2023-04-27 04:01:34We had an amazing server named Patricia! She greeted us with a cheery smile and welcoming demeanor. The restaurant is small and surprisingly quiet for being right there on Ventura boulevard. We had chicken udon and it was wonderful.Easy parking in the back.

2021-07-15 20:46:10I had the chicken Chasu bowl and it was delicious! I went for the Ramen but it was a little warm outside so I decided to try the Thursday special, and Im glad that I did. I sat in their front porch area and it was nice under the umbrella and to people watch. The food came out fast but it wasnt very busy. The service was pretty friendly. Average price for Ramen is $16 unless you go on a day when they have a special, in which case its closer to $9. Ill be back and you should def try it for yourself! One negative: NO sake or beer.

2021-02-12 02:39:47OK, this is officially my favorite noodle shop in the San Fernando Valley. I have eaten here once before, in the throes of a raging cold. The Spicy Chicken Ramen hit the spot, opened my sinuses, and gave me blissful relief. Here, on my return visit, my dining companion and I started with a wonderful tempura sweet potato appetizer. They gave us 7 pieces instead of the 8 that was promised in the menu, but rectified the problem quickly. My dining companion had the special of the day: chicken cha siu. This was not typical Japanese cha siu, thats normally exclusively made with pork. Also it had a Chinese flair, with a lovely sweet caramelized red sauce. It was served on what looked like a mountain of rice.I had chicken curry ramen. Normally its served in a curried broth with a dollop of curry sauce floating on top, but Tamashii has the curry mixed into the noodles, without broth. Shades of the curry spaghetti you can occasionally get at House Foods Curry House restaurants, but this was way better.Since I am a fan of Kawaii culture, we had to end our meal with steamed buns that looked like cute little piggies! They were stuffed with a sweet Ube (Filipino Purple Yam) stuffing...a sweet way to end our meal.I totally recommend this place, and wish I had more than five stars to give.

2021-09-02 05:09:25Had the Miso Ramen, fried chicken karaage, & Tornado shrimp. Vegies were fresh, meals clean & fried food was crispy. Service was friendly & fast.

2018-05-18 02:16:25Selection is decent. No soda fountain or specialty drink menu. I had the spicy tuna roll which were good. Also had the black tonkatsu ramen. Service was friendly but it took forever to get the ramen and it was not even busy. They seem to get a lot of take out orders

2021-12-14 03:56:05Super friendly service, and the best ramen I’ve ever had.Do not get over a 3 on the 1-10 spice scale unless you are a professional spicy ramen enjoyer…

2018-05-29 19:34:06Nice ramen. You come here for the ramen noodles, not the broth. Noodles are done just right, chewy yet fully cooked, thick yet flavorful. The broth needs to be improved because I was not impressed.

2023-03-08 18:58:15I wouldnt recommend coming here. The Ramen was super salty! The waitress kept badgering us to do a Yelp review, even though we didnt even get our meals yet! If you did a review, youll get a free Iced thai tea. Also, I didnt see any Asian person working there. So to me, thats a sign that the food would be bad. The appetizers didnt taste good either. It tasted as if the food was frozen, and they reheated it. The only positive was that they had free parking on the back!

2016-08-03 15:56:18The first ramen house Ive ever visited. It exceeded all of my expectations. I wish there was a location closer to where I lived. The Black Tonkotsu is a customer favorite which doesnt disappoint and the mochi is magnificent.
