I came here for lunch around 1:30pm on a Saturday. I was seated right away and my server, Grant was great right off the bat. I got water right away and my drink order was taken quickly along with food. I got the Young Woo which was recommended by my server and it was very flavorful and well presented.I also got the trio meal with truffle fries. I will say that the flavor was there, everything was well seasoned. The only issue that I had with the sliders was the ratio of bread to lettuce to meat. There was way too much lettuce in the sliders. It just felt like it was compensating for the lack of protein but I rather have had a well balanced slider than a whole salad in each slider. It was just comical.That aside, the ambience was nice, decor was chic with a modern vibe and outdoor seating available. My server Grant was excellent, he checked in after the first couple bites and got my boxes and my check right away when asked as well. Top notch service. The only thing I would improve is the slider ratio.

Taste is a great sit down restaurant for both good vibes and low-key eatery.It has a lot of options ranging from sliders, mac and cheese, brusselsprouts, salads, and even fish burgers.The menu is crafted where you can choose a duo, trio, or quartet and its very small portion sizes but can fill you up easily.Everyone usually recommends a mac and cheese, a fall or italian brusselsprouts and some kinda slider or fish burgerThe drinks are also pretty good if you wanna try them out.Parking is easy in the lot but if there is none there is free street parking on the side

Starting with the positives, our server was amazing and friendly. Sweet potato fries and a sweet waffle bowl was amazing! Unfortunately the rest of the food was disappointing. The drink was too sour, the bowls left a lot to bed desired.

Cool place where you can customize a meal with multiple small dishes. I got the Mac and cheese (wasn’t cheesy at all except for the top layer of cheese), the bah bah slider (lamb patty was kind of dry, and the spin master salad (spinach was fresh, but the onions/peppers were too soggy)

Don’t know why but was skeptical upon arrival. Maybe busy street side location but inside it’s very inviting and comfortable.Really friendly staff. Service was perfect, attentive without being disruptive.Menu is unique to me and I loved it. You basically pick 2-4 options at a set price. Essentially making up ala cart to create your own dish.Recommend and would return.

Great sliders, loved the mini ciabatta bread they came in. These are not normal little sliders but a medium size burger a little smaller than in and out burgers. They are not so small. Come in so many flavors and the ones we had were all very good. The Mac and cheese were good in terms of taste but dry, would not recommend. Same w the Brussels sprouts - dry. Wings and Brie platter as appetizers were very good, although the wings were a little small and not many included. Overall no issue w food. Would go back for that. The issue was the service. Very patchy. Our waitress came to greet us, take drinks order then to forge we to come back to take our food order. Then we hardly saw her except almost towards the end. She wasn’t new as she seems one of the more seasoned waiters but I guess they are there primarily to greet and smile. The waitstaff who came to deliver our order weren’t well trained, forgot plates, etc … and no one came to check on us unless we hailed them, which we really shouldn’t have to do numerous times. Some tables seemed to have good servers. We were not one of these.

So many options. I got trio and chose a blue burger slider, French Brussel sprouts and the Mac and cheese. Let me start by saying these Brussels sprouts were the best thing I ate. Perfectly cooked with some crunch and very flavorful with the balsamic. Mac and cheese was good maybe my combo of cheeses wasn’t the best since the feta cheese was burnt on top. Was somewhat disappointed by the slider though. The bread was not soft and the ciabatta bread just overwhelmed the small patty. Oh and share some truffle fries, these were so good too.Staff was super friendly and service prompt. They had lots of outdoor seating and for a Monday lunch it was super busy.

Stopped by for lunch as we were passing through SLO. The mix and match option is clever. We were seated immediately, outside under their tents in the parking lot. Service was spotty, but they were packed and we werent in a rush. The sweet potato fries were amazing! The sauce that accompanied it was to die for, it was a massive portion and well priced. As for the mix and match portion, we got the: Gouda burger, fancy pants burger, and mac and cheese with cheddar and BBQ pulled pork. The Gouda was hands down the best and came highly recommended - it didnt disappoint. The fancy pants burger was mediocre. What did disappoint was the mac and cheese - the top was hot but the bottom of the cup was cold. I dont know how they prepare it, but the temp difference was off putting. For that, Im giving it 4 stars.

