Absolutely adorable cozy and affordable. Seriously one of the best places Ive ever stayed in South Lake Tahoe and the views cant be beat. We got a full beach view from our room on the private Beach area that the hotel has. The rooms are super comfy and the perfect cabin vibes. My only reason I didnt give it a full five stars is while the very outside of the hotel has been renovated and the rooms are kept clean and nice you can tell shes a little old. Its not a deal breaker but the carpets definitely could be used to replace and some of the rooms to have a little bit more paint on them and a few more upgrades like a microwave in the room. However other than that everything was fantastic. For it not being an upscale Hotel the beds were Beyond comfortable. My husband and I just spent our mini honeymoon here this last weekend and it was perfect. Upon reservation we did mention that and when we arrived the staff had left champagne glasses and a signed card from all the staff congratulating us on our wedding. It was a very welcome Special Touch. Well we cant speak for busy season cuz we did just go up in the off season the hotel was fairly quiet and there was plenty of room on the private beach as well as enjoying our patios uninterrupted. The staff was great super helpful and the hotel provides after hours check in for late arrivals which was super convenient for us given our arrival time wasnt until almost 2:00 in the morning on Saturday. This is a must stay and cant be beat you we cant say enough good things about our stay here this weekend.
We loved it here. They upgraded our room for free to have a full size kitchen and put us on the top floor. There is an elevator! You can tell the hotel is older but it was amazing for the price. We stayed in winter (off season) and there was plenty of parking and the hotel was quiet. Cute winter/holiday decorations in front and in the back around the pool. The bed was comfortable. Clean white sheets. Carpet is old. And bathroom is older but clean. Was comfortable showering barefoot. Room heated up fast with fire place heating, set to the thermostat. Vibey and warm! Beach and lake view was amazing from the third floor and on the ground too. Room had a small deck with chairs. Wide sliders to give you an amazing view from the room. Black out sheets worked well in the morning. TV had Free movies to choose from. Not a large selection but did have some good oldies. Fire pit on the sand gave off a lot of heat. Plenty of parking in the winter time. Staff was very friendly and helpful with local suggestions. Water available in the lobby. Also cliff bars.
Literally just checked into this place and already we have had a phenomenal experience. The room is clean and the view is amazing. Looking forward to a relaxing weekend here and a trip to their spa!
The place is great for its price. What you get inside the room is decent and okay. The bed is queen so it’s not the biggest. You get the best view to the South Lake Tahoe from your room, so I add a massive recommendation for that.
Great location! You can see the lake from the patio and it’s so beautiful. We have volleyball and fire pit on the lakeshore and it feels so cozy.The front desk are welcoming and friendly, and they are very helpful whenever I ask questions.The only problem is I can hear the noise next door. But overall I’m really satisfied with this place.
I would definitely stay again, nice room with a cabin feel. Pool and hot tub were a great temperature in December with beautiful lake views. Excellent accommodations for the price. I’d like to return in the summer to enjoy the beachfront and lake!
ALERT: dangerous furnace melted $1000 ski boots!I visited this hotel for a ski trip. The location, room, and service are all good. But the heating system is a huge let down. The only heat source is a furnace. I didnt change the thermostat settings. The furnace was very weak, barely noticeable when I check in.At 4AM in the morning, I was woken up by the excessive heat from the furnace. It toasted the entire room.My $1000 custom fitted ski boots were placed 2 ft away and completely melted. And the hotel doesnt want compensate for my loss. Even my phone charger placed not far away was also melted.There was no warning from the hotel about the furnace. And I didnt even touch the thermostat. It is the hotels responsibility to keep away of the potential danger
The location is great, and the back door of your room (1st floor) opens right on the lake. The volleyball net and a fireplace is awesome to have in the cold evenings. The only thing I missed was complementary breakfast, but it is so close to lot of eateries that it was not that big of a deal. Rooms are clean and staff very courteous. Will stay again whenever we come again to Lake Tahoe. Highly recommended!!
My wife and I spent 2 wonderful nights here this past March. Our 3rd floor corner room provided us with a spectacular view of the lake, the room was very spacious and comfortable, and the gas fireplace kept us cozy. It’s a great location, and delightfully quiet, since we faced the lake, away from any street noise. We had made reservations months in advance, before anyone knew what an epic winter snowfall Tahoe was going to get. We were lucky to catch a window of somewhat settled weather (end of March). We’re excited to stay here again when we get the chance.

Really good hotel! Sauna and hot water pool in the price. Not the “luxury” type one, but the one that provides you with the services you’ll need. Also Great Lake view from the room.
Great location. All of the rooms have full views of the lake. The shape of the buildings creates a private enclave-atmosphere. Older construction. The halls are a little worn/banged up (true of most ski-town lodging) but our room and public spaces were clean and comfortable. Definitely want to stay here again.
This was the best hotel/ location I have stayed at in Lake Tahoe. I needed a rest after taking care of my 93 year old mom for several months and this hotel was perfect. The staff was extremely cheerful and helpful. It was a pleasure to stay here. I was in room 217 for 4 nights and the view of the lake from the room and the balcony was gorgeous.I could hear very little noise from other rooms. That may be different in the summer, but it was perfect in early October.I would have used the on site spa, but for some very concerning reviews on various sites.
Terrible customer support/service. Unreasonable cancelation policy. Beware, you will be charged a full night plus taxes and fees if you have to cancel due to an unforseen storm, which will prevent you from traveling to Tahoe.Predicting the weather in the time that they give you for cancelation is unrealistic. They have lost my business and any future business that my company would have given them.
Got late into Lake Tahoe and decided to stay here for a night, to experience the snow. This place was a good choice and it looked well prepared to handle it too.
Outstanding lake view (if your room has this) - the lake is very beautiful (surrounded by mountains) and great sunsets. The rooms and the hotel are dated but comfortable. The employees were friendly. The price is very reasonable for Lake Tahoe. We had a Lodge Corner View Kitchen Suite so we had a clear view of the lake from our room and balcony. First floor rooms have a shared balcony but this was not a problem as no one else was on their balcony. The second and third floor have separated balconys. The kitchen and cookware was also very dated but worked and allowed us to heat up some meals. I would return here but again it is for the view, the room will not win any awards but works. Note that there are rooms that do not have any view, or are recessed back and do not have a sunset view, confirm what you are booking.
You just cant beat rooms with balconies facing Lake Tahoe and a private beach! The building is somewhat older and could use some renovations, but I dread the day as the owners could ask for way more money for such a fabulous location. Very friendly staff. Walking distance or short drive to a variety of top notch restaurants. Bar None: best value on lake Tahoe! My wife and I stayed for 4 nights for our anniversary. It was one the best vacations weve ever had!
The building is old and outdated but I still liked it, it was like a nostalgia feeling. Room is big, clean and the bed is comfortable. The location could not be better, a private lake beach for you at a few steps from your room. The pool is nice too.
Our stay was amazing, came into our room with a little note and bottle of wine from the staff for celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary here! Love that we have access to the lake. The kids had a blast in the pool and jacuzzi. The view from our room made waking up so peaceful and calm! Also got a massage package when booking our room online, and that was a relaxing experience for sure! We will be back for future vacations for sure! 10/10 recommend!

