The environment makes for a great casual date night. The service was friendly, atmosphere is interesting with all the different businesses under the same roof. The prices were OK, the cleanliness was OK the sushi in the Bento box that I had seemed to be a little less than fresh, but it was OK. Nothing distinctly bad to say, but also nothing distinctly great to say about it.

Ordered the fishing boat. Great deal $50 for 3 different sashimi (2 each) and 3 specialty rolls. 1. Lion King 2. Red Dragon 3. Don San. Everything was delicious besides the miso soup, Tofu tasted weird in it. Service was a bit slow, but servers were incredibly friendly and nice. Everything we asked for was brought without any issues. Definitely a great sushi place. Will be back to try other rolls!

Officially our new go-to place for sushi! Absolutely the best sushi in the area. Not to mention reasonable prices. We loved all 6 of the rolls we ordered and cant wait to try more. Highly Recommended!

I used to love this place when I found them . I come there pretty frequently, usually . Well lately I’ve been getting take out orders. Must admit that quality of food in restaurant compared to take out is completely different . Two days in a row, sushi rice was undercooked . Today ordered my favorite roll, and it’s falling apart because it wasn’t cut properly . If I wanted a poke bowl I’d get just that . Take out quality speaks volumes, so hate to say that but this may be the last time I’ll be eating from there .

Croquette, sukiyaki, some rolls. Good quality food and tasty. Sukiyaki is a little bit salty. I wish they gave me some raw eggs like traditional Japanese style but with this price I can not complain it. Rolls are fresh and good. A little smaller than other restaurant but also they charge you less price.

First time here and it was amazing. In a incredibly fun space with shared areas for each business. Service was great as my wife and I sat at the sushi bar. We got a fishing boat (3 rolls and sashimi.) The fish is fresh, definitely not frozen. Highly recommend for a relaxing experience.

Pretty disappointed with the poke bowl that I had for dinner tonight. I’ve enjoyed poke from here in the past, perhaps a year or so ago, but it no longer meets the same quality that I remembered.The fish was cubed extremely lazily, in much larger pieces than in traditional, high quality poke. I got the ahi tuna and the salmon, and neither had the texture that I expect from a quality poke restaurant.I ordered my poke with white rice and the spicy soy sauce, but I was served poke on sushi rice and without any sauce! On top of that, the sushi rice was either undercooked or old, because it was extremely crunchy. It was also very over seasoned with mirin/rice vinegar and overwhelmed the flavor of the entire bowl. When I asked to have sauce brought on the side, it didn’t even taste like the spicy soy I’ve had before, it tasted like their house ponzu (which is very sour, not what I wanted).I unfortunately have come to the conclusion that I shouldn’t order poke from here anymore. This is an underwhelming sushi place, with somewhat okay bento boxes, and… acceptable ramen. (Those are the only items I have tried, I can’t speak for the rice bowls or sides). Save yourself the disappointment and order a sushi roll instead, I’m pretty sure they just shouldn’t be trying to serve poke. Or, honestly, if you’re really looking for good sushi, skip this place entirely and go to Silver Sake just down the street, it’s a million times better. I would only choose Taiko over Silver Sake if I wanted soup or a bento box.

This place has consistently great sushi with some surprises like the fresh oysters! One of my favorite things are the zucchini noodles in place of rice in the poke bowls if I want to keep carbs low.

Sushi is probably the best sushi in the Carmichael area. Personalable service and friendly staff. Rocky roll is an instant classic and the Ursula roll is for the adventurous. If I could give them 6 stars I would.

Great little spot with awesome staff! I had the salmon and avocado roll and the samurai roll. Both rolls were excellent. Samurai roll had great sauce and the fish was fresh and delicious.

I’m sorry to give a low rating, but the sushi here was very bad. The spicy garlic edamame was great, but the sushi was on par with a grocery store— did not taste fresh at all and the sushi-rice ratio was unacceptable.

We love this place. They have delicious sushi and sides. Spring for the fancier rolls --theyre worth it! The atmosphere is a little sports bar-ish, but they have neat art. The staff are always friendly and efficient.

Waited two hours for food, miso soup was cold (but delicious), the server was incredibly friendly but never gave us any indication of time expectations and she forgot two items on our order. Based on what other patrons were saying, the long wait is normal.