I cant say enough how much I love this place. They have done such consistently good service over the last few years that they moved to a new building and it has a great atmosphere. The decorations are fancy looking but without making you feel out of place if you come in wearing jeans and a T-shirt. The service provided is quick, informative, and honestly just refreshingly kind. The food is also great. On my most recent visit I had the trio and got the fancy pants burger, the Gouda burger, and the french brussel sprouts. Its a great place for a chill lunch with friends and a good date night meal.

What a wonderful dining experience! We stopped at Taste Craft Eatery in SLO for lunch and it didn’t disappoint!We arrived around 1pm & were quickly seated in the beautiful setting. They have outdoor & indoor seating options.Our server was very friendly & through about the menu items since it was our first time there. She explained the mix & match options.Food was just amazing! We loved mix & match plates with choice of entrees & sides. Duo, Trio, or Quartet! Menu selection was great from sliders to salads! We just loved their Mac n cheese! You could customize it with your choice of cheese & toppings. Just out of this world. Ambience was neat. Service was incredible and food was amazing. It was our first time and the place didn’t disappoint. A lot going on with the menu but our waitress broke it down for us. We were very impressed with the food display and really satisfied with the quality. I was skeptical of “sliders” could be filling but coupled with everything else…it hit the spot! Went on a sober girls weekend with two friends to SLO. We hit up TASTE the first night of our trip. We had 1 vegetarian, along with myself who has a very severe dairy intolerance. I found ordering very easy! The food was great and they have so many options! I was also happy to see 3 fun NA drinks on the menu! So many restaurants forget that not everyone drinks alcohol, but still wants to have fun drinks and TASTE did an awesome job on their small NA drink menu. They were delicious! I would definitely come back when in town.

The service was just okay. It took almost 10 minutes for the server to greet us, then even longer for her to take our order.We had the calamari for an appetizer. It was tasty and the lemon caper aioli sauce was good too. The gouda burger slider was burnt and not very good. The chicken buffalo ranch slider, bacon mac&cheese, shoestring fries, and Brussels sprouts were all just okay. The raspberry vinaigrette salad was delicious.Overall, just an okay experience. Would not recommend to a friend.

Such a fun concept of mix and matching smaller dishes. Lots of slider options. The chicken popper was our fave. The brussel sprouts were delicious. Mac and cheese had a great cheesey crust on top, wished it was just a touch more creamy on the noodles. The grilled artichokes are yummy, the aioli dip is delicious!

One of my favorite places to eat in the city. Dont let the menu system confuse you, you basically build your plate from about 50 different options. The trio is the closest equivalent to a full size, hearty lunch or dinner depending on choices. The sliders are well made and substantial as are the Mac and cheese and salad choices. Ivr only has about 20 different items and they never disappoint. Full bar and cocktails are available along with good beer and cider choices. It has a more upscale decor and style but its a very casual spot. The ordering system and choices are sure to please everyone during a visit no matter their pickiness or dietary restrictions.

This place is one hell of an experience. I enjoyed every second here. The food is good, the servers are very nice and give good recommendations for someone who has never been here. The Argentine slider with chimichurri sauce is so good, the blackened salmon slider is good, and the Baja burger is my favorite. Definitely get the trio. The trio is plenty of food and you get to try three sliders if you would like. I had such a great time here.

Very mediocre food. The bread used is hard as a rock, and the sliders have little to no flavor. The portion sizes are a complete joke and absolutely not worth your money. Kraft Mac and cheese tastes better than what they serve. Not sure why a slider place is trying to be so upscale and snobby? I guess that’s just the typical person in SLO. The only reason to go would probably be their overpriced cocktails. Our server seemed estranged and couldn’t explain the menu well. The ambiance seems nice at first, but is INSANELY loud due to the poor design choice of the restaurant with no soft surfaces in sight. Wouldn’t recommend to spend your hard earned money here.