Great location in South lake Tahoe with private beach. Only issue was bathroom. Its small and shower water pressure was too high. It felt like needles piercing through skin. There was no way to adjust it. We wanted to change dates 24 hours before check in but they refused. So dont expect any flexibility from management.
Perfect location! Place is very old but clean. Our main issue was the thermostat. It was impossible to set and maintain a comfortable temperature. The heating stays on passed the set temperature. My conclusion was that thermostat is bad. We also had noise problem. We could pretty much hear people having a conversation, kids crying etc next door. Thankfully they were quiet after 10pm.I also thought that the establishment wasted a lot of gas keeping the outdoor gas fire on all day long when there was nobody around.
Good location, and almost all of the rooms have Lakeview. The facility has an antique elevator and locking systems, but it is great for people who love antique items. The kids would enjoy using those items. The staff are very friendly. The lake shore is good, but it is close to drainage. So the water in front of the lodge was not clean enough.
I have stayed with my family in the Tahoe Lakeshore Lodge & Spa during our Tahoe vacation. We had a wonderful time.
I have never seen a beach so empty on tahoe. There were plenty of guests however the hotel has a large private beachfront and it had more than enough room for us to relax and not be crowded. The water was most clear early morning before people start to stir it up.We stayed in a partial lake view room and it was a great size. The bed was pretty hard and it was hot in there. They provided fans but that did not do us much relief. I’m hoping they installed AC in all rooms since our last visit because we would love to come back.
Great location, right on the shoreline. Rooms are robust and practical. Easy check-in.Walls are paper thin, so noise can be an issue. Theres a TV in the room with 600 channels of adverts. A real looking gas fire and a fridge are also included.
Had a pleasant stay. We had a room with the kitchen which was super convenient.Location is excellent and close Heavenly gondola, CVS and Safeway. Room size is decent and the 2 queen size beds were comfortable for the kids.Checkin and checkout was very smooth. Thanks to the staff for the wonderful stay.
Such a cute and cozy hotel! The room was clean, the view amazing, and the hot tub and heated pool were a fun time in the cool weather. 😁The walls are a little thin, but it was quiet as soon as quiet hours started (10pm) so it wasnt really a problem for sleeping!Will definitely stay here again!
Good spot to stay, wife an I TRY to make it an annual stay in South Lake Tahoe, they do have multiple room units. We always get the single room unit. This has single room, full bathroom, full kitchen, fire place, and a living room with a small back porch looking out toward the lake right in the back area... great for kids to play because the beach areas basically enclosed VIA the lodge. Front counters very pleasant an always helpful especially if somethin in the room malfunctions or goes aray.... we stayed Thursday evening to Sunday afternoon an wife paid about $950. Other nice thing is SAFWAYS across the STREET and HEIDIS RESTAURANT is 3 minute walk from the LODGE for some good old school breakfast.
We had our 2023 New Years celebration in this gorgeous lodge. The rooms are great, especially for those who appreciate the rustic style cabins with a fireplace and furniture made of real wood. The view of the Lake Tahoe is amazing. The staff was very friendly and professional. Overall, a fantastic experience, especially considering the very reasonable price tag. If youre looking for a nice cozy place to stay during your Lake Tahoe adventure, look no further! 10/10
We were gifted a room and massage from a friend as our wedding gift. Upon arrival the check in process was chaos. Should not have been an issue as the room and massage were prepaid for with notes about it according to the girl at the desk. There should have been zero issue whatsoever. The no AC is not great either definitely needs some updates in the hotel. We checked out the next morning to find that they charged our card for the remainder of the amount even after the whole process we dealt with the day before which affected our vacation fund since we’ve sat here for 4 days now with 230.00 pending out of our account. According to the desk there is “nothing they can do on their end once pending”. Our card was never to be charged anyway. The lack of care is what’s the most frustrating part as no one bothered to read the note attached to our reservation before just charging a card.
When we go to South Shore Tahoe we usually stay at the Marriott or a Condo but we came down a couple days early due to the weather and found this gem. The Lake Shore Lodge and Spa is not a fancy hotel, most of the corridors are external and weathered but thats not why you come here. You come here for the absolutely stunning view. Every single room has the most beautiful view of Lake Tahoe Ive ever seen from a hotel room and also a large deck to enjoy it from. The staff was great and we were lucky enough to get a corner room with a view that would make Your mouth drop. It was blissful to wake each morning to the gorgous lake and our cozy fire place. An unobstructed 24/7 view of the Lake is something thats hard to come by for a reasonable price. The beds were surprisingly comfortable too. I slept really well and I was in a 2 Queen room with my 3 kids! Our little kitchen at was perfect, we had everything we needed to cook simple meals. It saved us a lot of money.Because the view is what really made this vacation for me I cant imagine wanting to stay anywhere else no matter what the amenities. I could live in this hotel and never get tired of it. After we left we and moved into our condo which had 2 bedrooms. I really missed the coziness of our queen room where we were constantly giggling and playing games and spending time together. Whether you are coming in the summer or the Winter Tahoe Lakeshore lodge offers something few other hotels do at that price point. I cant imagine wanting to stayanywhere else in south shore. I cant wait to get back!
The room is well cleaned. Amenities are at our need. Cozy atmosphere in cold spring day gave us good vibes. Staff are helpful and kind. Our kids were so happy and even asked to stay for more nights.
We just stayed here this last weekend. The service was great! The view from the room was amazing! Yes, this is a 3 star hotel and there are areas that feel outdated. I looked at a lot of hotels and for the price this is a great option. I do recommend to the hotel that they get new carpet in the lobby area, that would help with first impressions. Our room itself felt much nicer than the lobby which was a great feeling when we first walked in. We could hear the people above us walking around, like a creaking noise, which was kind of annoying. There are blemishes if you want to look hard enough but the view from the room, the location, the pool and spa right on the beach, the good service, and the price make up for it. I would definitely come again.
This place was amazing. The room had a cozy cabin feel to it. I was expecting a kitchenette, but was surprised to see a full working kitchen complete with stove. The location is great, the view from our room beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. My wife is already planning our next trip.
Horrible experience! Stay away from these crooks! If you decide to stay here make sure to take a detailed video of the entire room before leaving as they will jam you up with charges and cleaning fees that are completely unwarranted! After leaving they called me and said they were going to charge me 250$ for a tv that was broken that was not broken when I left! They also charged me another 100$ on top of the 100$ incidental fee they charge when you check in for “excessive cleaning”. Beyond some food on the floor from my kids eating from their high chairs I’m not sure what would have constituted an “excessive” cleaning fee. Furthermore the stay was horrible due to them having NO AC! It was impossible to sleep at night with the room feeling like it was 100 degrees. At time of check in I came by myself with my two kids and asked someone at the front desk if I could have some help to my room with my belongings, the woman up front said ok they would and I waited by my truck for 15 minutes before giving up and lugging all my belongings up to the second floor condo by myself. Save yourself the headaches, sanity, and money and stay far away from this unprofessional establishment!
The good: Location. Right off of the main highway, close to anything you need. The private beach was great & is what you are paying for. It was very nice walking out of our room onto the beach, especially when all of the Tahoe public beaches were so crowded that we couldnt even get in. The water on this side of the lake is not the deep blue or emerald green you see elsewhere & there was a lot of moss in the water but once you walked out into the water a little bit the moss wasnt so bad. The hotel has beach chairs you can use for free on a first come basis. They do not have any kayaks or paddle boards available for guests which would have been really nice if they did. They refer you to a marina where if you mention their name they get a kick back. There is a small place within walking distance that you can rent them. The heated pool was nice, clean and perfect temperature. The hot tub was also nice. We also enjoyed the firepit. They had music on the beach on of the nights we were there & that was a lot of fun.The not so good: We stayed in a regular queen room, no kitchenette. The rooms are very dated. Although the bedframe, bedside table & dresser is nice, everything else needs an upgrade. The paint is dark making the room dark & dingy looking. It could use a fresh coat of brighter paint. The lampshades are also dark/dingy looking. It would probably help some if they would put some brighter LED lights in them. The carpet could stand to be replaced. There is no air conditioning here. They do provide a fan which provided some relief but there were times it was definitely stuffy in the room. The shower had good water pressure & the water was always hot. The exterior of the hotel could use an update. Kind of looks like a Motel 6. We only had housekeeping come in once during our 6 day stay.Overall we enjoyed our stay here. It wasnt 5 star by any means but it suited our needs.

