very polite and attentive. I want to single out a particular employee who was preparing the food just behind the registers. She was working very fast and diligently and it seemed she was filling all these orders all by herself. I know the rest of the kitchen of course helped, but I was simply impressed with her sense of urgency. They get rid off popular items, and replace with unproven items. They show you an inconsistent menu that carries 40% of what they offer, just to sell more of the expensive food items, and keep you away from the dollar menu. Depending on the crew working, you may or may not receive the items you asked for, they way you asked for it. The box meals sound good, but you really arent saving that much money. The BEST item for your money would be the 12 pack of tacos for $9.99. If you dont have a Del Taco in town, eat here, otherwise if youre going for cheap tacos, go to Jack in the Box. I ordered my food and the person who took the order was extremely efficient and had great customer service in her voice reading back my order with accuracy. When arriving at the window the credit card machine did not work the young lady asked if I had another form of payment as if my card was declined. Ill let her know the third literally thousands of dollars on the card but there is another card I gave her my credit card and she asked if there was it again another form of payment. Really !? You expect me to remember a visit to Taco Bell that was 3 months ago ? At best I can speculate...since I dont really care for the food there in general. But I can tell you this...I have been wanting to try their new nacho fries (I hear theyre good !) Although word has it you need an extra cup of the nacho cheese in order to have it last through ghe whole serving of fries. They were a hit with the gal who told me and she also recommended ordering one of their new skittles slushy type drink. They taste just like skittles and are the perfect refreshment when paired with the Spicy (adobo) fries and Nacho cheese. There you have it.

Very slow service, but friendly staff for the most part. Randomly an employee threw a deep fryer basket out the backdoor. They were also out of the main taco shell used in crunch wraps.
