2 weeks in a row I was handed a clearly over carbonated beverage with little to no syrup. Anyone working at Taco Bell for more than 5 minutes knows Baja Blast is bright green, not clear. Its scummy to try to pass these off to people in the drive thru who have no way to correct the issue once they leave the window.

Place was clean, visible crew working cohesively to get the order correct. We ordered a Grilled Burrito Box and with NO MEAT on any items and asked for extra Onions in the items and the order was delivered perfectly. Two add on drinks and one with the box. The server asked if we wanted an extra drink that was made at no cost and we gladly took it. There were a few couples dining inside while we came to make our order to go. Will definitely come back here. 5 stars for the crew and their cheerful attitude.👍👍

If the bathrooms are always that disgusting and never cleaned, I wonder what the kitchen looks like...I was in town a few days and stopped in 3 times to eat and every time the bathrooms were the same and absolutely disgusting. If thats where employees wash their hands, the health department needs called. I ended up walking out the last time and not even ordering. It was over 24 hours and the bathrooms were the same mess.

For so long we gave this Taco Bell a grace period to work better and faster. They have disappointed us greatly, you can tell that the workers are not proud of the work they do, but the quality is not good not much inside, very little lettuce and not much meat at all. It happened a few times and more expensive now. Laziness on all levels.

The service at this location is slow..the drive through line always extends into the parking lot..blocking entry to other nearby business’..definitely an eat in car location..expect to wait for that thin beefy frito burrito..

11-5-22: Updated review-This place has gone severely downhill. They serve about 4 drive-through vehicles for every dining customer, so dine-in takes forever. A Nacho Taco Supreme is now $3.39ea, and its a joke. There was about 6 grated pieces of cheese on it, 1/8 of meat, a dollop of sour cream, and the rest was lettuce x 2 of these. The Mexican Pizza didnt fully make it into the box, so it broke, and the amount of meat on it was pathetic. $20 meal for 2 that was worth maybe $5. We ordered dine-in, and they bagged up our order. 4 tacos in the bag...not wrapped well, and put in upside down. Taco Bell has always been my favorite fast food. Sadly not anymore. Inflation has hurt and we dont eat out very often. It will no longer be at Taco Bell in Placerville.

Be warned: Multiple people have stated this place doesnt give refunds! If something is wrong with your food, they will not refund you!I just want the world to know that Tracy Voong (area manager) sells garbage food out of her restaurants and refuses to refund you.If you ever have a problem here, you will have to contact corporate directly to twist their arm into refunding you.

Terrible wait. Over 30 minutes for food. We felt so bad for the poor supervisor who was trying her best to accommodate orders. Obviously short staffed. Incorrect food but there was no way we were going back to the counter because of the extremely long wait. Taco Bell needs to reevaluate the supervisor role and provide adequate staffing for her. Its not fair that she doesnt get her breaks while other employees do and she obviously goes beyond to help customers.

Friendly people, not 1 but 2 actual Thank yous from employees. Small clean lobby and tables were clean as well. Food was available promptly and was made with fresh ingredients. Plenty of parking and the drive thru appeared to move consistently along. Its one of the better Taco Bells that Ive been in a period over the last 12 months.

Being a vegetarian, I have noticed take out orders are usually with meat though I specifically callout for veg mexican pizza or burrito. To my Surprises even the Dine-in order came with meat. It indeed was intentional, as my mexican pizza had bean on half of the pizza and meat on other half.No apologiesfor theirmistake.Taco bell is definitely a big NO for me.

Line is long and slow every time. If you order online you need to use the arduously slow drive through as they don’t allow walk ins. If they get your order wrong you are stuck in a 30 minute line again. For the price there are many other options for a better price in my opinion.

