Im starting to wonder if everything in this two-tiered strip mall is excellent? I stopped into Tahntawan on the advice of a client I was working for in the nearby canals neighborhood. I was not disappointed. The seafood chowder made for an excellent lunch. Mussels, squid, fish and shrimp in an excellent coconut broth. If Im being totally honest the squid was a little overdone but not enough to stop me from enjoying it. Cool atmosphere with good music rounded out the seaside vibe.

Now this place is called Kara Thai. This Place has changed!!!! It use to have bigger portions especially for the crab fried rice! The Short Rib Panang use to come with more short rib &rice included too!!! Now everything is smaller portions and they dont include rice you must buy separately. Such a disappointment 😞 I use to love this place, I wish the original owners never left!

What a great find! We absolutely loved the food at this Thai restaurant! The yellow chicken curry was delicious! The Golden Egg Rolls among the best & the Crab Fried Rice Excellent! Amazing flavors! We enjoyed CK our server also! Neat Eclectic Decor!

I am incredibly disappointed I ordered fried rice with beef and it came with four pieces of beef. I ordered the red curry and it came with all bamboo and only a few pieces of chicken. I feel bamboozled. The steamed rice was wet and overcooked. We ordered calamari as well and it was literally all batter with only seven pieces of calamari. With these prices that we’re paying I should expect at least some kind of decent portion of protein but this was not the case.

Fantastic Thai food, very thoughtful owners and theyre working hard during COVID-19 to provide the best dining experience possible. Limited patio dining on second floor overlooks surroundings. Authentic enough to pass for real Thai food. Chef also cooks Vietnamese pho and Chinese cusine. Great little place to try.

I ordered here via Uber eats but this place called itself Vegan Thai Kitchen. Im not a fan of existing restaurants making up fake new name in order to disguise their ratings on Google & Yelp. Being a new place with no previous ratings & being a supposedly all vegan restaurant. This is a shady practice which is why Im providing 1 star. If not for this, I would have provided a higher score. I thought the food was decent or average. Portions and price were ok as well.

This food was good. But it was just good. The flavors weren’t there for me. Red curry was good but I couldn’t taste those traditional flavors in comparison to other local places. We’ve been on a Thai food search and have tried all the ones around Marina Del Rey. The food was average, there’s simply too much competition. It’s worth a try as everyone’s taste buds are different.

Wow, great staff and fantastic Thai food with many vegan options! Their soups remind you of being in Thailand, fresh and rich in flavor. Their outdoor seating area is really nice, with a terrace garden too!

This is a good spot if you’re in a pinch and want a lot of food for an affordable price. flavor wise I don’t think it’s my favorite Thai food ever but nothing crazy or disappointing either. plus the family who runs the restaurant is v cute

AMAZING and made to order. Seriously folks, they make everything from scratch ! Seafood pad Thai is out of this world. VEGAN FRIENDLY. Fresh ingredients and amazing prices. The owner used to have a Vegan restaurant so he knows plant based. The meats and seafood has great flavors - great Thai flavors for anyone who has been to Thai Land. and The staff is really friendly and really knowledgeable about the food. Also love the Sake and drinks!

Ate here 3 days in a row. Red, yellow, green curries are terrific. Spice levels what you ask for. Service is really nice and food comes out fast. I don’t understand why this place isn’t standing room only, must be because it’s upstairs. Great outdoor seating area. No problem parking on a Monday night. Tofu in curries is not fried. Egg rolls are not greasy. Prices are reasonable. Thanks folks!

The customer service was welcoming and professional. The restaurant was so decorative with pillows and comfortable benches and chairs. It was so inviting to come in and sit down. Came here on a Friday night to eat on the outdoor patio and had no wait. The food came out quick. We got the thai fried chicken wings for appetizer that had such a yummy sweet and sour dipping sauce. I got the yellow curry with chicken - SO GOOD. My partner got the pad thai and had no complaints. For dessert, we got the mango sticky rice which had pandan flavored rice. Everything was delicious!

Not a tasty food at all.Chicken pho was the worst on my list.Chicken pad Thai smelled like fish, my daughter was able eat only carrots.Server asked if my food was ok and I told them no but it didn’t change anything she smiled and left asking me if I mixed it.

I came here to pick up a delivery that was placed about 40mins before I went to pick it up . The place was empty and only two customers were dining in there so it wasn’t busy. I arrive and I ask about my order and she looks at her tablet and makes a shocking face which let me know she never accepted the order or even put it in. She tells me it will be a 10-15min wait. It turned to a 25 minute wait. Not to mention the way they stack the food Was very bad they just placed it on top of the other foods they didn’t separate the soup and the soup was not even closed right and the container is so flimsy it made the wonton soup Tilt and spill all over my car. 👎

Definitely recommend! The food was great and the atmosphere at the restaurant was really nice. We sat outside on the patio and really enjoyed ourselves! The curry was delicious and the pad Thai was fantastic.

The food was so so, we came here on a recommendation from someone but the food was dry. I had to ask for sweet and sour glaze to put on my Orange chicken to help with the dryness. The soup had an odd smell and Crumpet couldnt finish the deep fried fish meal she got. Sarava said the shrimp curry was okay. The only thing that sort of stood out was the crab rangoon appetizer. Overall it was a disappointing experience...

Tom Ka soup wasnt the greatest, they used the button mushrooms instead of straw mushrooms - also no chilli which made the soup just taste sour. Anyway the pad thai was ok. Service was awful probably my worst experience in Venice so far.

Loved the food, kool location with a view. Prices were decent especially for the area. My son and I shared a bowl of noodles w beef and ate it up w a light left to take w us. Well worth the visit and diffinitly plan to go back. Just do me a favor and if the lady serving isnt smiling try and make her laugh, she was kool just needed a little boost.

Visiting California googled where can I find crispy duck they sent me to this location so I go and order pineapple fried rice and honey duck which is crispy duck with honey sauce I return back to my hotel across the street from the location the Marriott in Marina del Rey opened up my food I saw that it was roasted duck don’t have a problem because I like duck so I bite the roasted duck the middle of it is frozen the most horrible experience ever I take the duck back to the location the man response is would you like me to make you crispy duck they gave me back my money but that is the most horrible experience I’ve ever had In the middle of the pineapple rice was cold as well not sure what the situation was but they had a bad day that day
