Phenomenal food and service. We love the chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, vegetable samosa, and tandoori chicken and we’re here almost every week! Our waiter Gill is the best!

Not sure why this place is 4.1 rated (as of ), it is so much better! Flavors are great. I ate disappointing Indian food at higher ratings. Came here three times, and service is always friendly, portions great and prices are reasonable.

I am disappointed after having food here which was not at all good. We ordered dal, pea palaw, matar paneer and butter chicken. Dal and pea palaw was full of turmeric. How some one can cook like this. Butter chicken had not good chicken. Better try to other place. Even prices are on higher side. Don’t go to this place. All waiter will talk so sweet that you will fall in there pray.

I have lived in Marina Del Rey for 20 years and tried all the Indian Restaurants in the area and nothing compares to Taj India Palace! Lavi usually answers the phone for delivery service. He does excellent job handling take out or delivery orders. The food is authentic and outstanding quality. The pricing is similar to other Indian Restaurant’s, but Taj India Palace serves huge portions. Excellent value too. Also, Robbie does a great job handling phone orders too. If you want excellent Indian food. This is the place!

Well our experience was not so pleasant. We went for LA last weekend and fortunately we found this place near airport to satisfy our hunger. The owner was a nice person and let us seated respectfully and waited patiently for our orders.We ordered chicken thali and aloo, gobhi prantha. So i’ll start with thali. Though we asked for spicy chicken curry in thali but the curry was sweet and bland. Same goes for other curries i.e mis vegetables curry. It feels like both have same curry. There is no salt in any of the curry and daal in the thali.Though we liked their aloo prantha. It was tandoori prantha as we used to have in india. Stuffing was spicy and delicious but gobhi prantha did not have salt.We only like their aloo prantha.Owner came to serve our dish and he was a nice person as he provided us the pickle that we asked for with prantha and also gracefully took our feedback about food.They need to work on their food and flavours

We ordered 2 veg thali and one veg biryani.Veg biryani was Ok, Thalis were good.Good to taste the saag and daal with good taste, no cream added. Most of the Indian restaurants serve saag with lots of cream which is not the case of Taj India place.Another good part is delivery of food, restaurant owner was able to deliver the food on LAX 👌 awesome.Will highly recommend Taj India Palace.

This is an update. The vegan lunch I bought today was soggy and had no taste. When I say I want mild food I dont mean completely spice less. I dont think it even had salt. Ill leave in my old review to show how much has changed in the past 4 months. Very disappointed!From 2023: I went in for lunch. Since most people pick up food nowadays the restaurant was very peaceful and relaxing. The vegetarian lunch special was great and enough for me to take home enough for dinner. The chai or indian tea was also delicious. Service was great.

Just ordered on Uber Eats last night from this place- it was AWFUL. The chicken tiki masala had zero flavor, we requested it spicy and it tasted like milk. The chicken was a very strange texture and guey. The garlic Nan was flat and lacked any flavor. Probably one of the worst Indian spots Ive ever ordered from. Should have ordered Akbar in Venice and just waited the forty minutes. Waste of $40. Passsssssssssssss trust me. Went to bed hungry.

We just had a fantastic dinner here! We were on our way to the airport to pick up our son and popped in here. It is so good. We are going to order from them when we do take out in the future. The butter chicken was some of the best we’ve ever had. We had a delicious paneer with a housemade sauce. And they had a coconut tikka chicken, which was a great twist on a regular chicken tikka. The rice was delicious. The garlic naan was perfect. We had 2 cups of chai which are also delicious and the raita and chutney were very good and they gave you a decent portion of each. Also, they couldn’t have been nicer! We will return.

