Found this place looking for halal food. The rack of lamb is 4 pieces! Look at how much meat is on them. The garlic & chili & cilantro naan was the best I’ve ever had! The service was exceptional, it’s family friendly, and you need to check this place out! $14.99 weekday lunch special! What?!?!?!?!

Had the pleasure of hosting my colleagues for a dinner at Tandoori Palace after a major accomplishment! They didnt disappoint! Food and service were both excellent. I used to go there till 2017 when it was Passage to India. Didnt know what to expect today. Dinner was really worth it. My colleagues who had non-veg entrees loved them. Out vegetarian dishes were also very good.

Visiting the Carlsbad area looking for good Indian food? Tandoori Palace is an excellent choice! No wait, no reservation required on a Saturday night. We ordered onion bahji, mild butter chicken, spicy shrimp saag, and garlic naan. The butter chicken was perfect for my kids who dont do well with spicy dishes, and my husband said the spicy shrimp saag was perfectly hot but didnt mask the flavor. The staff was attentive and very polite. Highly recommend!

Attentive and friendly staff. Enjoyed the food very much. Serving sizes are huge. Ordered Yellow Daal and butter chicken with Naan basket and took about half of it home (split between two of us) with tummies full.The only complaint would be the phone timing was a bit loud in the main area- but they did have lovely middle eastern atmospheric music playing that was romantic and sweet. We Will come back!!

We ordered the Vegetable Pakora as an appetizer. Then we got the Chefs Naan basket which had: a mixture of plain naan, garlic naan & cheese naan. Then for the main course we got Gobi Manchurian and Paneer Tiki Marsala. We also were supposed to get the Malai Kofta but the waiter it was his 3rd day so he messed it up and never put it on our order. Anyways we didnt pay for it so it was chill. The Gobi Manchurian was spicy for me so we got a yogurt sauce to dip everything in. Also I feel like they shorted us on the rice as well. Other than that all the food was very good.

Visited on a weekday, they had a lot of pick-up orders and less dine-in people. It had impact on the service time and quality both as we were dining in.They have many vegetarian options in both starters and main course category. Their veg and paneer pakoda were good.Their Baingan Bharta (Brinjal Curry) is a must try as it is something different than regular curries and has original smokey flavour. Overall it was above average but I believe they can improve a lot in bringing actual Punjabi taste to the food. Their prices were on higher side compared to the taste and quantity.

If you are craving Indian punjabi dhaba food, this is your place . Had the most amazing food . We came in ready to settle for American version of Indian food but we were amazed to find freshly made hot buttered up tandoori roti’s and yummiest saag paneer and daal tarka . My pickiest 6 yr old ate very well n on his own, this is how good the food was .Owner Mr. Ranjit and his whole staff is so polite welcoming and kind, they offered us “ adrakh wali chai “ after dinner . This whole experience made me crave for their tandoori aloo parantha and surely there we were again 11 am to have their special “ adrakh chai “ ( ginger tea) and tandoori paranthas . My first time trying indian food, my sister and her husband loved the food here. They said the Masala was one of the best theyve ever had. I learned that Indian food wasnt for me but the food was still of great quality, just not my taste. What really got me to write a review was the impeccable service. The server noticed I was a bit unhappy with my dish and came around to ask if he could give me another dish to try at no additional cost. While I didnt take the offer because I didnt want them to lose money because of my picky eating habits, I was extremely impressed and overjoyed by the attentive nature and genuine care given by our server. I’ve been coming here for almost 9 years and can say this is my favorite Indian restaurant, by far, in all of San Diego county. It’s been the same owner this whole time and the food has been consistently excellent. Over the years they have had a fairly high serving staff turnover, which sometimes leads to less than great service, but overall it’s still good. The Navratan Korma and Mango chicken are absolutely sublime ... you must try them.

We went for afternoon lunch. the buffet was well stocked fro vegan to meat eater, and i loved that they had tofu korma :). the naan came out very quickly and the mango lassi, though it was not as strong as i am used to, it was still refreshing and yummy. i loved the decor too. i just with the bathroom was a bit prettier (its bare bones more so).

Excellent food and superb customer service. We hosted my daughters 5th birthday and blindly picked this restaurant. We were pleasantly happy with our whole experience there. My toddlers are very particular about spicy level and certain dishes we requested as the butter chicken, tandoori chicken and lamb vindaloo were mild as requested (other Indian restaurants promise mild however what they think is a mild level was not mild) unlike here. As for the rest of our party, they love it hot and spicy and this place nailed it on the hot level. Their lamb biryani was my favorite dish. Full of flavor and generous portioning. Another favorite was the yogurt ground lamn kabobs. The host and staff were very accommodating, friendly and took such good care of us. We highy recommend this place and plan to return soon.

I was looking for a buffett since I was very hungry and chose this place. They did not have a buffett anymore, so I had the 10.99 dlls special. It was a good decision, had the tandoori chicken plate that comes with jasmine rice, salad and a spicy potatoes dish as well. Also a rice pudding dessert that was delicious. The portions are generous and I didnt really miss the buffett. The plate was spicy but not flaming burn your mouth spicy, just perfect for me. The service is excellent! It was a good find.

I went here to pick up an Uber eats order & this Caucasian man comes in about 3 minutes later (btw I am African American.) . And the waiter comes and approaches him first after I been standing there for 7 minutes even tho we were clearly in line and he was behind me .
