Great new joint in the Portola. The ingredients were really fresh. The flavors as amazing. Ordered a super veggie burrito & chili relleno burrito. Both really huge. The chips were crispy too! We topped the meal off with some of the flan ( so good). Will definitely be back ( great to have more options here in the Portola ) …. ohh the art was pretty cool.

Nice Mexican Restaurant, have many Catrinas, I discovered in 2426 San Bruno Ave, San Francisco. I ate a Molcajete was incredible, good taste! Friendly customer service.

The combination of perfectly seasoned tofu, fresh vegetables, and a variety of flavorful sauces made for a mouthwatering delight. The portion was generous, leaving me more than satisfied.But the delights didnt stop there. The nachos were a hit at our table. They were a perfect blend of crispy chips smothered in cheese and topped with an array of mouthwatering ingredients.For those who love meat, the super burrito carne asada is a must-try. The succulent carne asada was perfectly cooked and paired with a medley of fresh ingredients, creating a burrito that was not only enormous in size but also incredibly delicious. We also ordered bean and cheese nachos and meat nachos. The bean and cheese nachos were a delightful combination of creamy beans and gooey cheese, while the meat nachos were a carnivores dream come true. One thing that struck me about Taquería Las Katrinas was the generous portions they serve. This restaurant is a gem in the culinary scene of the Portola neighborhood. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a welcoming atmosphere that made me feel at home.Las Katrinas specialty is burritos, quesabirrias and molcajetes, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint me at all. The burritos were simply delicious. They were generously filled with fresh, flavorful ingredients, and the flavor was authentic and satisfying. Each bite was an explosion of flavors that transported me directly to Mexico.However, what really captivated me was the quesabirria. This dish is a perfect combination of a burrito and a quesadilla filled with juicy meat and melted cheese. The outside was perfectly browned and crispy, while the inside was tender and full of flavor. I cant express how delicious it was. It is definitely a must-try in Las Katrinas.Also, I cant fail to mention the molcajetes. These traditional Mexican dishes presented in an authentic stone molcajete were impressive. They were filled with tender meat, spicy sauce, beans, guacamole and melted cheese. Each spoonful was a perfect combination of textures and flavors, and the molcajete added a special touch to the presentation.The service at Las Katrinas was exceptional. The staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the dishes they offered.