This place is awesome. My family & I stayed in the room with a kitchen that had a view of the lake. It was incredible. The kitchen is stocked with things to prepare or eat meals. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The view was breath taking. We will always come here. It really couldnt have been better. The only thing is I hope the light bulbs are changed to be a little brighter. Besides that it was the best stay.
There’s no air conditioning and the room is extremely hot. The room is old with little or no care. There is a private beach but the water is very dirty, not clear at all with bad smell too. I wouldn’t recommend this if you are planning on a relaxing Tahoe trip.
We decided to stay in this place after all the good reviews was posted online. This is the most unsafe place to stay. No one is in the hotel premises after hours. All the entrence doors was wide open. The second night at 3am someone came and knock the door so hard. I called after hour personal and they didn’t send patrol to check who was the person. 30min later the same person comes and bang the door and several other doors next to us. When I brought the issue to the front desk manager in the morning on our check out. She said that she got complain from other guests as well and she was sorry about it. I’m sure they have cameras and they are able to identify the person . But they didn’t bother to do it. They had badge in and out of the pool but didn’t bother to put locks on the premises so the only way to access the hotel is to badge in. The amount of the money they are changing it is not worth it. This place is not safe and on top of that the carpet had big stain and room smell and some of the lights was not working.
The location is fantastic. We walked right out of our patio onto the beach. We booked a 1 bedroom condo on the first floor for 5 nights. I could have stayed forever. The condo was spacious, well stocked, sparkling clean and the bed was super comfy. The staff was very helpful and friendly. For the money, this was a great value. You would be hard pressed to find another property with a private beach for this price. Next time I visit Tahoe, I will skip searching for other properties and just book this place again. Highly recommended.
Worth all 5 stars! Run, dont walk to this hotel! And DO NOT be fooled or scared by the front of this hotel like I initially was when I arrived. It is awesome inside! The most attentive and welcoming staff, CLEAN, and the coziest rooms and beds with amazing lake front access. They mean it when they say that EVERY room has lake views and YES the fireplace in the rooms work! (all the reviews saying it didnt worried me but this was not an issue for us at all!) Im sad that we only stayed here one night. I will be back!
Stayed here just after the first snow of the season! The place is in a great location and has amazing views of Lake Tahoe. The rooms are spacious and clean and each one has a view of the lake so you cant go wrong. Unfortunately, we werent able to enjoy the beach due to the recent snow, but there was a firepit for those willing to brave the cold. The staff is friendly and went above and beyond to answer any questions we had during our stay. Would stay again
Beautiful hotel on the beach! I booked a stay here very last minute and the night audit, Anastasia, was amazingly accommodating! She was so kind and and welcoming exactly what I needed after a long day. She helped me get the room type that I wanted and gave me helpful options for breakfast! Fantastic service! Then when I got up to the room I was even more amazed! This hotel does a great job making a simple cabin style look elegant and comfortable for anyone. I had a side view with a cute tiny bath tub perfect for one. The balcony was lit by the moon light with just enough of a view of the lake. If I have family or friends visit I will absolutely tell them to stay here! Loved it!

Overall a great stay at Tahoe Lakeshore Lodge. There was only one con to my stay. The fact there is no A.C in the hotel room, was brutal. How is any suppose to sleep in 78° room.
We absolutely loved our stay here! It has a great cabin feel and the view is to die for. Staff is so helpful and checks in daily with covid restrictions. We had the sweetest card and gift upon arrival for our anniversary. Although we aren’t big wine drinkers, I greatly appreciated the gesture but opted to save it so they could hopefully give it to someone who would really enjoy it! We can’t wait to come back when it’s warmer so we can enjoy the beach a little more.
Amazing stay, property is right on the beach, you get gorgeous views from all the rooms. Really appreciated the sunset and sunrise from our cozy bedroom, the hot tub also, and will definitely come back when is warmer to use the pool. Staff was very thoughtful with our celebration. Can’t wait to come back!
We loved this hidden gem! Our patio opened right onto the sandy beach. The hot tub was a beautiful way to enjoy the stars. The staff was extraordinarily friendly. The room was furnished cabin-like and provided all that we needed for a short stay. We would definitely go back again.