Last time I was in San Luis Obispo I visited Taste with my girlfriends. We were on a road trip and the next day we visited and got some lunch. I looked this place up to leave a review. I LOVED the food. I wish I had pictures. Everything was delicious. Next time I am in town I’ll definitely visit. Our server was amazing and attentive. It wasn’t busy when we came in, but as soon as we were finished people kept coming in out of no where. Can’t blame them. Can’t wait to go back 💙

Visited over the weekend to try something local that was not downtown, and what a pleasant choice! We were seated promptly, and the staff was super friendly. We ordered a trio and a duo with some beers. The trio was the BLT slider, another slider, and sweet potato fries. The duo was the California cowboy cobb and the benny burger. The food was delicious! The Chipotle aioli had a nice lil kick! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and price was not bad!

Not sure if Im going to be able to accurately describe our dining experience but here goes. My wife and I are visiting from Las Vegas, we were downtown SLO doing some shopping and asked some locals to refer us to a great restaurant and we ended up at TASTE! we never would have imagined that our taste buds had started a journey of a lifetime. First of all the ambiance is amazing, our seating was on a cute little dining patio with hanging lights and candle-lit table for two. Our server honestly made the dining experience one that we will never forget, Ashley was so helpful with the menu and made some excellent suggestions, she offered us some beer samples that were very tasty and refreshing. We had the Parmesain Fries as an appetizer and a Trio entrée. The food was literally some of the most amazing tasting food that we have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. We give this restaurant 10 starts ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ and Ashley gets her own set of 10 stars for being the most amazing server we ever had in a restaurant experience hands down

One of the most excellent restaurants I have ever visited! They had well managed staff, excellent food options, a creative menu option, and even top notch hygiene. I went for the Lamb Burger and Truffle Fries and I loved it. Very overwhelming flavors on the Lamb Burger and to top it off with the Truffle Fries! I would also say the Quinoa and Ahi Tuna Salad was a very creative idea in general and would be served as a awesome side dish. Well done Taste! You met every expectation I had!

I love dining in at Taste, but they also did an amazing job catering our wedding and exceeded our expectations. Everything from the staff to the food was incredible. The appetizers passed around during cocktail hour were a huge hit and the mac-n-cheese bar and chicken entrée were favorites of ours. Highly recommend!

Id prefer the name of the restaurant to imply more of a suggestion to dine here rather than direct order, and perhaps a complete dining experience would be more appropriate for a name, just in case the patron has a full appetite upon arrival. But Taste? or Lunch/Dinner, or a combo of those, just doesnt jump out like it should. Maybe they know what theyre doing after all.Probably the best burger/fries/salad place around.

Burned lamb sandwich served; manager said she would replace it but we were done as in well done! Why would they serve that and expect anyone to eat it without complaing? The first time we dined was amazing. I booked it again for graduation. First they spilled our drinks all over us. Then we were double charged on our bill. Then they charged us another $10 on the credit card. It’s a charming restaurant but the customer service is lacking.

I really enjoy the two lamb burger variations they have on the menu. Ive gone back a few times since I was first here, always enjoy it. They have tasty cocktails, too. I do wish the meat patties were not so thin, especially since their prices are a bit high as has become typical for SLO.

Nice smoky flavor with just enough juicyness. Tasted amazing but having said that, whenever I had to add fries to my slider to make it more tasty then the slider doesnt make justice in taste enough.Garlic fries were good in taste but a little bit soggy.Sauce on the side was good and added perfect taste.Dessert is highly recommended. We had many tasty items to choose from. Their signature custom Mac n Cheese bowls offer many options, and left me wanting a larger bowl. I had a trio combo with blue cheese & mushroom Mac, with the Daisy Duke and Apple Slider. The chicken was a thick piece of breast and was hard to eat because it squished out all my toppings. The Apple Burger left me wanting more meat, the patties were skimpy compared to the price. Don’t get me wrong, everything we had tasted great, there is just room for improvement on the portion sizes. The perfect combo appears to be a slider, a Mac, and a salad. As the greens they were not skimpy on. I will definitely return to sample some of their other creations.