I love this restaurant, it is unassuming from the outside but the quality of the food and the service inside is outstanding. This family owned and operated restaurant offers tasty, well-prepared food and delightful sauces that give a diversity of flavor experience to your meal. I had the chicken kabob and the ground lamb kabob plus three types of sauces that ranged from savory to sweet - yummy! My mother, who is a picky eater, also loved the food as did my son (who is a fan of spicy foods).I like my food lightly spiced and not very hot - Taj India Palace adjusted the heat and the spice to my liking which is ofen difficult to find in ethnic food places that default to hot and spicy foods with very distinct flavors. This restaurant caters to the clients liking on that level while maintaining their signature flavors and dishes. Enjoy this local restuarant!

The Taj Palace is a fabulous INDIAN FOOD experience. The service is friendly, the waiters are knowledgeable, and the food is absolutely delicious. We always liked that place since 2012 if not mistaken, and sadly at one point that place got burned, we waited for them to reopen again and we moved to Texas now that we are back we hope to go back again any time soon we loved the place the workers were always welcoming the food always on point every time will go we always had a good service. Id recommend this Indian restaurant to anyone staying near the LAX. We loved it so much we went two nights in a row. Good food and not very spicy/oily. They have Vegan curries too! My daughter enjoyed the Paneer Karahi while we relished the Saag Paneer. We didnt have anything non-Veg, but extrapolating the taste Im sure it would be good too.

Did not follow the order notes where I requested utensils and they did not deliver. My drink also did not arrive. They did not indicate if rice was or was not included with the main entree and the curry was unexpectedly spicy for a mild tomato based dish, where rice would have made for a more balanced flavour. I was unable to eat my dinner and am rather disappointed.

We ate here for dinner in a group of 6. The service and food were both excellent, and very accommodating of any requests. They serve beer, only have Taj Mahal. We ordered butter chicken, sashi paneer, beghan bharta, chicken vindaloo and lamb vindaloo as well as samosas and garlic naan. Everything was terrific, we ordered medium spicy and it seemed just right. The food was hot, and the naan was perfectly cooked. We eat a lot of Indian food whenever we travel and this was one of the best.

Visiting from out of TownThis was my first time trying this place out. It is close to the airport. The restaurant is clean, the staff was very friendly and fast. The food was very, very good. I opted to have the Vegetable Biryani and some Vegetable Samosas and they were both exquisite!! The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. When I visit again I will definitely be coming back! I recommend this spot to travelers and locals alike!!

Food was nice and service was great. The samosas were not so great and were the typical frozen ones that are heated again. Ambience is nice and gives a transitional feel. The owner or manager is very sweet spoken. Overall it was a very nice experience and can come here again if Im around.Parking is bit of a problem but you might trying parking at the rear of the resturant and then walkin from the alley.

One of the best India food we had in the US ever. The owner/manager was helping us with the order. He made sure the quantity was enough as we were a group for 7 seven people. The Pakodas were really good. Even the Paneer Tikka was freshly made. Highly recommend if you are around this place.

My wife and I ordered take out and we were very disappointed with the portions with the exception of the rice(they give you plenty of rice to fill the take out carton). The food was extremely disappointing. Traveling with family to LA and looked for a good Indian restaurant in the area and this one came up as 4.5 stars on Google. The food was anything but. Service was good and courteous but one cant eat the service..:) Ordered three chicken dishes but none of them were marinated. Basically chicken thrown into some pre-made curry and thats it. Very bland with no flavors at all. Do yourself a favor and look for another place if youd like to eat Indian.

This is my first experience with Taj India Palace. Indian food near my area is usually a hit and miss and the reviews for this particular location was also hit and miss. So, having a craving for Indian food for lunch and sun for dinner, I gave this location a try. Im glad I did. The food was delivered on time and it was still hot and fresh. I got a lunch combo plate which included chicken vindaloo, Dal, vegetable of the day, rice, and naan. I was very impressed with this particular combo. The food was fresh, flavorful and tasted homemade. There was some love going into this food. The chicken vindaloo could use a little bit more Indian flair but it was spot on and delicious. The naan was soft, chewy and just the right amount of toasted. Very impressed with this combo and it was fulfilling.Now I did venture out of my comfort zone and tried their lamb keema samosa. This was somewhat of a disappointment as it was really just dough with ground lamb meat. There was not much flavor, the dough was really thick and overall this was not something that I will be ordering again.The Raita which was a yogurt sauce was amazing. Very light, refreshing and cleanses the palate after you have such a flavorful chicken vindaloo combo. Goes great with naan bread.Lastly, the salad that came with the meal, was drenched in Italian dressing. So the salad was pretty much ruin with the saturated Italian dressing.Overall, Im giving this place a solid five stars. Great location, timely delivery, the prices were on point and the food especially the combo was delicious. As the Terminator would say, Ill be back.

