Tajima Ramen North Park in San Diego

I loved the food and the vibe.As my first time visiting North Park in San Diego, I was impressed by the livelihood of this neighborhood with a lot of cute restaurants and breweries around the corner!Me and some friends went to Tajima ramen and ended up seating outside! Even though it was cold the waiter promptly turned on the heaters which made the dinner much nicer.Food wise, we had the karaage and I had a creamy chicken ramen! The chicken was very tender and crispy and the ramen was smooth and boosting in flavor! (;The staff is helpful but in the beginning before we actually sat down they took a long while to clean up the tables or let us sit down, which was a bit unpleasant

I don’t come here as often as I’d like but every time I do, the food is hot, delicious, and comforting. The North Park location just has something about it that works and makes the most of its limited space. Its just cozy and a nice sit down on a rare cold cloudy day.The selection being limited could bother me… but they have the ramen I always love to eat. So the limited menu doesn’t bother me. Plus, food is delicious anyway. Its nice :)

Didn’t disappoint at all, everything was amazing and fresh. My Edamame was very good! Went on happy hour got everything for 22$ including tip

Really amazing flavor here at this location Ive tried two others and this one was pretty exceptional! I got the spicy ramen with pork extra green onions and it was just simply amazing! We also ordered some tempura brussels sprouts it came with the dipping sauce that was super delicious and the third side was fried chicken pieces which is served with spicy mayo and that was something new to the taste buds! My entire family enjoyed it we had a great time and the location is pretty nice inside even though its kind of small. Parking was limited but it was much worth the hassle. I definitely would come back to this place and I recommend you guys to come try it out! The pork was super tender and tasty and is definitely the highlight of the meal!Vegetables are great but the broth is that much better! Come on down and see for yourself! I also cooled it off with the mango matcha refresher! Cant forget about the spicy garlic edamame and the cream cheese wontons served with sweet and sour sauce! The bomb! I went to three different locations when I was in San Diego for the whole week so these pictures are from two different locations.

Very good ramen and perfect portion sizes. The edamame beans are also delicious! I wish the vegan ramen had a little bit more tofu and would like a little more meat in the Tajima ramen for the price. overall tasty experience

Flavors are clean, delicious ramen, karage fried a little hard but still tender and juicy. Service was fairly quick too!

Friendly staff. A bit salty for food and if you order spicy...its spicy.The egg has a weird sweet like taste. This is a place for college aged people and a quick bite to eat for lunch, not family vibes. The price was eh, for the food, not gross but not great. Its a trial to find parking so fingers crossed you get to park close if not bring good shoes and quarters for parking meter.

I don’t know what happened today with our server. She was super friendly at first then, when it came time to get the check I had to ask her three times, and every time she went and did something else. The restaurant was not busy, and she went and bussed tables around us and refilled people water instead of closing us out. Again not busy, aBeen in the industry a long time and was super disappointed. Not sure if she was upset at our party but we were not rowdy and super respectful, and somehow it felt purposely directed at us. None of us were rude or demanding, and we asked nicely for the check, and we were just ignored for about 20 minutes.

The chef makes delicious Ramen here. 5 stars to them.Service was not the best though.
