Wow! The burritos here are SO good, especially the breakfast burrito. Weve tried a lot of local places as we moved to SFV a year ago and this is our favorite so far.Tried:- Everything asada burrito - doesnt look special when you cut into a cross section but the flavors of the meat is so well done it carries the burrito. Only small amounts of cilantro and onion and avocado but it really celebrates the asada- Breakfast burrito with bacon - probably best breakfast burrito weve ever had. It has rice which is different than other places but everything is mixed together so well and flavorful- asada Torta - perfect ratio of bread vs. MeatWill be back for other dishes 🥰

This is our new go-to taco spot! The owners (husband and wife) are so nice and the tacos absolutely slap. Very delicious. Asada and chorizo were my favorite, but they were honestly all great. Can’t wait to go back and try more on the menu like their shrimp (grilled) tacos and fish (fried) tacos, Cali burrito, breakfast burritos, and more.

I seriously eat at Taqueria Juanitos at least three times a week on my lunch break. Honestly the best Mexican fast food that I have tried. Always consistent. I have included a couple pictures of things I enjoy from there including torta, enchiladas and tacos.

Wet burrito is amazing but everything here is quality! Breakfast is also very good. Can get busy during lunch/ early afternoon because of the high school across the street but normally not a long wait.

I was in the area and came across this great place. I got a burrito that was big with lots of great tasting meat, rice, beans, etc. This is definitely a great place to get a great meal at a great price. Love it and will keep coming 👍

Let me tell you. This is a place you want to go and enjoy amazing food. The food taste is a great tradition taste and make you feel home. The staff is amazing. Co owned. And Maria is the best. Greeted me and my friend. Help us with our non decision making skills as we didnt know what to order. As everything on the menu is amazing. Fast service and great lay out. A little hole in the wall in a small shopping center. Kind employees, good food, didnt take too long and a clean little shop. Would recommend. I ordered a chicken wet burrito with verede sauce. It was delicious.

I dont typically give out 5 stars at all but this place deserves it. Excellent service and great Mexican food. I ordered asada fries and a taco plate AND a burrito. Dude! So good and at such a good price point. The meat was tender and juicy and the green sauce was on point. I will be coming back.

This is the best Mexican food in the valley. The only problem is that the hours are not great if you have a job, and theres no delivery options. Great problems to have, but not when I cant make it to the restaurant.If you are in the area, this is the only LA Mexican restaurant that has a great California burrito.

I went in today and they were playing salsa music. My favorite jams too. I always go in for a breakfast burrito with. Carne asada and potatoes. They always make it good. The service is very good too. Never a bad experience. I drive from palmdale on my days off just for them.👍👍👍👍👍

Service was below basic to be honest. Not the worst but not good.They took long to make our order and as they were calling orders i noticed they kept on mixing up peoples orders you can see the customers facial expression showed they were annoyed.The food itself wasnt good I think they use precooked frozen meet because their asada tastes like the premade one from Vallarta

I finally tried this place and it was 🔥The carne asada burrito was so good. Its huge and so flavorful. I love the different combinations you can try. I also tried the fish taco and it was also really good. I could have eaten like 5 of them. There were so many things I wanted to try!! Oh and they also have vegetarian options. Which looked really good too. The customer service was amazing. The girl upfront was so nice and welcoming. The cook was cool too. I really like the way they treated customers. Super friendly and down to earth. If youre in the area give it a try!Ill definitely be back for more!

Update 12/7/21 - I got the shrimp tacos on 12/3 and ordered them again today. Can we say consistency? HELL YES. I cant believe I hadnt tried the shrimp tacos until a few days ago. Dont sleep on this place. Get the spicy salsa!!!Good tacos. Nice people that work there. Fast service.

The cashier was nice. My cousin who goes to the high school close by said that they had good carne asada fries. I tried them. They were terrible unfortunately. The meat wasnt flavorful at all and was so greasy it went right through me. Fries were undercooked. Salsa was spicy yet still not flavorful. 3 of the thinnest slices of avocado youve ever seen, like one real slice cut into three. For that and a Coke it was like 12 bucks. Waste of money.

Never had an issue with Juanitos food. I love their shrimp tacos and burritos. Asada fries real popular with the high schoolers. When my son was at BCCHS they were huge supporters of the lacrosse team. Their menudo always runs out. Owner is very sweet and nice.

*Pro tip, plan your trip! Far easier to pull in going west on Victory Blvd or going North on Balboa.Ive eaten here a few times and it is now becoming a regular spot. The food is amazing! We keep ordering the asada fries because they are comfort food goodness. I tried the Cali burrito tonight.... I may have a new favorite burrito... But need to try it at least two or three more times to be sure ;)Friendly staff and super tasty food!!

I feel bad for my friends, they wanted to eat pho and I insisted to come here since they have really good reviews, I guess we had very bad luck and the cook wasnt feeling good at all. Menudo was warm, almost cold, not flavor, and the serving was miserable, green enchiladas were salty and not good, the lady who helped us was nice tho, but sorry, I had to leave this review because to be honest this was one of the worst menudos I have ever had

We love Juanito’s! Found them during quarantine on one of the food delivery apps. Carne Asada fries and tacos were delicious! ALSO I ordered chicken tacos for my 15 month old daughter and asked for no seasoning. They called me when they were making it (I was away from my phone) and left a handwritten note on the to-go box explaining that they only cooked the shredded chicken tacos with tomato sauce, and they hoped the baby liked them. So sweet! Our daughter loved the tacos, the note was so thoughtful, and Juanito’s is now our favorite taco place. Great food and a personal touch.

The best Mexican place ever. I went here during high school in the 90s and would return once every five years when I was in town and the flavor has stayed the same. Excellent huevos rancheros, good and hot salsas, fat and delicious burritos (the veggie and the mojado), good cheese quesadillas, and quality customer service even coping with covid. Best taqueria in Van Nuys, probably the valley. Best place to eat after class. Quality is always consistent and has been for years. Run by great, friendly people. I’d recommend the burritos/wet burritos, taquitos (with rice and beans to dip), and the legendary asada tacos. I got some to cater a college event, and many of my peers had to ask where I got them from. If you like Mexican food this little spot will not disappoint.