Weve had excellent and disgusting sushi here. Quality seems to be complete hit or miss. Weve gone on several occasions, and about 1/3 of the time the fish was inedible, 1/3 is pretty good, and 1/3 is amazing. Just hard to reply on as an establishment to recommend or take friends and family to for such a gamble. I sent this in an email to Taiko and never received a reply, so I assume its not monitored or they dont care.

Their food is great, very fresh and delicious, however on Fridays after 5pm the customer service for pick up orders is not that great. The servers are rude, never have eye contact nor have a smile or a welcoming feeling. Hopefully the owners or managers noticed and train their Friday servers to be as friendly as the rest of the week.

Food is always mind blowingly good. But the waitresses always forget about you. Last 4 times Ive had to get up to ask for plates and utensils and soy sauce & my check as well and water refills. Chefs are amazing. Waitresses dont do anything

OK -- the food was delicious (apple blossom and volcano rolls), but the service was awful. We ordered sushi and noodles. And then we waited. And waited. And waited. We asked the waitress after 30 minutes about the food, and she said it would be right out. Then she came back 10 minutes later and said it would be 10 more minutes. We asked for the food to go. The server dropped off the to-go bag and the check, and literally ran away. We stood in line to pay. So we were there for 1 hour waiting. When we got home, there were no noodles. We werent charged for them, but we wanted the noodles. Communication about the delay would have been GREATLY appreciated. It felt like the server straight up did not care.

They have an extensive menu selection. The quality of the sushi was fantastic. Their sauces were good and well flavored. The price was more than fair. Id say each item is three to five dollars less than mikuni and simular quality and portions.

This place is great! The restaurant itself is part of a large indoor food court. They have tables AND a bar to sit at. The chefs there are really nice and fun to talk to. I had two rolls and they were both delicious. The thing I like most is that the portions of fish on the rolls are Big!

Quite possibly the best sushi I’ve had. Very reasonable prices for the amount you get and quality of the sushi! Tasted fresh and was very filling! My 2 friends and I got $60 worth (8 different rolls) while there on vacation. Each one was absolutely delicious! Definitely saving this location for when I’m back in the area!

Excellent sushi and a great experience!We stopped by to try this place out and were happy we did. It wasnt very busy so we sat at the sushi bar, and instead of just ordering a few rolls, the sushi chef had us start with rounds of sashimi.The food he made was amazing, and the chef himself was very friendly - it was fun to chat with him while he worked. We got to try a lot of stuff that we never would have otherwise. The one roll we had was excellent too.Im looking forward to our next visit, and I hope Taiko remains a staple of the Milagro Centre!

When me and my friend went they were just opening so they were working out the kinks and all that, so the fact that we had to wait a bit wasnt that big of a deal. I got a salmon /avocado roll which was good portion and very fresh! This aint the sushi you buy In the container at Raleys thats for sure!! The guy even gave us a free seaweed salad for the wait! Nice people and the section it was located in the Milagro was very nice.

We’ve been here several times since it opened (went the week it opened and it was a hot mess) and we love it. There’s a good variety of sushi and Poke and it’s all pretty delicious! Bonus, they’re actually open when they say they’ll be unlike another place down the street.

This restaurant has been my sashimi place to go . The best fresh fish, especially, the tuna and poke bowls. I took so many guests here and have gotten so many nearby neighbors hooked . The chef was not only the best creator with a simple piece of raw fish but a talented artist in food preparation. Prior to the COVID restrictions I came with friends every Sunday for lunch and at least one evening a week. We never ordered we just told him to bring us his choice. Usually we each had 4-5 dishes until we could eat no more.I have not been here since January .Today, I finally came. I was sad to hear, the creative Chef is long gone. Why I wondered. He often told us how much he loved the work. Well, I ordered 4 creative Chef’s choice sashimi to go. I said no wasabi or ginger but each with a different fish . I expected at least something similar to what I was used to. I will say no more but attach a picture of what I found when I opened the box at home . It speaks for itself . It looks horrible it smelled horrible and the 31/2 slices of salmon and tuna were so salty it was hard to swallow. There was a package of soy sauce that I did not open. The real chef made his own soy sauce!That was my dinner. Needless to say I will never eat there again! If I could rate it at zero, I would!
