I absolutely love this place. Ive driven past this restaurant for decades and recently stopped by and boy oh boy was I impressed. I now frequent Tams twice a month. The steak taco (with everything) is usually my go to. Ive tried their chicken quesadilla which was also delicious, the chicken salads are amazing finally I recently tried their breakfast burrito (1 steak and 1 bacon/sausage burrito) and was a little disappointed (it was extremely dry... next time Ill request sauce or ketchup/hot sauce inside) the prices are reasonable especially with the amount of food you get. Thank you Tams crew for making each visit worth the drive! (Porsche Lady from the Westside Lol)

Food was cool. But my ice smelled bad. I went back to tell the lady at the window and she acted like I was an alien talking a language she never heard before. Hope I dont get sick. I only noticed the smell once the soda was gone and I went to sip the leftover ice water. It tasted funny and smelled funny.

My favorite neighborhood burger spot. My personal faves or go tos are the pastrami which is plenty to share unless youre very hungry. Pastrami is perfectly seasoned and peppery. The chili fries and chili cheese fries are on point. On lighter days, the chicken salad is a perfect option, their chicken is very tasty, slight spice to it but perfect when craving something healthy and filling. Usually do drive thru but be patient, the taste of food is worth every minute.

Lets be honest their food hasnt changed after 10 years. It continues to be my comfort food and Ill always recommend the chili cheese fries. The Best in southern California, that being said service is fast and employees are respectful and attentive.The atmosphere is the average local burger joint. Dont expect luxury or servers. Its what you make of it that fits this place best.So if youre ever in the area, stop by and dont be shy.

I decided to visit this Tams location instead of the one of the one in the city of Paramount because this one is closer to my house. I should have went to the one in paramount on Alondra/Downey. I ordered a BLT with crispy bacon and a small fry. I received a BLT that had cold bacon on it and the french fries look like the last bit of fries left in the bag. I was really hoping that the food here would be just as good as the other location. Also the lady at the drive-thru window wasnt very nice. I asked for extra sauce understanding there is a charge and she slightly debated me on getting the extra sauce.

Staying in the area for a week and decided to treat myself to a nearby restaurant. The drive-thru line was full, but the dining area was empty. I got my order taken as soon as I entered and served shortly after. The lady who took my order spoke both English and Spanish. Theres a decent amount of vegetarian options, even though they are not as advertised as meat options. I had two cheese and bean burritos and a no-meat breakfast burrito. It seemed expensive until I got my order. The burritos are loaded; one burrito is enough to fill one person. Ask for a fork because the burrito will fall apart. All over all a pleasant experience!

I liked the food, but something seemed off. I ordered 2 pastrami meals. On the menu it said $11.49, but when I arrived at the drive thru it was charged as $19.99 per meal. I told the cashier that is high, and to let me see receipt. She stated that was the price and informed me prices went up. I also ordered Thousand Island dressing to which I was charged 50 cent and didn’t get. I like Tam’s, but I don’t think I will be returning to the location on Long Beach Blvd in Lynwood. The food here is pretty good. Be careful to make sure that if you order the chicken wing dinner, if dont want then to be spicy, make sure that you ask for no sauce. I may have looked at the menu wrong, but I believe that it says chicken wing dinner, not hot wing dinner. When I ordered I was expecting regular fried chicken wings, but as you can most likely guess, they were hot. I enjoyed them, but it just wasnt what I was expecting.

Only gave it 4 stars because a few nights ago I came with my wife on the drive thru, we were right behind one car and it was 5 minutes before closing. By the time we pulled up to the speaker to order they were closed. It took us a few minutes to realize it. They couldve said something like they closed already or no more cars after so and so. It was just dead silence. We thought that was pretty rude, the least they couldve said was f@$% off, were done for the night lol I would have understood. Oh and one more thing, as far as right now, it was closed even though the hours posted here on Google says they closed at 1am. To my knowledge, only Fri-Sun maybe a little later but during the week they close by midnight.

Clean place I like also that the restroom is outside and dont have to deal with unpleasant smells. They also have a small cart with all kinds of sides or stuff like ketchup,yellow jalapeños. This place is literally the spot guys. Anyone that lives in lynwood and near areas knows that Tams Burgers is the way to go. Literally nothing wrong with the food. I have tried most of their breakfast, burritos and french toast. There is actually something I would recommend.... The chilliCheese Fries! Omg they are good. They have plenty of cheese on top melted and it tastes so good. Definitely give it a chance if you are in the area. Drive through may be pack at certain hours. There are some homeless around the area so keep an eye. They also have an dine-in and 2 different areas to eat as well. They have a restroom but you have to ask for the key. They do charge for ranch and extra sauce.