Couldn’t rate the food because when we arrived we sat at the bar and were ignored by the blond bartender. She made two drinks right in front of us without looking at us or saying a single word or handing us menus. Then went over to a coworker and “said idk what the issue is they keep staring at me” while rolling her eyes then finally handed us some menus without saying anything. Very rude service and it was clear she did not want to serve us (and obviously gay and interracial couple-idk if that’s the reason but it’s worth mentioning). Very strange experience especially because they were not busy at all. Will not be returning.

Food here was exceptional and a lot of bang for your buck. The grilled brie appetizer is a monster and at other places, they would charge double or more for the dish they served here. Desserts were also off the chart and worth the visit for those alone. Our server was attentive and on it.Now, I will say that the owners and management need to fix a pretty egregious service mistake, especially because of your restaurants location (central coast wine country/ Edna Valley). Folks, if someone is paying for a bottle of wine, you show them the label and open it in front of them and let them taste it (at the very least, anyway. There are many fine points to this depending on the level to which you want to take it.). Coming to the table with a bottle opened with the cork jammed back in is not good; how does the customer know that you didnt use the empty bottle and fill it with Two-Buck Chuck? And at the bar before we sat, the bartender opened the bottle whilst chatting with other service staff, struggling with the cork no less, and finally putting the bottle in front of us...for us to pour. This wouldnt bother me at the local pizza place, but at a place like this? Yeah no.So, in short, excellent food and reasonable prices. It just needs a little tightening of the reins to counteract that central coast service thing.

Great place to eat! Seems newer. Lovely large patio out front with some shade, great ambiance. The menu has all the variety a person could want. Dont be misled by the term slider; their sandwiches are about twice the size of the average restaurant slider! The other sides (we got a mac & and a brussels sprouts) are pretty small, served in ramekins, but personally I liked that. Any slider can be served with an impossible burger patty with a small upcharge, and the patties were so well cooked that my husband (vegetarian) was genuinely anxious that they were actual beef. (I tasted and assured him it was not meat, but it *was* really yummy!) I got the Ahi Aloha Salad which was very good but I wish it had a smidge more ahi on it. Im looking forward to going back and trying more of their many, many options.

Taste is the place for choice. Tapas, or small plates of sliders, sandwiches, mac n cheese, carmelized Brussels sprouts, fries, soups, and salads done in so many delightful combinations. The idea is to select a Duo (any 2 items), a Trio (3 items) or a Quartet (4 items).After a long hard debate, I choosed a Quartet of an lamb slider with chevre cheese, French Brussels sprouts with bacon and chevre, mac n cheese, and a grilled asparagus arugula salad. One happy camper here.The only negatives are they get very busy at lunch, so there is a lot of noise. Its dark in there and for the second time in a row the mac n cheese is hot on top, but cold on the bottom. Good selection of wines and beers. Plenty of parking, and good service.

Updating my review to reflect my recent experience at their new location. I visited for brunch a few weekends ago and was disappointed to notice a drop in the food quality. My dining companion prefers hard-boiled eggs, not runny, so we asked our server if this substitution was possible. She assured us it wouldnt be an issue, but when the food arrived, the eggs were still runny. After an unusually long wait, we managed to flag down another staff member to find our server. She then brought over a more knowledgeable server who informed us that the eggs were prepared the night before. Considering the premium price of the eggs benedict, I expected them to be freshly made to order. Unfortunately, the other items I ordered also left me unimpressed. The food wasnt very hot upon arrival, and it tasted like it had been left out. Given that our bill totaled about $115 (before tip), I had much higher expectations for their new location. It seems that cost-cutting is now a higher priority for this establishment compared to before.

Oh my goodness, amazing juicy sliders with the perfect bun & right amount of sauce! my daughter n I tried Gouda with garlic sauce slider, veggie slider, Ahi salad, brussels sprouts with caramelized, onion, and delicious cheddar mac & cheese that was melting in your mouth with a thin cheese crust on top so tasty, also the Brussels sprouts made so well! Enjoyed my meal here. Met some friends for a quick lunch. Lively atmosphere, busy at the lunch hour. I ordered two sliders, the Cubano and Eve. You can tell they enjoy blending flavors together and creating culinary delights. I only wish my Eve had a bit more savory burger flavor, the fig jam was a tad overpowering. The Cubano I highly recommend. But overall, a very pleasant time and a good place to meet friends for lunch.