I am a recent transplant and living in beautiful Placerville.I have family that lives in the bay area. I was on my way back home (early May 2023), from visiting my parents and it took me four hours to get to Placerville, twice as long as what it normally takes. I was hungry and tired, wanted something quick.I will echo what many people have posted here…I stopped at the Placerville Taco Bell for the first time and it was a terrible experience.I ordered a Nachos Bell Grande and a Burrito Supreme.Prices are higher, portions are smaller and the quality is zero. This will be my first and last time at this particular Taco Bell.The young man making my food was more interested in socializing with coworkers than focusing on two food items.I just wanted to get home and unpack, etc.The nachos Bell grande had no beef or tomatoes on it. It was mainly refried beans and a squirt of nacho cheese and sour cream. I didn’t ask for no beef or tomatoes.The burrito supreme, just as bad. Mainly refried beans, one tiny piece of beef that was way over seasoned with taco seasoning, two tiny little strips of lettuce, and about two small diced onions and zero sour cream.I called to talk to the manager Brianna. She was very nice and seemed surprised about my botched food order. I only complained about the nachos Bell grande and not the burrito supreme.This seems to be more common in practice what I experienced and based upon numerous reviews I have read, sharing the same experience, and should not be a surprise to a supervisor or manager. But I will give her the benefit of the doubt.I was offered a remake for free, and I seriously doubt I will take up that offer.Also, the food was not quick and took a long time.All fast food restaurants are going downhill rapidly.I do not recommend this Taco Bell.

The shop/service itself I have no complaints about. The staff has never gotten our order wrong when we do go. The biggest downside to this Taco Bell is the location. Its in an old town with an old design, yet it is one of the most popular fast food places to stop at in the area (especially on the way to Tahoe). If youre not pressed for time, then this is a good stop.

Ordered dessert of Cinnamon buns for after dinner treat. Delivery time was excellent. Order was completely wrong. Received 4 soft tacos instead. Receipts were all correct. Apparently they dont look at order before the driver picks ut up. As I said delivery driver was excellent. Preparation and follow thru from Taco Bell missed the mark.

Update: this place is extremely understaffed. What’s the point of putting in an order on the app if you have to wait 15 mins in line just to let them know you’re here. They always have the lobby shut even for mobile orders.I mean to leave a review every time I come here but always forget. This location gets it right 99.9% of the time! I come here a few times a month and have a ton of modifications due to dietary needs. They always get every detail right. The only time they got it wrong I’m pretty sure they just accidentally gave me the wrong bag. I appreciate the attention to detail while also getting the orders done quickly. They’ve proven themselves so many times I don’t have to check the bag when I receive it. Thank you!

We have frequented this location for 27-years - we will never be back. I was verbally accosted my a smart mouthed teenager. She was reluctant to give out sauce packets and I mentioned this place has really changed. She then snapped it was my job to be clear. I told her no, it was her job, and the fight escalated from there. Then an older woman, who was also an employee, came over with her hands in the air like this was a prize fight. I asked for the large girls name and was told they dont have to tell the customer that info. I asked her how was I supposed to Tell the Bell if they dont give out names? Fifteen dollars an hour and they can say whatever insult they choose with no repercussions - wow, I want that job! Which is why Ive referred to them as large and old. Really Taco Bell? Is this what we can expect when you pay employees $15/hour and raise the cost of your food? This used to be a bustling location where it was tough to get a seat during lunch hour - which is when we were there. Two tables were occupied when we came in, with zero tables occupied when we left. Also, zero cars in the drive through. We will never be back and suggest you do the same!

Everytime my friend and I drove past this Tacobell the drive through line was insane. Way longer then the McDonalds right next door. He used to say I swear that Tacobell must be selling crack with its food, then line is always so long... well I decided to check it out for myself.... I went around 8 pm... the line had 2 people in front of me. I got to the speaker and ordered my 1 bean burrito and 2 crunchy taco supreme... after I pulled forward from the speaker little did I know that I would remain in this line until 8:45. When I pulled up to the window, I paid then waited for about 15 min (at the window) all to watch a handful of teenagers (6 on shift to be exact) socialize while just 1 actually worked (making food). The rest were standing around talking or play fighting each other... so if the line at this particular tacobell looks long, I hope you have time to kill and are not starving, on a limited lunch break or anything else that would keep you from wasting your life away. To say the least, ill be going to McDonalds next door. That line moves fast!

