Recently opened nice Mexican restaurant with full menu including all kinds of beverages. Order at counter, nice seating arrangement, reasonable prices, friendly people. Everything here in two visits has been great, and I love those spicy carrots!

The service was mostly self-service but the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.In addition, the food was extremly tasty. As an Eastern European I am by no means an expert on mexican cuisine but my tortilla was extremely tasty. Everything fit perfectly and nothing was out of place for my liking. The tortilla was nicely seasoned and the hot sauce was nicely balanced out by the carrot, cactus and bland chips.All in all a very good place to eat.

Amazing service! Everyone was so friendly & were happy to tell us all about their menu. The restaurant is very clean & got a very nice makeover. All of the food was completely delicious! The taco platter was very filling. All the ingredients were fresh, the salsas were flavorful, and the meats (I tried pollo, asada, & al pastor) were so good! My partner got a birria burrito, which was impressive in both size and flavor. Finished the meal with some sweet pineapple & vanilla ice creams. The whole experience was incredible & this restaurant will be thrown into our regular rotation from now on.

2nd time coming here. Had the Taco plate combo with carne asada, rice and beans. The meat was flavorful and on handmade corn tortillas. Loved the Spanish rice, one of the best tasting rice I’ve had. Ordered the horchata and the cinnamon flavor was spot on.. not watered down like other places. The service was quick and we will continue to support this new restaurant!

Very good food. The best Michelada ever. Good location. Nice people. A little spendy though. Street tacos were $5 bucks each. Im sure the location is driving the prices up. I hear the truck, same owner, in Grover Beach sells the tacos for less.

We had the birra quesa tacos and two Al pastor tacos, and two micheladas. Everything was so good, especially the micheladas! Nice and clean inside and the staff was very friendly. We will be coming back again.

We were walking by and they were handing out small cups of salsa amd chips. It was so good we turned around and decided to order some tacos.We went in to order from the cashier, I asked if they had a couple more chips so I could fi ish the salsa in the cup. You would have thought I asked for her first child. She dismissively said we could buy some. I said no- thats fine just throw the rest of this away then.Im not eating salsa alone. We then proceeded to order our food and a tres leches cake.Besides the rude and completely unfriendly service of the cashier, the food was really good.Not fabulous enough to bring us back due to the service but was good!

Went there today for the first time. I wanted to order the hole menu. It all looked all so good. Tried the Asada torta. Chips and salsa. Wow. Salsa was awesome. Meal was good size that I ate the hole thing. This place is a must to try. Tried the ice cream and wow. Homemade. Saw the owner Denise there and told her food service and atmosphere was great. Thank you and will be back.

Y’all NEED to stop by this place, especially if you are looking for a small family-owned restaurant!! The food is incredible, the birria tacos consommé are the best. You know how you can just tell that certain foods have been hand-made… these are hand-made!! (Better than ya mamma’s cooking) I got to talk to the owners, Denise and Oscar. They are the sweetest and most welcoming people. I love that even a broke college student (me) can afford their restaurant. 10/10 would recommend to anyone stopping by Pismo!!

The food was delicious! I just got a carne asada burrito but it was probably the best I’ve had. Fresh tortilla and the meat was seasoned perfectly! My family loved it too, and we’ve tried lots of Mexican food and this is now one of our favorites!