One of my all-time favorite places in SLO. The wines are local and delicious. And the food is amazing. You pick two, three, or four small items from the menu to build your meal. You can choose from an assortment of well built sliders, delicious Mac and cheese combos, fresh salads, flavored brussle sprouts, and more. I highly highly recommend. There is outdoor seating with heated lamps, a trendy indoor eating area, small bar, and of course wonderful service! Ive used Taste as a perfect date spot, dinner with business execs, lunch spot with the girls, or a great place to grab a glass of wine and dessert solo. See you there!!

The lam burger was excellent and the quinoa salad ok. Good service.Great menu tapas style. Look out for the drinks. A Hendricks Martini will cost you $18.

Ive been coming here for years and its always been great. Im not sure why there arent more slider + Mac and cheese restaurants. Its a match made in heaven. Solid date night spotnor just casually hanging out with friends.I had the slamming Sammy slider, goude + sausage Mac and cheese, and Hail Cesar salad. All were excellent.

My husband and I stopped by for a glass of wine and ended up ordering their hummus plate for a snack. Weve dined here before many times and love it! Weve even entertained out of town guests here and they have loved it!!! We sat at the bar and got 5 star service from the bartenders. Atmosphere is 5 stars. My 3 star rating today is unfortunately for their hummus plate. The hummus was so dry, so thick, so disappointing. There were 2 carrot sticks on the plate, 4 cucumber rounds, a little variety of olives and cherry tomatoes that had balsamic vinegar on them. I love balsamic vinegar, but these cherry tomatoes had some much it was so bitter. Im never one to complain because Im in the industry and I so understand everything in the restaurant business. We love Taste! We will be back, but we wont order their hummus plate ever again.

I appreciate the “taste” aspect because we love going to try things so the concept is on point.I was just thrown off by the rude manager Macy? I think her name was. And that a guest puked throughout the restaurant on the way to the bathroom. Other then that the service staff was VERY nice and it was a nice place to try. I came here for Sunday brunch. Get here early, they get full quick. The menu may look pricey but everything is masterfully prepared and worth it. I ordered brunch fries, norm benedict, steak benedict and smoked salmon slider, washed it all down with a sticky bandit screwdriver. All tasted amazing. The brunch fries I shared with a friend but it fills 3 people, we had enough left over of the Canuck style to take home. Both Benedicts tasted great, maybe a little too much hollandaise sauce but the sauce, egg, muffin and meat were perfectly done. The smoked salmon slider was absolutely delectable. Tender, juicy salmon that fell apart each bite with garlic aioli that really balanced the flavor. Finally I ordered the sticky bandit screwdriver special. Peanut butter, chocolate, cinnamon and oat flavoring made it taste like the bottom of a cinnamon toast crunch bowl. It hit the spot for me. Very much recommend for a casual brunch/dinner or even slightly upscale dining for an executive meeting.

Seriously, check this place out if you are near San Luis Obispo. So my family is taking a scenic tour from southern California to San Francisco. I found this delicious location by searching for the best ratings on our route. It did not disappoint. The clever ordering options and sizes allow you to try lots of variety. We ordered three different trios for 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids). The flavors were so good I nearly cried. Try a local brew to go with the amazing local flavor. Perfectly crispy and salty.The bad: All the sliders were on brioche which is thick, very crispy ( not tender) and over powered the insides. All the beef sliders we got were over done and lacked flavor because all the juice had been scorched out of them. The Cobb salad was also a disappointment bc it was lacking the different salad types, croutons and the chicken was over cooked and chewy.All in all, cozy atmosphere, some good drinks, but the main dishes just lacked the details that you would expect from a craft eatery.

We sat outside on a beautiful San Luis Obispo day. Theres also plenty of chairs inside, but it was a little noisier and darker, so we opted for outdoors. The service was attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Our drinks were full, and our server checked back to make sure that we had all the sauces and such that we needed. The food was absolutely delicious. I sampled some of the truffle fries: amazing! We had selections from the summertime brunch menu. Our server informed us that they were about to switch to the Autumn menu so if you like to come here you can look for seasonal changes. Highly recommend, and I would come here again!

