Food was fresh and flavorful. The spicy fried rice was awesome. Flavors were comforting and portions were generous. We loved sitting on the patio, and on Saturday morning/early afternoon you may catch live music in the courtyard. Our server was very kind. Dog friendly! We will be back again soon!

We ate at this place during a recent visit to the Santa Barbara area. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was fine but not spectacular. The atmosphere was not quite fast food and not quite sit-down. It was something in between. Overall, it’s a fine option for decent Thai food.

Clean, new, updated, fast food style of ordering Thai food. The butterfly tea is a fascinating hit: power tea arrives hot and blue, and a squeeze of lemon turns is purple. Outdoor eating is a hot, trendy place to relax and take time to eat. The pad thai is very sweet and okay. Portions are on the small side. Big noodles dish was okay too but maybe it need some more sauce or flavor. This is not authentic Thai, but it has appeal in other ways.

I was surprised by the elegance of the restaurant. The option to have table service was an added bonus. Our food was fresh and hot! We will definitely be coming back again soon.

Great Thai food in Goleta!TAP is the perfect mix of good food, fast service, and good prices.Ive been there for lunch and dinner many times, with work colleagues and with family.It is consistently very good food made with fresh ingredients. The service is friendly and responsive. The prices are reasonable as well.They have lots of choices for vegetarian or meat-based dishes, and have a selection of local beer and wine as well.Recommended!

Everything is super oily and salty. I ordered spicy basil and pad thai, they don’t taste like thai food at all, not authentic. Two stars are for the great environment and good service, but the food is really disappointing.

Ordered a soup to go at their Hollister location. Sadly I waited for 37 minutes while sitting down on one of their booths...but my order never came. 2 girls walked in a few minutes after I ordered and they got served a fw minutes later...same thing happened with another couple who sat in the booth in front of me..food looked amazing, BTW.I wish some had the attention to ask me about my order, tho. The only reason why I did not speak or complain is that everyone was enjoying a nice dinner and having a good time...It doesnt feel right to cause a disturbance for other clients. I hope this helps prevent similar incidents in the future. As for the order, I truly hope one of their employees enjoyed it later this night.No hard feelings. It can happen to anyone.

Our favorite Thai spot in Santa Barbara! We love getting their Khao Soi Gai noodle, which is a very popular street food in Thailand. It is a delicious coconut curry base soup with noodles, we love it!!! Their Tap Signature Pad Thai is also amazing - one of the best weve tried so far. Drunken noodles tasted good until almost finishing the plate, I found a hair in my noodles. Told the waitress, they were nice about it and didnt charge me. I probably will come back after some heavy drinking in the future

Randomly walked in and the food turned out to be really delicious! Ordered the pad Thai $18.50 & tom kha $10. I’m an Asian & I approved. Amazing food, keep it up.

Rich, savory, spicy, and authentic Thai food. While the menu is small, they focus on quality which is evident from the first bite. The interior is industrial, the service is friendly and efficient. A nice addition to the emerging culinary landscape of western Goleta.

Everything about this place caught our attention: namely,the walk-up order line was short and easy, the super-attentive service, and the Pad Thai was some of the freshest/most flavorful tasting weve had. Glad they moved out to Goleta, from SB. As locals, we will def return.

Really nice and clean Thai food spot. It’s in a nice and convenient shopping mall. Not the most authentic Thai food but that is expected. The spicy drunk noodles are my favorite and the Thai ice tea is a must. I would rate this as one of my top 3 Goleta/Santa Barbara Thai spots. Also nice to have a good Thai spot in Goleta!

New restaurant in Goleta! The cashiers/food runners are very green... but the little nuances of food and beverage service will improve as they keep practicing (like mise en place, and offering water refills with the water pitcher already in hand). Overall I would say I am VERY impressed with how engaged the staff is & how genuinely kind and excited they are to be working at TAP Thai. Great start!

We had family lunch; drunken noodles, soup, Salmon salad and Shrimp roll.. everything were well cooked and perfectly seasoned and tasty. Must try if you are visiting Santa Barbara and would like to have some Thai food.

The chicken in the pad thai is always, always dry or overcooked. But it is fantastic otherwise. Please fix the chicken! Great tofu too.

Very nice service but not Thai. Cant say this is Thai food. Pad thai is white, green curry is creamy and white. No flavor.

This is some of the worst Thai food Ive ever had. The pad Thai was mushy and super sweet with no balance of flavors traditionally provided by tamarind. The glass noodle salad was just a big glob of noodles dropped onto a bed of spring salad mix (not a Thai thing) with a scant amount of dressing and no flavor. The lahrb was like sawdust, so dry with no chicken stock base or toasted rice powder. It was served over wilting romaine hearts that were mostly tough core. The sticky rice was re-heated, dry and not sticky. This is not true Thai food in any way.

Ive tried the pad Thai and friend Rice, both were very good, but definitely catered toward people who dont usually eat thai food. Lovely atmosphere and kind staff, good for a first date.
