Wow! Mexican food perfection! I ordered the tostada mixta with octopus and shrimp as well as 4 quesabirria tacos with dipping broth. Every single thing we ate was incredibly delicious. The most impressive thing to us besides the freshness was how every single ingredient was discernable in the dishes. Sometimes a single ingredient will overpower a dish and will obscure the flavors of the other ingredients - not here! Amazing! Even the corn chips were crispy, light, and had just enough oil to fry them. The salsa bar has about ten different salsas and foods. SO fresh, SO delicious and vibrant. There were about 6 seafood dishes that Ive never heard of before! This place will delight your taste buds! Very friendly and helpful service.

Delicious food, large portions. Service was very friendly and professional...much appreciated. We enjoyed eating outside on the small patio. Husband likes spicy and found the salsa to his liking. I had the huge Taco Salad, able to eat about half. Husband had the 4 Quzabirrias tacos, said he would have been satisfied with 3, but he kept eating, lol. We were both very happy and will be back.

With no disrespect meant to the other Mexican restaurants in Nevada County this is my new favorite Mexican restaurant, hands-down.This is a new family run place. The only thing I’ve had is the Baja fish taco which is exceptional. I also have a wonderful pineapple, cucumber juice that’s not overly sweet.The family is incredibly kind and checks in to make sure that everything‘s OK. Looking forward to trying other things on the menu, but overall outstanding experience, now twice at this place.

Look, weve eaten Mexican food all over NorCal, but rarely have eaten SO FRESH and expertly prepared as Taco Loco at a reasonable price point. The soups are particularly excellent especially in winter! Any time we drive thru Nevada City, well stop again.

Went in this morning for breakfast burrito, and was not disappointed!! The tortilla shells are just right, authentic with fire oven taste, the beans with mole sauce and potatoes and eggs, salsa. Just really hit the spot!! Thank you. We have a winner here peeps!

Very delicious and authentic food. The carnitas was superb and everything people had at the table was served in generous portions and made with delicious ingredients. Excellent margaritas!

Awesome carne asada burrito, and extensive menu. Open on thanksgiving - the only place in town!

The food was of very high quality. Portions are large. Seems evident that a lot of care is going into food prep. We will return.

Huge menu, absolutely fresh and authentic food. Youre missing out if you dont try it. And 4% discount for cash!