This is our 3rd time coming here. We enjoy the variety on the menu and the food is usually really delicious. We brought a friend with us this last time so she could experience the great food. It was busier than usual but we still got seated quickly. Our waitress seemed like she distracted and didnt want to be there. She wasnt as cheery and friendly as were used to.Our burgers were under cooked and chicken was kind of dry. When we brought it to the attention of the waitress it seemed like her attitude changed. We had a wonderful experience with Taste Craft Eatery! The coordinator Kate was very professional and responsive; any questions or concerns I had were quickly addressed, even the e-mails with a 1000 questions and my horrible indecisiveness, she was always so resourceful and patient. The staff on-site was friendly and unremarkable and did an excellent job cleaning up the venue after the wedding. Kate also helped me put together a wonderful menu, and assisted me with decisions on the dishes, and bar menu options, thank you! The food itself was absolutely fantastic and got rave reviews from our guests (still do, especially from Grandma!). Chef Whitney is such a gem, we had an appetizer idea that she brought to life and still makes our mouth water at just the thought of it. My favorite food is mac n cheese and really all I cared about food wise at our wedding, was actually my deciding factor for working with Taste, SO GOOD! The overall cost was so reasonable, we are incredibly lucky to have found Taste! Kate, Chef Whitney and the whole Taste team are amazing to work with and wish we lived closer so could work with them more or even visit the restaurant more! We would absolutely recommend Taste Craft Eatery as a caterer and look forward to our next trip to the restaurant.

The three biggest things:Cleanliness: their menus, and check holders are often filthy would really benifit from a wipe down. Every menu Ive had since they moved has had some syrup or food on it.Cold food: the food is consistently partially cold or entirely cold. Had dinner @ TASTE tonight with 2 friends. The service was very good, we had a wonderful waiter.The food was poor. My friends tri tip slider had 2 tiny strips of meat, very well done & dry.Had to send back anyway as they forgot to leave out the jalapeño’s. I also had Mac n cheese & picked the cheddar cheese. Had two bites & it tasted sour, my friend tried & she spit it out……..didn’t eat anymore. I love this place!Anyone going with a SMALL group of people looking for an affordable place in San Luis Obispo to eat that has quality food and beer should go here.The menu includes 3 basic options, a duo for $14, a trio for 16$ and a quartet for $22. I always get a trio and a beer and I dont spend more than $25 which is great for the quality of food. Getting the specials also doesnt cost more than getting the regular items on the menu.-The sliders are large, essentially slightly smaller burgers, and I love that Taste has a variety of meats aside from ground beef, but also the sliders can all be vegan.-The mac & cheese, salads, and brussel sprouts are great and also have a lot of variety, and theres always a special for mac & cheese which I choose.- I love the beer selection, I have discovered beers that I love by going to Taste and trying different beers. Although limited, each beer that I have tried has been excellent, despite not being a fruity beer which I generally go for. Also, each beer only costs $6, which is nice as most beer is $8 per glass.-Some downsides: the bathroom is nice once inside but seems like a gas station bathroom when walking to it and they do NOT like groups larger than 6.If you and a few friends want to experience a great restaurant with food for everyone go to Taste, but make sure to call ahead.

I came here to have dinner during the pandemic and I got a great impression of this place. They have outside seating with heaters, which made our stay easier. The service was remarkable. The waiter took the time to explain how everything works (they have mix and match options) and even have us recommendations. Wonderful lunch experience. Pretty varied menu offering a variety of mix and match options. You can choose from two, three, or four selections consisting of a variety of burgers or sandwiches, salads, mac and cheese and fries. Each item is slightly smaller than normal, but that also lets you sample a greater variety. I hate to make this about race but Ive been here before with another more fitting (I suppose) group and the service and attitude was very different than what i describe in the experience below.I came on a busy Saturday evening with a group of 9 without a reservation. We knew there would be a wait... they told us an hour. we waited patiently but when after 70 minutes I asked the hostess if theres an update she rudely said whenever you see people leave is when youll be seatedAfter another 20 minutes they told us they couldnt sit us all together and could sit us at two tables... we agreed as we were hungry. The staff was so rushed they barely had time to take our order and seemed bothered by the fact that my guests didnt speak English and I was translating for them ( I guess theyre not used to /dont like serving diverse people of color)... then the check came and they had charged 2 of one item. When I brought this up to the woman who came to pick up the check (same hostess) she rudely said im sure its right but Ill check with your waiter then came back saying the waiter said we had two... I again said we had one and she said shed take it off as if she was doing me a favor. Then when she brought the new check she had added a 20% gratuity for large party... even though our party was split up... at this point I was so done with her I just paid and we left... I regret not speaking up though bc then they think its ok to be like this... hence the review.