I cant say enough about how great of a time we had here while feeling safe. Great location within walking distance of the village plenty of shops, food and places to eat within walking distance as wellThey have limits for entering the lobby and a great policy on room cleaning. We felt very safe while we were here.Well lit parking lot and sits right on the beach where you can walk to water sports or sit by the pool. Full grills and beach games here with chairs too. Great place for sunsets.They even went above and beyond and had wine for us when we checked in for our anniversary.Will def be back here in the future. Thank you!
I really wanted to love this hotel .ConsI big stain on the box spring really gross.No AC they only have a stand up fan very hot and humid in the room.You can hear everything upstairs walking, bathroom trips ect. I think it may have been the time of year but the water had so much algae we ended up going to another beach and didnt get to enjoy the main reason we wanted to stay here. And no restaurant on site but lots to walk toPros, they had lots sand games the kids loved they do have a pool and spa closes at 9pm and staff was very nice they do leave at 11 so get what you need before they leave. Not sure if we will return
We totally loved the experience there... very helpful staff, nice and clean rooms, great view. We were there during the snow storm while waiting freeways to open and they were very gracious and helpful.Only a small thing I would wish for is... there is a fridge in the room but no microwave, the microwave is in the lounge by the reception. Wish the rooms had a microwave too. Other than that its very nice.
Not bad but not that great either.The main reason why we chose to stay here was for their private beach and lake view rooms. This is where the lodge truly excels. The private beach was the perfect place to launch off on our paddle boards. They had towels and beach chairs available to guests (first come first serve). Plus fire pits, volleyball nets and a pool area right on the beach. Since we came on a weekday (Wed-Thur), it was not crowded at all which made social distancing easy.The lake views from our room were stunning and we loved the sitting area on the balcony. It would have been really romantic if it werent for the super thin walls of our room. If you value sleep, then I recommend asking for a room on the very top floor. We unfortunately got a room on the 2nd floor and can hear every step the guests upstairs of us were taking. This, combined with flat, uncomfortable pillows made for an awful night of rest. And forget about leaving the sliding door open to listen to the lake, itll be completely drowned out by neighboring guests on the beach or on their balcony since there is only a thin wall separating your balcony from theirs.The room itself wasnt too bad. It is was clean and tidy but definitely could use a remodel. There are pros and cons when it comes to staying here. For now the pros will have us coming back and try them out again, hopefully on the top floor next time.

Early checkin was available -I was underwhelmed with age of the place although my room was clean and tidy.Partial view was disappointing as most of view faced dead ended street with homes that could see into my room. Woken early morning to Very noisy garbage dumpster. The view of the beach that we captured from the patio was nice. Patio furniture cushions worn feeling the ribs of the metal chair / mind you I am lightweight (120 lbs)Biggest issue was that I left 2 brand new bathing suits when I checked out, still with store labels in top drawer( never worn) -Of course I called the front desk to request they find them- while they were polite they were not overly helpful 🤔Was told that unfortunately nothing was put in their lost and found, that the new guests have checked in, AND they would NOT ( it’s not their policy ) to disturb their new guest and that they would check the ROOM AFTER the guest checked out in another 48 hrs.Sorry but I don’t feel that is good customer service-even if their tone is polite.I was polite too.Fast forward, after 3 calls and speaking to mgr, I did get a final call AFTER 48 hrs, AND guess what??No surprises here…… they didn’t find my clothing articles .They need to change their policy - not happy with the outcome - Obvious someone wasn’t an honest Joe!Hope they enjoy my taste in bathing suits!
My bestie and I have been going to this place for 7 years. Every year to celebrate our birthdays. The customer service is great. Always a beautiful view from the room. Pool and spa clean. But, this yr 2021 bed was very hard and sagging, snack machine out of order. I shared with the front desk about the bed and he was very apologetic and put in a work order right away. We will return for a relaxing experience always..
This was a great place to stay! Right on the main strip, but the view from your room makes you feel secluded. The spa was nice to go in at night, and the gas stove fireplace in the room made it so cozy. Shower was hot water any time of the day. Everything was clean. The people at the front desk were always happy and nice. The new renovation is super cute, with wood pine furnishings. I definitely recommend this place!
We rented a condo for Thanksgiving, it was a nice view of the lake and parking is very good. Its in the center of everything so theres no need to travel far for anything. Our room was very dated and has definitely seen better days. The beds were really worn out and loud and there was only one tv. I ended up sleeping on the couch . The kitchen was very convenient and clean although the refrigerator did not seem to get cold enough freezer worked fine. Overall friendly staff great view of the lake definitely use the fireplace to warm up the place.. I feel like for the price I paid they could remodel the units and get new beds its very 1970ish.
Nobody cares about safety! Our hockey jamboree was canceled due the weather condition just one day before our trip. I tried to cancel the reservation but the front desk didn’t want to help me. So, based on their logic I have to travel with my 2 little kids and ignore this: ‘Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Strong winds could cause extensive tree damage. Winds gusting as high as 90 mph along Sierra ridgelines with gusts up to 35 mph in the Tahoe Basin. Waves 2 to 4 feet on Lake Tahoe.’So, this alert was gotten just one day before our trip not 10 days prior to trip. Nobody wants to care about guests here.Btw all hotels where our teammates wanted to stay, canceled their reservations with no fees. Will never plan to stay here again.
I loved staying here! It was in a fantastic location and has its own private beach. The rooms were cozy and clean. We kept the curtains open the whole time because the view is just something we couldnt get enough of. I would highly recommend staying here if youre going to be in Lake Tahoe.
We hit the jackpot staying here! Staff was very helpful and friendly. We stayed in the one bedroom lakeview condo, first floor, just a few steps from the beach. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio everyday with beautiful views of the lake and beach! The condo itself was nicely furnished. The only minor cons was some construction/maintenance happening the first few days of our stay that was disruptive, and the bed is very tall, and Im very short so after a long day of hiking/exploring, it was rather difficult getting into the bed
We loved this place, we were so sad to leave. We had a gorgeous corner room with panoramic views. The room was very clean and spacious, beds comfy, balcony.. perfection. Customer service was great as well easy and quick check in and check out! Great start to a 10 day trip!
Great hotel. No AC but the weather is nice enough that you dont need one. They do provide the room with a fan. Im assuming the winter is nice and warm due to a chimney in the room to keep you warm.
One of the best located motels in South shore lake Tahoe. Clean rooms and friendly staff. The view of the lake from the rooms are stunning. The beach is right out your front door. The rooms are a bit dated and could use some updating and they do not have Air conditioning. There is no restaurant or room service but there are many restaurants within walking distance. There is a pool as well . Its our favorite place to stay in Lake Tahoe!!!
We love it! The hotel rooms have kitchettes. Theyre super spacious and clean. The pool is clean and gets to 8ft deep. We had a first floor room and loved being able to run in and out of our room to the fire pit or the beach. This is our new tradition.
The lodge was so lovely. We checked in and the kindest employee helped us and and explained the amenities and told us about some fun restaurants and excursions that they partner with, which ended up in discounts for us. Check in and out was easy and the employees remained friendly and happy to help with anything through out our stay. The view of the lake from the lodge rooms is breathtaking. We loved spending time on the patio. The rooms were clean and open and the beds were pretty comfortable with plenty of pillows. The bathroom was cozy and a little dated, but very well maintained. The towels were the only linen that didnt impress me as they were older (the pool towels were a little small, but otherwise okay). Our room had a flat screen tv, cable, and DVD player. The amenities rock. The free hot chocolate was a huge hit with my kids. Theres coffee and a microwave in the lounge as well. The pool and hot tub are clean with plenty of lounge chairs. The lawn area with fire pit and games is a stones throw from the private beach which we really enjoyed. Another thing I adore about this lodge is the location. Walking distance to amazing eateries and a marina where we rented a paddle boat (at a discount). Walking means you wont have to pay an arm and a leg for parking. We had an amazing time at the lodge and are already planning our next trip.
The hotel is right on the beach. Most or all of the rooms have a good view of the lake. You can listen to the soft sound waves breaking on the shore from your balcony. It may be older than its competition, but it was there early and got a great beach site.It is a short drive to many things, and Heidis restaurant a block away has very good breakfast. Our rooms were generous sized.There are some cons: expensive, an older building, no AC (leaving the balcony door open with the screen door closed kept my room cool), have to go through a complicateds parking lot to get there. One slow elevator. Internet is so slow that web pages often time out before opening. Lake Tahoe Blvd (US 50) has a lot of traffic, and the immediate area is only fair for walking.We would return.
Man man man, I actually want to love this place but I cannot. View of the pool and easy access to private beach is amazing and the first thing we noticed. Even the full kitchen although dated was pretty cool just to have. The room appeared to be very clean and tidy BUT when using the restroom we found a used wash rag hanging on the shower rod. This is a HUGE no no especially with everything thats going on in the world. Very disappointing this place is pretty nice but thats nothing you can just look over or ignore.
Tahoe Lake shore lodge is an older hotel. The rooms are a little outdated, and the bathroom is small, nothing nice. We felt the floors were not clean, did a towel test and it didnt pass. There was also a beer bottle cap on the kitchen counter that wasnt from us. The fire pit was a nice touch, and the spa was working. The views are beautiful here, amd the front desk help were very nice. There is no restaurant or breakfast foods offered here, but there is a restaurant near by that is really great for breakfast (Heidis) also a CVS within walking distance.
Amazing! Quiet, private water front hideaway. Great location, very quiet and clean. Hotel very strict on their policies. FYI no air conditioning. Wish they had coffee in the lobby. They do have ice and a vending machine on the second floor. The rooms are great, very small bathrooms but the patio makes up for that. Large patio with Chairs and table. The view is incredible. You get mountains, beach, fire pit, pool and hot tub.All close at 10 pm. Volley ball court on the beach. 2 smoking areas outside in the parking lot. No smoking allowed on beach or in back pool fire pit area. Towels in lobby for pool use. In room fire places, fridge. Hairdryer in bathroom. Microwave is in lobby. They do have rooms with kitchen areas and bedrooms.Great place we will be back

