2023-10-01 01:34:57When we entered, the place was filled with a strong smell of chlorine. The tables were positioned very close to the bathrooms as its a small establishment. The sushi bars refrigerator had fewer pieces of fish. The portions were smaller than the usual serving size. I ordered a seaweed salad and a shrimp tempura appetizer, both of which were incredibly small and thin, almost the size of my finger. We also ordered a rainbow roll and a California roll, but they were not well-made. As soon as you picked up a piece, it would break apart because they used half the normal paper. You can see it in the picture, and it made it difficult to enjoy each bite. On the positive side, the fish and crab were fresh and of good quality.Another issue was in the kitchen; one of the employees wasnt wearing a hairnet and had all his hair exposed, while another had a cap on backward. Additionally, I witnessed one of the waiters touch the placemats, and I didnt see him wash his hands afterward. My overall experience was not the best, and the waiter kept explaining that the sushi chef was facing delays with his orders.

2023-06-28 03:50:24Get up get in get out get it get get get it. The secretary of the interior sat in the booth behind us and would not stop talking about how water is the new black. Meaning I presume that water has become a commodity worth hyping beyond its weight. And at 7lbs. per gallon perhaps we should refer to water like we refer to gasoline. What super power has the most water? How much like by volume of raw tuna is water? And how does that water taste so good.

2022-12-18 05:41:51Calm ambiance, dishes came out in a timely fashion. Sushi, rolls, and tempura were prepared with care and precision! High quality fish! Recommend the vegetable tempura, rainbow roll, and assorted sushi. No imitation crab here! They use REAL crab.

I loved the Spicy Tuna Roll and the King Salmon Roll. The Ootoro was delicious and melted in my mouth. I love how peaceful the setting and music are. Very soothing colors and atmosphere! Thanks for the enjoyable experience!

2023-07-07 03:59:01Maybe this is good for Palm Spring, but the quality and size of the sushi did not match the premium price range. The menu shows the price per 1 sushi... which is not a problem if the sushi is good.Good sushi has a balance of the flavor of fish and the fresh flavor of the ocean. Bad cuts of sushi or olderyou can tell because it is unbalanced. The fish here was just not to par. It was just okay. The tempura was not made well. Good tempura is not oily and the size and color should remain firm and crunchy. This needs improvement.Overall, the sushi was okay, but did not match the premium price tag. I have found better sushi at cheaper places.

2023-09-18 04:59:36Top class. This is NOT an Americanized sushi restaurant. Please do not come here and leave a one star review because they did not have a cream cheese or steak roll for you.

2023-07-08 22:08:01Save your money and time, and eat elsewhere. This place was unacceptable. The restaurant wreaked of fishy odor, and the air temp was really warm, probably in the mid-70s. We arrived for dinner around 7pm, and while it wasnt crowded, the service was really slow. They had only one server. The miso soup was waaaay too salty. The sushi, sashimi, and rolls were underwhelming and overpriced. The fish in the sushi, and on the rainbow roll appeared like scraps, and were so shoddily assembled. The avocado on the rainbow roll was brown. The sashimi was thinly cut, sliced along the wrong grain, and falling apart. I dont know how all the other reviews are raving about this place, but its a literal dump with unacceptably subpar food and service.

2020-11-08 10:39:47Excellent service and almost everything is really delicious. Our favorites were the Green Mussels w/dynamite sauce and the Chilean Sea Bass Miso Yaki. The only disappointing dish is the chicken breast (Taking) in the Bento Box (its dry), but other than that this is a really yummy experience :)