We were so glad to see this place finally reopen after the fire. The food is still great. However, the service was excruciatingly slow, and the portion sizes were smaller than we remember them being. Still some of the best Indian food available in our area, especially for vegetarians. Just wish it wasnt so expensive and slow.

1st time here, with husband + parents visiting from out of town. We all enjoyed our experience a lot! The cooking area is open, so one can see some of the food being made. We didnt have to wait an overly long time for our meals, and the prices are reasonable compared to other Indian restaurants.I had a saag dish, and I loved its thick consistency. My parents each had a karahi entree, new to them, and they enjoyed the flavor. Husband very much enjoyed his vegetarian meal.We all had garlic naan, which was cooked beautifully, with a firm bottom and soft top. Husband & mom also liked the flavor of their iced tea. The decor was nice, and my mom (who is very sensitive to color) approved of the color scheme.The restaurant is located in a little strip mall with not a lot of parking spaces, but there is street parking available (except during rush hour).

My whole family loves coming here for dinner. Parking is tight but the food is yummy. We always get the chicken vindaloo and Tikka masala and samosas along with a few vegetarian entrees. Just be sure to ask for the spice level you want, otherwise the food will be made for mild American tastes. We have had the occasional samosa come out cold in the middle but management was always quick to rectify.

This is my first review.We came to this restaurant late night seeing the reviews were good and thought of eating at this restaurant. We are South Indians from hyderabad India. So we ordered chicken biryani, mutton (lamb) biryani, vegetable biryani and vegetarian thali. These are overly priced and by seeing the ratings we thought the food is going to be excellent or at least good.We were shocked after opening our food. Biryani has full of raisins and it is not even dum biryani. It is some mixed vegetables added with rice and it is under cooked and the taste was awful. We just had a bite of our food and it is so worse. we had to throw all of it in the trash slept in hungry because it is late night and we were so tired to order food again.Please be aware that this is not the restaurant to go and buy biryani because it is nothing but half cooked vegetables and half cooked meat.Please dont buy biryani at this place because they are actually not cooking the way the South Indians make. It has full of raisins and they call it biryani.Please dont go this please if you want to try Authentic South Indian biryani.Got to this restaurant at your own risk.

Honestly Im obsessed with this place. My best friend introduced me to this place about 2 years ago and since then I eat here atleast once a month. Best Indian food Ive had so far. This is like FAMILY restaurant. The cook makes NAAN BREAD in front of you. Try those kabab (chicken on the stick) - really authentic and tasty. Less oil and served with garden salad and pappad.We waited almost 45 minutes to get the salad and it was close to an hour to get the food. However the wait was worth the taste and QUALITY of the food. It looks like the TAKE OUT food here gets the preference. So if you know what you want then take out or go early. I give 5 stars for the quality of the food and the good service. This is a small place and there is not much parking - so find a street parking or there is one behind the building and is hard to see if you are new to that place.I suggest this place for everyone! Both my boys enjoyed the food.

The rice was crunchy, the food bland and the chicken was missing from the chicken tikka masala. this was the lunch buffet and it was admittedly a late lunch (1:30 p.m.), however, I cannot see how any one in their right mind would award this place so many stars. My only hunch is that this little strip of Lincoln is infested with horrible food, so in comparison, this place is considered great. There are many other better Indian places not too far away, so I would suggest consider going to those over this one. The food here is not horrible; its just not worth ever coming back.
