This place was so yummy! We got the salmon roll, spicy tuna, and a ninja roll. All were amazing and a really good price for the amount and quality of the fish. We even given an appetizer on the house. Everyone there was very nice and welcoming. I definitely recommend everyone check this place out!

Literally the best sushi I have ever had in my life! I am in LOVE with Karashi Roll and the Flamango roll. Both the staff and the chef’s are kind, welcoming, and hilarious. This place in perfection from start to finish.

Phenomenal corona to-go sushi experience here. We got the crunch roll the tempura lobster roll the Philadelphia roll and some sushimi and it was the best local sushi we’ve had. Our hosts have lived there their whole lives and agreed. They have some local competition with more reviews so we almost passed them up but super glad we didn’t.

Food is great, chefs do a phenomenal job. Front staff are sub par. Im tired of having to audit every pickup order I place. Of the last 5 orders, 4 has had something missing and I have had to ask them to correct it.If you place a pick up order CHECK IT before you leave

The sushi was good quality, the non sushi options couldve used some work. The vegetables were unseasoned (not even salt added) and quite bland. The teriyaki chicken was able what you would expect from a Pick up Stix. Flame Broiler does a better job. The service left something to be expected. We kept having to flag the server down for more water, we had to remind them that we ordered the edemame, and had to ask them for soy sauce. Most other tables had some, but come on this is an Asian restaurant. Soy sauce is a pretty standard thing.

Great little sushi spot. The fish was fresh, the servers were super attentive, and the prices are very fair. If it wasnt 90 minutes from my house Id be here 3 times a week!!

Excellent sushi roll variety! Some creative rolls, each one we tried was delicious and presented beautifully. The roll with tempura onions on top was easily the best, and the onions were crisp and sweet.Service was friendly and fast, corrected a small misunderstanding right away. Well be happy to return!

Their service was amazing. And so was the food. We dined in and felt really safe and comfortable. The staff was so nice & caring. I can tell they were really appreciative of the fact that we were patient with them as they were getting multiple take out orders done. I felt like the wait wasn’t that long especially considering we dined in. The wait, however long, was worth it because they put so much love in those rolls. I enjoyed every single bite. Worth the wait. Worth the money & worth all of your time. Go ahead and see for yourself.

The food was pretty good, not amazing, but good.Service was a little lacking, first the took forever to take our order, then when it came, they delivered it to the wrong table. The servers do not know how to place food, so they reach between people to hand the food over to the far side of the table rather than placing plates from behind and directly in front of the guest. I believe the food should be placed from guests right. I digress, this isnt formal dining, it just annoys me when waitresses crowd me to stretch and reach all the way across the table to deliver food to the other side.Waitresses were not around to refill drinks or even check on us.The restaurant is a little pricey, all of the rolls are above what I am accustomed to paying, even from nicer restaurants. I also noticed that unlike most sushi restaurants I have been to, they do not include Miso soup.The restaurant is very small, but there wasnt really a wait to be seated.

Tampopo has been a favorite of our family for several years. The employees are very friendly and the food is excellent! They offer a wide variety of cooked and fresh rolls, as well as salmon, chicken and beef teriyaki, which are cooked just right. The restaurant can become very crowded so my husband and I usually try to go before or after their busiest time. I would recommend Tampopo to anyone!

Really good sushi. Had a baked salmon collar as well that was fantastic. Protein roll was incredible. Sakura roll was really good as well. Nigori sake was well balanced, not too sweet or dry. Definitely going to come back and explore the options further.

I had a great experience. I had a cactus roll, some sashimi, tempura, teriyaki, and gyoza, so I got to try almost everything. My verdict is they do very innovative things with unamazing ingredients. Thats my docked star from this review. It was fresh fish, it just wasnt really high quality; not super flavorful. That being said, it only really affected the sashimi.Dont come here for straight sushi, but do come here if you like rolls. Oh my goodness, the rolls here make the place! They have like 50 different rolls, cold and hot, fish and not, pure and creative: all kinds of rolls. They make up their own and theyre very creative. Try the hot rolls!Also its a Korean place, so if for some reason you need your sushi place to be run by Japanese people, this isnt your place. Its not a bad thing, they have great service here!