I all-around enjoy this place. The lettuce wraps for burgers are not good at all and the insides of the slider will be all over the place, so just use a fork and knife. Only downsides were that the wait was a little long (we went at about noon on a Sunday) and there isnt really much space for a line. Amazing discovery for me. Been a resident of SLO for 10 years, but usually go downtown to eat. This location is not the greatest but once inside and sinking your teeth into one of their signature sliders, youll be glad you came! They have plenty of brews on tap and delicious sides to go with their sliders. One slider and a salad filled me up and I got to take the second slider home. 2nd time we have had issues with here. Found a rock/tooth in a slider. Went there tonight to try it again. My burger meat was the consistency of raw ground beef. made it most of the way through the burger before realizing it wasnt soggy bread I was eating but raw meat. Told management and they gave $8 off the bill, only comped the meal after we complained again. Then on owners sent me a response to this review stating my review was false. No concern for the negative experience. No empathy. No ownership for their mistake. Made the server handle the review. manager never came out to talk to us. Love the food here, the ambiance is fantastic as well. The mix and match structure of the menu is a great way to order because youre not tied to a particular type of entree which is helpful because theres so many delicious things to choose from on the menu! The beer selection is extensive and very well priced. The only reason Im not giving five stars is that the portions arent exactly up to my standards based on the price. That being said I must give the caveat that I eat a lot of food and therefore it takes a lot to fill me up, but as a standard I think $15 (price for the trio) in any restaurant at this level should at least be pretty filling. They do have the quad option which would definitely get the job done but that jumps up to $20 which in my mind enters into a different caliber of restaurant. Overall if youve never been Id 100% recommend taking the slight risk that you wont be totally full after.

Talked about what her husband was buying her for Christmas, her neighbors complaining about her dogs barking, someone they knew who was just a trainwreck, and so on. The Mac n cheese slider portion is AMAZING!! I got the smoked Gouda with bacon and it was delicious, the portion of the Mac n cheese however is a bit smaller compared to the huge slider portions. I think the slider portions are a great deal for the price though. The banh mi and Cubano sliders were so fresh and tasty, I would say I enjoyed the banh mi one a bit more because of the crispness of the jalapeño and daikon. We sat in the patio which was plenty warm despite a brisk evening. Anyway, the fries were delish and the aioli sauce that comes with was perfect. After all this, the best part was out bill was, wait for it, LESS THAN $30! What? Had to be a mistake! This is MY FAVORITE restaurant! My best friend and I eat here a couple of times a month, if not more. What makes this my favorite restaurant? First, the food. Its the flavors and the quality. The food could NOT be fresher. Salmon is my favorite and its always fresh, never frozen. Second, their patio dining. I prefer outside because its not as loud as it is on the inside. And they are dog friendly. BIG BONUS. Not only do I take my dogs, there are always other dogs there too, being such well mannered guests. Equal to my second reason, the staff. There appears to be very little turn-over and the staff is really on the ball. They also couldnt be nicer. Third, I like a restaurant where I always see the owner walking around. Hes the captain of a well-operating and efficiently run ship. Lastly, this is an OMG. Their rootbeer floats are absolutely the best. HOMEMADE. I always leave room for one of those. Unbelievable flavors. If there were 6 stars, or 10 stars, this place deserves it.

Great atmosphere, staff, and of course food. The meal selection is creative with mixing of small entrées, all of which are incredible. We have never had a bad meal or experience here, in fact my picky 7 year old asks to est here almost every week.