This was my first time here. The condo we stayed in was very clean, fully stocked kitchen, dishes, cookware, cooking utensils, dishwasher. The rooms were very clean with very comfy beds. The view was breathtaking. Both from the bedroom and living room. It is located just steps from the beach that had a vollyball net, firepit. Just beautiful. I swear the best sleep Ive had in a while. The kids had a ball and we felt very safe. The staff was super nice to us. I highly highly recommend this resort if you are in the Tahoe area.
Great stay but had to cut short due to personal issues. Will definitely be coming back and staying here. Only issues we had were the guests staying near us were very loud and the walls were very thin. Older hotel but comfy and had all the amenities needed plus great views of the lake!
This was a fantastic place to stay. Right on the beach with an amazing view from our room. The staff was friendly and accommodating and took less than a minute to send some one to our room to help us. The only negative, and a minor one at that, is the ease to find it from the main road. Being that the hotel is practically on the beach, it is about 1000 feet from the main road and hidden from sight. Trust your GPS! Im definitely going to be staying here again.
Great place for a relaxed stay on South Lake. Friendly front desk and a quiet family friendly area are a great frame for the real star of the experience, being directly on the Lakeshore. Close to heavenly and stateline, there are a handful of good breakfast and little diners within walking distance and a seasonal bar on a nearby pier. The rooms are cozy if a little bit basic, the fireplace heaters in each room are wonderful for coming in out of the cold. The sauna and hot tub are great for after a day of skiing (or lodge drinking). Good deal for the price as well.
Myself and a friend shared a room with two queen-sized beds overlooking Lake Tahoe. The most stunning view I have ever had from a hotel. We had a balcony with a perfect scene of the lake. The room itself was nice and cosy, with a good fire to keep warm in the cold November evening! Staff were friendly and helpful....
Very beautiful view from the condo right in front of the lake. Condos are clean and tidy. Very close to heavenly gondola and also within minutes to all eateries. They have enough parking in from of every condo and rooms. Very beautiful view of sunset and sunrise.From outside building looks really old but the condos are well maintained and updated. Can take a stroll at lake evening its really peaceful.
We had a fantastic stay! I cannot thank the staff enough for being so hospitable and accommodating! We loved our room facing out onto the lake and enjoyed all of the beach amenities they had to offer (games, chairs). We definitely will be back!
If you need a nice relaxing place to stay with superior lake view, this lodge is for you. They located at the back of CVS, in case your GPS guide you to next door. Planty of parking space. They staff and service is friendly and awesome. Due to COVID, no room keeping (same as other hotels), but they would call you to see what you need(this is a plus++++). Their rooms is clean, bright, and the most important thing is - privacy, no one would stare at you outside. The things you probably can see from inside is the lake and beach. It also has a nice gas fireplace in the room. I love it. The days I stayed had snow. I feel like daytime summer, nighttime winter. Such a great experience in Tahoe.
I stayed for 3 days at the Lodge for a company event and it was great! The rooms were clean, and good size relax in. There was also plenty of room to have other people hang out in your room comfortably. The view from the balconie facing the lake was also incredible! The staff was very nice and professional! They took great care of us!
Fabulous location, with amazing views from every room. Kids loved the pool; The staff is also very helpful; the rooms are nice, though the bathrooms are not updated. But the big balcony is so amazing. Overall, enjoyed our visit tremendously and would consider returning;