This Burger is good for what it does. The selection is good but each cook doesnt cook as well as others, you can have a good meal, then have it the next day, not as good. One advice I would make is stop marinating the chicken is sucks, doesnt taste good, try something else maybe lemon or Orange. It really spoils the chicken. Thank you.

And im pretty sure they changed cashiers ya boy was a pothead can tell on how he replied to me at the menu xD by the time I got my food he said 13 something and I look later on in my bank account that it was 17 something. Check my food ended up giving me the wrong food and charged me for what my original order was gonna be even tho I didnt get the food I ordered. Forever the best burgers. Been coming here since I was little. Flavor is amazing and really good portions of their combos. Also, very good dressing. Only little complain is that they charge for their thousand dressing for 50 cents. I believe if you order a hamburger and fries that it should come with a dressing free and if you want more then one, then charge the 50 cents. Overall, very good. If I could give zero I would. Been going here a lifetime & continued whenever near even if out of the way. This was a horrible, expensive, argumentive, Mexican orientated experience. The food tastes like the grill needed cleaning & the service bad. Ex: when asked for a plastic bag to carry $33 worth of burgers couple fries & a burrito that others were being given with food placed in it-the counter girl snatched several bags from the hanger tossing them at me turning her back. Needless to say I wanted her to wear it all. She wasnt worth it. I can stop going there.

If Im being honest, there is only one reason I come here.. Well actually, make it two. For years this is to go to spot for hot wings, or the hot wing special. Theyre so damn good, that I can never bring myself to order anything else on the menu, for fear of missing out on my hot wings. The wings have this tangy addicting sauce, spicy for someone who doesnt eat spicy food. But theyre delicious and they serve about twelve or so wings alongside with their bountiful fries. Now the fries, they are another delicious addition to the meal. The serving size is a lot, with the right amounts of seasoned salt, paired with their delicious ranch, ( which I can never figure out where they get it from). Im getting a craving just describing it. Ketch-up and i get along fine, but when I can just dip the fries in the amazing wing sauce or in the tastiest ranch Ive ever had, the choice is easy. Now, on to the second reason I am the Duke and repeat offender.. Pastrami chili cheese fries. They need no introduction, just try them... In conclusion, Tams #9 is a great hole in the wall, large portions, good value and taste, but they are definitely not watching out for carbs. Ive had about five or six different items from here and I have not been disappointed yet, but I definitely have my favorites.

I have gone to this location, Tams #9, a few times, and to their site on Alameda, #23? Several times. Always good food, breakfast, lunch, or dinner, with large portions. Though, to be honest, I prefer the chilli-cheese fries from Louis Burger #II to those from either Tams locale. More meaty, less tomato sauce like. This site is tight, with a cramped, busy parking lot and drive thru. Be careful entering and exiting if you drive a large car, pickup truck, or minivan. Its a good place to eat, though.

This place is bomb no matter what time of day. And you get lots of food for your money. The french toast breakfast is my favorite for breakfast, for lunch basically whatever you like. For dinner I love the fried chicken dinner I order it with salad on the side.cause I dont like hot salad cause its in the same box and hot food makes salad wilt. But the chicken is the business. They give you healthy portions of whatever you order and though I now live in San Francisco, whenever I down in southern Cal. I still stop by and pick up something to eat. I love there food. This place never sleeps, always packed but they move fast. I love the chile cheese fries, always hot and fresh. They arent stingy with the food lol they will definitely load you up. I cant even finish half of the plate but its worth every bite! They also have some hot wings that are amazing, the sauce is sweet and hot but once you start you cant finish. Even if I dont order the wings I still get some of the wing sauce to go. Its one of those flavors you cant find anywhere.

Tams is like your regular neighborhood burger joint that has an extensive menu. I had a Coloso Burger and my brother had the Western Burger. Combos are priced right at about $10 a combo. Combo gets you a drink, fries and a burger. They dont skimp on the fries. A generous portion was served with our meals. The burger was very juicy and tasted very good. Staff was friendly and place was fairly clean.

I have been going to Tams for several years. It is a Lynwood staple. I used to love this place when I was a high school student. It was cheap and the taste was delicious. However, as the years have gone by my taste in food has grown. I recently visited in July 2018, and I wasnt to satisfied with my experience.1. Service: The drive-thru service is notorious at Tams. That has not changed. You pull up, and you can kind of make out what the cashier is telling you. There really isnt a friendly welcoming, no courtesy, and no total cost provided to the customer.2. Food: The food is okay. Nothing great or good. But not bad either. When you bite into their french fries you also sample cheap and perhaps reused frying oil. The buns used on all their burgers are ridiculously thick. The buns are not genuine, and are just used for filler purposes. The meat patty is nothing great either, and the quality is just not great.Essentially, I would not recommend Tams. It was good when I was younger, and perhaps that is why till this day when you visit you tend to encounter various teens and young people.If you want a good burger, then go to In-n-out or 5 Guys.
