I was craving Tapsilog so we drove for more than an hour to try Tapsilog Cantina. The ambiance feels like home, the servers and owner were friendly. The service was fast and the food servings were large. The food was good and we will surely come back!

Food is like home and made fresh to order so be patient. Our waitress was overwhelmed but sweet. We ordered at the front since we were in a hurry. Ordered Bang Silog. Im not a fan of milk fish but this was fried just right where I can still enjoy biting the fish meat without it being too dry. I appreciated the condiments displayed on the table. I felt like I was in the Philippines. Busy place. Seating outdoors is nice with the astroturf. Owner was running around greeting guests. Will definitely come back for dinner some day.

A Filipino Delight in Santa Clara!I recently had the pleasure of dining outside at Tapsilog in Santa Clara on a Sunday morning with a party of 8 and I must say it was a delightful experience. As a Filipino food enthusiast, Im always on the lookout for authentic flavors, and Tapsilog did not disappoint. The ambiance outside was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a casual meal with friends or a family gathering. The menu offered a wide variety of Filipino dishes.I ordered the lychee sangria (20oz), sizzling pork tator tots with sisig with a side of garlic rice. The pork sisig was amazing, perfectly cooked, and had the fries had right amount of flavor. The garlic fried rice was fragrant and of course, the lychee sangria paired perfectly on this warm morning. My wife ordered the keto burrito with tocino. The portion size was generous (feeds two people) and the prices were reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. The service was friendly and attentive (if you sit outside, order inside before seating), adding to the overall enjoyable experience. If youre craving authentic Filipino cuisine in Santa Clara, Tapsilog is the place to be. Whether youre a Filipino food aficionado or new to this cuisine, I highly recommend giving Tapsilog a try. Its a taste of the Philippines right here in California!

Shout out to Collin the best server! We came here for the first time to celebrate my wifes fathers 60th birthday. We called ahead because we had a big group of 9. They assured us they could accommodate. When we arrived we were greeted by a friendly server who worked with us to combine tables for the perfect setup. Everything couldnt have worked out better! We ordered drinks and dove into the menu. So many great options! We had quite the feast. Personally I ordered the dinuguan combo. It was really good and Id recommend it to anyone. Dont be shy! Other standouts from the table were the lumpia, lechon kawali, and crispy pata. After we arrived the place filled up fast. Our server Collin did an amazing job serving everyone, basically by himself. The place was packed but Collin never got flustered. He made sure everyone was taken care of and did great at multitasking all the tables. Thank you to Collin for making our special occasion a memorable one. Everyone left happy and full!Well for sure be back again and cant wait to recommend to friends. Kain tayo!

I love this place! Filipino food is my soul food and it can always lift my spirits up. This food is on point to what Filipino food should be and great pride and passion is put into this food. Anytime I tell people or when they ask me where to get good Filipino food I always recommend this place first. The owner is such a great guy and really loves connecting with people. The staff are friendly and they all set a great atmosphere for people to enjoy their experience here. Its my second time in but I guarantee you it will not be my last!

This place is a diamond in the rough! The staff is incredibly helpful and courteous. I’m pretty sure Uncle Ed himself was here on Saturday personally seeing everyone was enjoying themselves. He personally wanted to make sure my infant was comfortable outside. The food is classic Filipino, and there are unlimited mimosas available. The food was fresh, the juices amazing. The fried egg was a perfect medium, which is very rare in the food industry for the low prices you’ll see here. They specifically call out vegetarian and vegan options (separately so you know for sure).Inside the cleanliness is deceptive. Bathrooms are spotless and smell like they were cleaned “just 2 minutes ago”COVID? You can see all the staff, cooking or otherwise due to the layout of the restaurant. Masks are always worn properly and never removed. Will I return? Absolutely! Would I recommend this to literally everyone I know? Absolutely!

Sorry but what gives them the right to add cost of living expense? Customers never receives costs of living expenses from our government. Just is not right. And the food was very bland. No taste and meat not tender. Not very good for Pilipino food cuisine. Costs far too high. Not recommended.

We ordered when they opened @ 11am. We chose the Pork Sisig, Lechon Kawali and the Fried Chicken to go. It took about 20 minutes to receive our order. While we were waiting, we didnt catch his name but we believe hes the owner. As soon as we entered, he greeted us with Welcome Home thought that was kool. When we opened the containers, the lechon looked yummy but the chicken looked dry. The sisig, we like ours to be crispy. So I sauteed it in bacon fat. It tasted much better afterwards. Also, the lechon was chewy from being over cooked and the chicken was too dry from being fried too long. I guess that dont do quality control before serving it!We really wanted to find another Filipino restaurant. Very disappointed. Unfortunately, we wont be back.

Absolutely amazing food - the lechon & lumpia in particular are juicy, crunchy, and paired with a delightfully sweet sauce. Dont forget to get the Halo Halo as well, SO good!As if that werent enough the service is also spectacular. Such a cute place with a fun outdoor dining area perfect for casual eats or scratching that Filipino comfort food itch!(Pictured: Combo 1, 5, and Halo Halo!)