Weve stayed here several times and have always enjoyed it. This year is our 36 year anniversary and we wanted to make sure it was special, so we asked for a room on the first floor facing the lake (which we got), so we can just walk out our door onto the beach. It was beautiful. The only thing wed change is they dont have king size beds only queen. The rooms are nice but we come for the view.
Staff was friendly and accommodating. We had a small issue with our room and were told we would need to move rooms. A staff member met us at our room with our new keys and told us we could turn in our old keys in the morning. This allowed us to continue on with our plans for the night instead of spending time moving immediately. The view from both rooms was simply amazing. Even though we earned several free nights at the casinos, we would rather come back here on our next trip.
We keep coming back over and over! All rooms are on the lake and have a view. Some rooms offer a kitchen which come in handy. Super staff and many groups come back year after year. Pool, hot tub, and spa on the second floor. I liked the robes so much I purchased one to take home. A jewel at Lake Tahoe!
Couldnt ask for a better room! Amazing view of the lake. A balcony to lounge on with a hot chocolate for the kids. A warm fireplace to enjoy during the cold weather. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Already looking to book a room again.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was clean, and very comfortable. We enjoyed being able to walk right out onto the beach, eating establishments were within walking distance, and the pool was very pleasant. Our unit only lacked for a mini fridge and air conditioning.
This place has been a go to for many for my family and I. Starting with the front desk, they are kind, professional. I lucked out and was able to check in a little earlier than normal. The view from the room is amazing. The price is reasonable for the location. I would recommend staying here. I do wish they allowed dogs. My family and I will always stay here when in town.
Came here based on a recommendation and couldnt have been more pleased.The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and best of all...THE VIEWS!!!We will be coming back for years to come. 😃
We had a fantastic room right next to the lake. In the morning, we could watch from bed as the sun came up and lit the mountains in a golden glow. The view of south shore is incredible from all of the room.
The view is quite beautiful and front desk people are super nice. Alas, the walls and actually the entire lodge doesn’t do much for noise. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing get away, don’t be put next to a room with kids. I’m surprised that the jumping or running around is actually causing my room to shake. They have ear plugs at the front desk! Yay!
Nice view of the lake from the room! Decent rooms, clean enough. Didnt get in the pool or hot tub but both are convenient to have. Would recommend as long as you realize it isnt meant to be a 5 star hotel
This is a decent place to stay in budget. If you are visiting in off season (May-June) then do ask for better deals. They can open up beautiful rooms without overshooting your budget. All in all a good centralized place to stay, walking distance from most of the good eating places across the street. One downside is the private beach this property has. Its not at all maintained and is mostly empty due to lake water clogged in a creek thats breeding ground for mosquitoes and other insects. Views from the room facing lake are marvelous during sunrise and sunset.
Stayed for two nights with my husband. We skipped bidding on a name your price site and called the hotel directly to request the price we wanted. They were accommodating and friendly. We were placed in room 105, bottom floor. I agree with other reviews that say its a little outdated. This is true, however it was also clean and my request for fresh sheets/towels was met promptly.What we learned:1. Rooms 109 - 105 are situated on the walkway to the pool. The only window is the large sliding glass door that does face the lake AND the walkway to the pool. There is no privacy curtain, so this posed a problem...for all the people passing by who felt free to take a peek in our room on the way by.2. There is no air conditioning in any room on the property. (I realize that driving up to Tahoe in 111 degree heat is not the lodges problem, but we were really looking forward to a/c, and its not posted on their site that they dont have it). We were told by staff that we dont even have them in our homes3. Apparently, they do not have microwaves or refrigerators in their homes either...Over all, it was a nice weekend, close to restaurants, (MUST EAT AT BIG DADDYS across the street) close to sup shops and marinas. Loved the beach access :)
Great service and very friendly staff! The views are just breath taking, small touches make this a home away from home. Jacuzzi was really nice with the views of the mountains! The sauna was a little busy but its definitely worth trying if you havent!
Excellent accommodations at this South Lake Tahoe lodge along the south shore of Lake Tahoe. Lodge word is synonymous with wood structure that fits very well with this simple, clean and well situated lodge. Great views from every room from this single loaded corridor lodge. The lake view constantly keeps changing as the sun reflects the water from various angles. Views at dusk and dawn are spectacular as well.
We had to drive through a parking lot with lots of construction to get to the hotel which made it unpleasant. The keys are old style which is a pain to carry around. I paid cash when I checked in but they couldnt give me a receipt, they said that they will e-mail me one which they never did. The elevator is very old. The room was clean but the bathroom was very old. The pool is right under most of the rooms, its so close that you can hear everyone in the pool and its very noisy. Ask for a room far from the pool. We asked to change our room. They said that they did not have any other room which was a lie since the vacancy sign was on. They said that they will let us know the next day if some room will become available, but they never did and still the vacancy sign was on. I wouldnt stay again in that place.
We were a large group 12 so rented 2 units with 2.5 bedrooms with 2 baths each adjoining. Large, clean and amply supplied with kitchen utensils. What greatly greatly is it the lake is just beyond the patio. They have coffee/beverage is the reception area and the provide free rental sports/volleyball equipment. And yes the couches turns into bed too!
Beautiful views. Friendly staff. Affordable. Clean. A bit outdated, could use a few more amenities such as a complementary breakfast. Mostly conveniently located, walked to most places in town but had to drive to a few others.
Everything this condo and hotel has going for it is its outstanding location. The rooms and the furniture are worn down and we checked in with a family of six to a large kind of minium and they give us four tiny bars of soap I mean theres theyre being cheap in places that they really should step up and get better customer service
I absolutely enjoyed my stay here! The lodge has a more casual feel compared to an upscale hotel, but the direct beach access and lake/ mountain view cannot be beat. The service was friendly and accommodating our entire visit. :)
Highly recommend this place! Really good choice for its affordable price and prime location.Location is looking out at the lake (great view), and it is also right by a main road that provides easy access to Heavenly and dining/entertainment venues of South Lake Tahoe.Rooms are studio-style, with large-enough kitchens (stove, fridge, microwave, oven, sink, etc.) that are fully stocked with silverware and plates/glasses/etc. Interior is not fancy, but was very clean.Amenities include a sizable HOT TUB (with extra towels), pool, volleyball court, basic breakfast (muffins, donuts, fruit, coffee, hot chocolate, etc.), and... did I mention the lake (short couple steps away) or the VIEW?Hard to beat the value you get at the price! Staff is also super friendly and helpful. Note the walkways to get into the units are covered, but still open to the weather on the side.(Tip: easier entrance when you turn in through the nearby CVS parking lot.)

