I recently moved to Vallejo four months ago. I’ve made it a point to check out every Mexican food place and see which one was the best. Let me tell you Taqueria has exceeded my expectations!! They are by far the best Mexican food I’ve ever had and not just here, they are better than any place I’ve been to in my life. The customer service is EXCELLENT the establishment is always clean, very clean. The prices did surprise me because after I tasted my food, I just couldn’t figure out why they aren’t CHARGING MORE!! 😀 10/10

Strange. I got a shrimp burrito here and it was good. But I just went and got a chicken burrito and it made me throw up. It tasted really strange. I asked the lady about getting a refund and she refused, she didnt even try and offer something else in exchange. I only ate a few bites. I wont be going back here ever again. I dont recommend this place at all.The burrito was much smaller this time. Not sure where the quality and taste went, but its gone now.I went again, and its been a while since Ive gone. I wont have a chicken burrito again, but the shrimp burritos have all been great tasting. But I will say, the 1st one I bought was large, now they are always very slim and dont have the same number of shrimp as before. It makes it hard to come back when things change. Itll probably be a long time before I come back.

This place is sooo good! My husband doesnt like everyones tacos but these are amazing ! They have fresh Agua Fresca, none of that fake stuff. And their beans and burritos are to DIE for. And it tastes good the next day which is not common for taquerias. Its also a taquiera with a drive through so one would think it was eww but nope its delicious!! They have a rewards program and delivery too!! None of that Door Dash fees and stuff. I was sad that I just found this place right before I move but they have a place in Richmond too 😆 ! So happy.Love this place.

Finally Vallejo gets a serious authentic Mexican restaurant!!! We are close neighbors and completely thrilled these great people have finally opened. 3 meals so far! Wet red burrito is tasty and huge! Fresca bisteca! It’s just awesome. Obviously they are opening slowly & without a lot of fanfare. It’s just solid food and my wife & me cannot be happier…. 🥹

Everything i ordered was off in someway, the tacos were bland, flavorless with low quality steak. The chorizo queso dip isnt even queso, its melted sprinkled cheese with chorizo sprinkled on top, you cant even dip in the cheese, because its not a sauce. The nacho fries were horrible, soggy fries, Underwhelmed for first try

My favorite new spot, tacos de carnitas y al pastor pretty good, loved the horchata but ice coffee was pretty impressed 👌 service was excellent. Its definitely my new spot for tacos on my drill weekends.

I judge a Mexican restaurant by their Lengua tacos. This place has some of the most tender lengua I’ve ever tried. It was delicious. I’ve tried it in tacos and burritos and it doesn’t disappoint. A little hidden gem in Vallejo. Def adding them to my Mexican food restaurant rotation.

I have been here several times since they opened. I have only ordered the flautas and quesadillas. Both are excellent. I lived in Mexico for a year and the flautas and quesadilla cheese is mostly on par with what you would find there. The only gripe I have is that the corn tortillas are not corn. They are flour, or at best a mixture of corn and flour. The cheese seems mixed with cheddar which I sometimes also find in Mexico, though its not my favorite. The flautas are larger than what I am used to. But, this is Vallejo and clean fresh Mexican food is needed here so I am giving them five stars. If this was Mexico I would give them 4 stars because they do not have a spit with adobada and they do not have mulitas.
