Very unassuming spot in Daly City. Service was a pleasure and felt very nice to stop by. We ordered the tea leaf salad and pumpkin curry with coconut rice all which were very tasty! It may not pack a punch with flavors but still enjoyed the subtlety of the dishes.

I really liked the tea leaf salad, it was soo good. The paratha was also good. Went on weekend and it was busy. Not a large place.

Food tasted amazing, the man serving us was very sweet and offered recommendations. He even gave us a scoop of green tea ice cream at the end, give that man a raise!

Tea leaf salad was super tasty and the pumpkin curry was excellent. Worth going out of your way for. The atmosphere is very simple…nothing fancy but we were just looking for something quick and not far off the freeway. Very friendly owner.

Taste of Burma is one of those unassuming strip mall restaurants that turn out to be a pleasant surprise. We ordered the tea leave salad, beef biriyami and chicken pumpkin curry. My favorite was the Curry dish. Portions were a good size. The Friday night we went there was only one server/cashier and the restaurant was busy, so he was trying to keep up as best as he could.Parking in front of the restaurant is crowded, so you may have to park further down aways.

Decent food and good service, but dishes were missing the pungency and saltiness I expect in food I last had in Burma. It felt underseasoned. Great value, though, and nice of them to have pictures of everything in the menu.

Ive seen this place a few times. Its located in a small plaza with a few amount of parking spots. After first coming during SIP, weve already come back a few more times. Inside was really big and gave a more traditional ambiance. Weve tried their mango salad, samusas, nan pya dok, chicken curry, and garlic noodles. Our food was always ready quickly. The nan gyi dok was something new to us and it was a popular item. We personally didnt really love it. HOWEVER, everything else we tried was amazing. I would highly highly recommend the samusas. We really liked the bean powder that came with the mango salad. The salad was really colorful and a good portion size. The curry can be a bit oily, but it still tasted great. The garlic noodles were great as well. I would highly recommend as well.I am glad weve found a new burmese restaurant with affordable food. It seems family owned, so support your local businesses! The food is great and I plan to come back here often.