Had an excellent stay with Tahoe Lakeshore Lodge! Every room has a balcony with full lake front view. Loved the private beach access. The room is cozy and clean - but on the basic side. So if you are looking for luxurious rooms, this place is not for you. The location of the lodge is unbeatable - restaurants, Safeway, CVS, etc. are all within walking distance. They even have BBQ racks at the backyard.Last but not least, the staff were all so courteous and helpful for any questions related to Tahoe. The only comment I have is that wifi connection can be inconsistent. Otherwise I highly recommend staying with them. Cant wait to return myself!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Comfortable beds. There is coffee, tea and hot chocolate but no breakfast on site. But we went to Heidis next door and that was good. It looked like all rooms have the lake view.
2nd time here. My family & I just love love love this lodge. Great customer service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Kevin has done so much to make sure our stay was perfect. We will for sure be back. If you have children I do recommend getting one those there condos. The kids love the loft area and I enjoy cooking in the fully equipped kitchen. Cant wait to be back!!
Accommodations were nice. Hotel is older but clean and Spa is worth it. We got 90 min massages. Recommend! Do note... not air conditioned so gets warm in hotter months.
Im sure there are nice units here...room 226 is not one of them. $300 for a two bedroom unit on the beach with a balcony and a lakeview is okay to pay...but again, that does not describe room 226. Your view will be more of the pool and lodge building than lake and you cant stand up in the second bedroom...or close the curtains because there arent any on the windows. We had to stuff pillows in the windows and pile blankets in front of them to block the light. Also, be aware there is no air conditioning. And to top it all, there wasnt even a spatula in the kitchen. Suffice it to say, we were very disappointed.
I really enjoyed this hotel. Great views and pretty quiet. Super fast check in and very helpful staff. Only downside is that the entrances to each room are outside, so if its snowing or raining it can be a little inconvenient. Would definitely stay here again.
We had an awesome stay at the Tahoe Lakeshore Lodge and Spa. Our corner room was fantastic and had a glorious view of the lake. The music Thursday was a great bonus we could enjoy from our balcony. We will be back to Tahoe Lakeshore Lodge and Spa for sure. Thank you for a great time.
Love this place! Incredible location, nice clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, lake was beautiful, sandy white beach, nice pool/spa, very reasonable rates. Definitely will be back!
Hotel is nice with really unbeatable views and location is great as well. Bed is a bit rough with bathroom and shower being quite small, walls are also very thin and can hear everything. Only real complaint and disappointment is lack of air conditioning in the room. I didnt see this listed on the website at all either and since we drove 7 hours on july 4th weekend everything is booked... For the price I paid $827, (even though front desk pointed out I had one of the cheapst rooms, not very professional) this was quite a shock...simply would appreciate some transparency on the website before booking.
Great lodge for the value. The rooms at the main lodge were very spacious and included a kitchen. The furnishings were more rustic and older in style but everything was very clean and comfortable. The property includes a lawn with a firepit, pool, hot tub, spa, and beach volleyball court.
The location is the best. Right on the beach view of the lake a fire pit for night. The room was dated the bathroom was small. Twin queen barley fit family of 3. 4 stars because service was great location A+
I used to love this place and only stayed here when i went to Tahoe, but during my stay this past week i forgot my wedding rings on the bathroom counter. I got about an hour out and realized i forgot it and decided to call to let them know i was coming back. Long story short i was told my ring wasnt there and i must have misplaced it. I am so upset and i cant believe the hotel staff would keep something so personal and sentimental. I was on my 1 year anniversary and ended up without my wedding rings.
Really awesome place. The rooms have a gas fireplace which is really nice. Views of lake Tahoe from room balcony. Theres a hot tub. Parking is easy. CVS is right next door. Definitely fun and cozy

The condos are great with a lake view. The location is close to everything and within walking distance to coffee shops, bakeries, dining, CVS, and much more. The only con was a power outage at night that we weren’t warned about.
One of my favorite places in Lake Tahoe!Beautiful beach setting. Summer concerts on the beach. Fire pit. Volleyball. Short walk to the cool little bar on the pier.Rooms really have that rustic Tahoe feel. Dont expect a sleek modern casino atmosphere.This is the place to hang out with friends and family.And the people who work here are so nice, friendly, and accommodating.Love it!
We enjoyed our time here. Room was cozy and comfortable. Hot water on the shower take some time to warm up.Location is also good near the safeway supermarket.Quick check in and check out procedure.Lake view is very nice.
This resort is located not too far from Heavenly Village. It has its own private beach and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. A Safeway is located across the street. The kitchen in the room is pretty well stocked with cooking and dining utensils. The lakeview room is steps away from the beach. The staffs are excellent and helpful.
Great view, a bit expensive for the facial and pedicure. Room terrace was nice. Pool was about 60 degrees in August. No umbrellas or beach chairs available for the beach. Pier for jet ski and other rentals was a short walk. Many good restaurants a short walk or drive away. Front desk was fiend and helpful. Microwave in the lobby. Tv in the room was small and had no HDMI connector. WIFI was fast.
Beautiful accommodations for a romantic weekend getaway. Avoiding timeshare promos and sales presentations are nearly impossible. Be firm if you want to OWN YOUR OWN TIME on vacation. DONT GET SUCKED IN! Avoided public areas to avoid pushy staff. Didnt use the pool or hot tub as didnt want to be near clubhouse. High pressure sales avoidance has to be high priority to have a nice relaxing time, be forewarned 🤑
We just stayed in this Hotel,. Is a great place, really quiet clean with great customer service, when I check in the lady was really nice and offered the free drinks they have (coffee, hot chocolate and tea) the view is beautiful the room have a full kitchen you just need to be responsible to leave it clean they just clean the room, bathroom but for the price is fare. this is our new favorite Hotel to stay in lake tahoe
This is the most outdated hotel I have ever stayed at. The location is the only …. Seriously only reason it gets more than one star. The facility is incredibly outdated….. it’s easy to get locked out of the bathroom, the front door you basically have to close line the front door to open… the bathroom is quite frankly disgusting, for 600 ish dollars for two nights—- I expected way better…. Ohh and there’s no ac … at all …. Do your self a favor and go somewhere else
Fabulous rooms and views. We have celebrated two anniversaries here and we plan to go again next anniversary (November). The staff is very helpful and friendly. We love being able to walk to Heidis Restaurant for breakfast.
This hotel is very nice. Me and my new Hubby stayed here for three nights during our Honeymoon. It was so Magical and Beautiful, we did NOT want to leave. We will definitely be back! :)
We stayed in one of their lake front condos. It was clean and quaint, but very dated. Lamps were pieces together and everything about them were falling apart. 1970, 1980, 1990 called and said please update me. There were many wall switches that didnt control anything. Now in all fairness, these condos are privately owned so I am referring to #133. As far as the staff, they were very friendly and accommodating. One thing though, so many rules. Cant do this, cant do that. If you like to smoke, go elsewhere.
We didnt stay here so our review is based solely on our brief visit to their beach. The location and private beach of this place is incredible. We will definitely be reserving a weekend or long stay with them. Thry are quite literally on the water.
Near the beach and wonderful view from our balcony. They have, toasters, stove, microwave,coffee maker, utensils for cooking, etc. Very clean and well kept. 600$ it’s not worth it, we stayed at the dark one hot my son was crying all the night couldn’t sleep no air condition, nor fan. We opened all windows but not got any freshwater. The worst experience.Things are clean, super dark not recommended for vacation
This place is so beautiful. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are spectacular. It’s located right on the beach and I recommend a beachfront room when you plan a visit. We always stay here when we visit.
Great view of the lake. Comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Has beach access and is super close to the slopes. It was great to relax on the jacuzzi after a long day of skiing.