I just ordered a iced coffee and a cheesy bean and rice burrito, and it was delicious. My iced coffee was the perfect amount of sweetness and creamer I needed. I will admit they are having staffing issues because of the wait in the drive thru was pretty long. But the good food and drink made up for it. I love taco bell and this place is absolute garbage. The employees have no urgency or common sense. They were yelling at each other asking who is doing what. At one point they said “Is anybody working drive thru??” The line was wrapped around the store when I looked outside. I was missing two items in my order and every single item I did get was cold. Luckily we were dining in so I was able to correct it, but man. They weren’t understaffed either, there were a ton of them there but just doing nothing. They made someone’s order twice because they don’t talk to each other. Another woman left and came back and her order STILL wasn’t ready. Someone I came with had ingredients missing in her burrito. This was just in ONE visit. If this is the first taco bell I’d ever been to I would never go back. They should shut it down honestly 😅

My family and I love to treat ourselves to Taco Bell from time to time. However not having the lobby open is frustrating. I understand that theyre understaffed but their drive-thru line gets so long that sometimes you end up waiting in it for 45 minutes. They need to get some more help there, and they need to make it easier on their employees.I feel so badly for the employees because they get yelled at, treated badly, and its not fair because its not their fault theyre understaffed. With the Lobby closed you either have to just deal with not getting all of your food, or the wrong food or you have to go get back in the Drive-Thru line because if you knock on the door people are too busy to talk Ill come and help you.The workers are so stressed, over worked and treated badly by frustrated customers, its unfair. The amount of business they are loosing due to these things, should be noticed by corporate and they should do something about it.

This Taco Bell seems to move at slower than a snails pace everytime I go. They always have a line wrapped around the parking lot and even if youre only 3 cars behind odds are youll be there 30 min. When you get your order a majority of the time its wrong and the other half things are missing or sloppily made. Their employees never offer anything for taking days to make your food even with having 6 employees inside. Not to mention the lobby is closed 24/7 and if your food is wrong odds are youre going to be waiting in the outrageous drive thru line AGAIN! As much as i love Taco Bell this location gets 3 stars from me because every time ive went to it, the inside is closed and its only available for drive thru. That wouldnt be a problem if they had faster drive thru times. After ordering ive had to wait 20 minutes or longer numerous times, and there will only be 3 cars in front of you at that point. But once you get your food it at least will taste like it should, and that is the only good thing.

Update: So the drive through still takes well over 30 minutes but, alas, theyve finally learned how to read modifications on mobile app orders. Last night it took exactly 45 minutes to get the lukewarm burrito I foolishly ordered on the mobile app.. but at least it was made correctly.... I guess. They have closed their lobby and at any given time there are at least 10 cars in the drive-through. Plan on spending at least 20 minutes waiting in line and then they don’t make your order until you get to the window… So there’s another 10 minutes. I ended up getting a one hard shell taco and one burrito in my bag and that was it. They did not fulfill rest of my order. Your store in Placerville, CA needs to be shut down. I ordered a bean burrito and beefy griller. In the 20 minutes I was waiting for my food, I had a clear view into the food prep area. The final straw was watching an employee wash her hands for about five seconds, then head to food prep. Her button down shirt was rolled up to her forearms, and as she was a short person, when she leaned to grab sauces from the back, her sleeves were dragging across the food she was making. Then she had to lean forward to grab something from the middle, and her entire front pressed onto the food she was making and the prepping area. And the entire state of the food prep area was a disaster. I knew I wouldnt be able to eat the food after seeing this, and left without even trying for a refund, as that would have taken even more time from my day.

Service is normally fast but Im here now at 9:48pm waiting for an order I made at 9:22pm with only one other person in the room. Dont know if there was a call in order or what but this is crazy.

Would serve friends of the manager inside after 10:05 but not 5 customers with a trailer unable to use the drive thru. It sucks this place doesnt like to feed paying customers.