Great hotel. We booked a 1 bedroom condo. It was great, kitchen, fire place, and lake view. We havent time to use all amenities, but next time we will for sure.

Horrible customer service! I have never experienced this type of treatment at a hotel in my entire life. The manager Lisa did not have a mask on when she was arguing with me over a personal disability that I use a service dog for. This hotel discriminates against any disability that involves a registered service dog! Rooms are outdated and dirty so I’m not sure why a service dog who is well behaved would not be allowed. I do not recommend this hotel!
Big rooms with woodstove, clean, very nice view, good sound insulation, convenient situation. Large kitchen with all the basics. No breakfast but they have tea and coffee in the common lounge.

Loved our stay. Rooms are clean, spacious and overlooking Lake Tahoe. Kitchens are well maintained with utensils. Shops and activities are close by. Would surely come back.

Its a good, low-key, place to stay. My only concern is that the fridge was small. I really enjoyed my stay there and the people there were nice and helpful.
Really nice property right on the lake. Some amenities are outdated but theyve kept the place up really well. Great location, away from the crowded Stateline area, lake is fairly private with lots of families vacationing.

It was quiet and easy access to everywhere. We mostly walked to all activities: boats, kayak, bikes, and food. Be ready for Lime if you like scooters and getting around quickly.

This is the most disgusting hotel ever! Before I went bed, I went to check if the sheets were clean, and there was a huge glob of black hair on the pillow! When you look at the carpet, there are huge food stains, stuck bubblegum, and other nasty things. This is absolutely gross!

Bed was uncomfortable, bathroom was tiny. could hear the people above us walking around. not sure why it is rated as high as it is. The pool was small. The “spa “ is just a room that they converted into a spa which is nothing like a spa. The front desk was nice. Just too old and dated for the money that we spent for a good view .

2024-06-24 22:39:06Everything was nice about this place. My sis has gone here the past 4 years and i decided to come up last minute for the night and got my own room. Very accommodating and even got to check in early. Friendly staff, great location with beach, food and even a pool. They offer beach chairs too but any room, has an amazing view. The TV didnt quite work well, the signal maybe bad and also the little fire place the have, it was on, very low but still on and it was summer. NO ac but they provide a small fan which i thought was enough.

2024-05-13 20:22:28If you ignore the brown carpet in the walls in the elevator and the pretty dated corridors this is an excellent place to stay. The rooms are partially updated, large and our lake view and gas fireplace was really cozy. The hot-tub was closed for maintenance, they said they sent an email but I can’t find any record of it. And we didn’t get a discount. No food on premises. Heidi’s across the parking lot is good for breakfast.

2024-05-13 14:39:00My stay wasnt the best due to the people above me. The staff were very warm and it was a good facility with probably one of the best locations on the beach. You have a late check-in but you were able to accommodate me around 2 pm. My family and I were able to enjoy the hot tub and pool without having to wait. The room I was in was clean and cozy.The annoying aspect of the stay were the other occupants. We had enough of the beach at about 6pm and decided to eat in and watch movies. Unfortunately, we couldnt relax. When the facility started to get full all we heard were the sliding doors slamming and people running throughout. It sounded like the people above us were part of a moving company. The footsteps were very heavy. At first the thought of being on the first floor with immediate beach access was nice but it is not. If I ever stay there again I will request the 3rd floor. The heavy footsteps didnt stop until around midnight. I think there was a family of around 50 people staying in multiple rooms as I saw them running to and fro and in and out of each room. Very dissatisfying.The facility can use more than one fire pit. I wanted to sit by the flames but the family that beat us was there all night. Other than the rude family above us, you guys ROCK!

2024-04-01 14:35:01Booked one of the apartments for the weekend as a little birthday getaway with my partner. Our patio was right on the beach and we got to sit out and watch the snow fall. The kitchen had all the basic utensils and cookware. My only advice would be to bring seasonings and things like tin foil with you if you plan on cooking while there. The views were spectacular, the apartment was cozy and the wood burning stove really was the finishing touch. I only gave it 4 stars because of the few small things that showed the apartments age, but really it wasnt any bother at all. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will most definitely be staying again.

Best massages weve ever had. Make sure to ask for Maria or Stephen. We will be getting everytime we come here now. I wish I could give more than 5 stars

You won’t regret staying here and waking up to sounds of the waves.Shoutout to Alexa at the front desk!

2024-06-04 21:28:02Unacceptable amount of trash broken glass on private beach. Shoreline understandable, but I stepped on a nail by their steps to the beach. Carpet transition in room loose nails, bent sharp metal everywhere. Feet black walking in the room barefoot within 5 mins. They have taken advantage of the monopoly on prime real estate.No reason to give this place 2 stars other than the view, otherwise 1 star.I dont expect luxury, but older elevator with expired inspection slammed close into my wifes arm very hard and every time I attempt to wheel our children in, I literally have to shove my hand in the saftey mechanism. The entire property is NOT ADA friendly whatsoeverPretty terrible Custodianship of this beautiful land. Wish the best for this place, shame that its like a junkyard

2023-12-17 17:05:43We loved this hotel. The price was great. The room was spacious, clean, and cozy. The staff was friendly and helpful. The views from the room would be hard to beat. Having a small gas fireplace in the room was a much appreciated bonus. That little fireplace kept the room nice and warm all night while adding a relaxing ambiance the entire time. The bed was clean and super comfortable. The pillows were good! Not your normal pancake thin pillows that dont hold your head up. There was a full closet to store your belongings and hang your clothes. We didnt go down to the hot tub on this trip, but it was hot and ready for anyone who wanted to relax with a snow-covered beach to look at while enjoying it. As another bonus, Heidis Pancake house is located in the same parking lot. So it is a quick walk from the hotel, and you dont have to worry about finding a parking spot. There are also grocery stores and other places to eat right down the street. The location is great.
