There is just something about the pizza here that is so good. Its my absolute favorite place to get a pizza from. I get a pretty basic pizza with pepperoni and I add bacon and its really delicious everytime. This spot is only a few streets away from my house so Ive been getting pizza from here for years. I also highly recommend the cheese breadsticks. A small pizza was about 18$ :)

Excellent food- the fried calamari was the best Ive ever had. Their bread was awesome. I ordered the rolled lasagna- I think Im used to traditional layered lasagna. It was okay, but Ill order something else next time. Pops was a great informative server, very warm and pleasant.I recommend this gem of a restaurant. Cant wait to go back!!

Delicious! We ordered our food for pick up and it was packaged perfectly (salad in a separate bag so it stays cold) and they kept the fried mozarella crispy with the foil in the box! They were stilly melty and crispy. The fettucine noodles are clearly homemade and are tasty all by themselves and the alfredo sauce was thick and creamy. Yummo. My hubby loved his calzone (build your own!!) and the regular size is huge. Enough for lunch today, dinner tonight and maybe leftovers tomorrow! Great food at a fair price~ and the service we experienced was perfect in every way. Thank you for a great meal! (Photos are after we ate some!)

We moved from Foresthill a year ago and has taken us a while to get settled in Roseville. Passed by this place everyday. It will surprise you when you walk in. Its warm and puts off a comfortable feeling. Service is great and the food and prices are outstanding. We are regulars and recommend it highly.Happy Holidays

Our Family LOVES this restaurant. The attention to detail and wide variety of items available on the Gluten Free menu make this a perfect location for dinner out. Food is always amazing and teh servers seems to have a genuine interest in making sire your enjoy your evening. I would definitely recommend you give them a try.

Delicious!! Lots of options and housemade fettuccine! My only quip is that the pasta was not seasoned. If they would only add salt to the pasta water, it would be amazing!Friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend!

Okay, I grew up on fresh ocean caught abalone. I had the squid steak and linguini and was told that this was high quality squid. Well they didnt lie and I have to say, although not abalone, it was the next best thing! Also we sat on the Patio and were entertained by drunk patrons and Billy The One Man Band.. so there was that.

Strip mall dining can be deceptive. Great food and reasonable prices with friendly service. We had them make a surprise dish based upon preferences and it was amazing. Mine was salmon with shrimp on top.

Dark, Drab, and Dingy.Those three words describe my dine-in experience.We dropped in for Sunday lunch. When we approached the restaurant they had both doors wide open. Why would you do that when the temperature was already warm that day??We were greeted and shown a table. We were given menus that definitely needed a good wipe down. There was only one waitress working but I thought this cant be bad since there were only 6 customers. Well that soon changed.I immediately noticed how dark it was in the restaurant. They have these heavy drapes that block out the natural sunlight and they look like that have not been cleaned since being hung. The painted dark ceiling tiles do not help as well. The place could use a fresh coat of paint on the walls as well. I highly suggest going with white to liven up the place.Now for the food. I ordered the breadsticks as an appetizer which came with dipping sauces. The waitress recommended the marinara and ranch. Why ranch?? I also ordered the Antipasto salad since pasta was too heavy for a warm day.The antipasto salad was served in an overly large bowl (to make it look like a huge salad when it wasnt). The mixed greens looked old and didnt have any vibrant color to them. This salad was NOT woth $17! The breadsticks were not in fact breadsticks but was more of a cheesy flatbread, disappointing.Needless to say, I couldve had a better tasting lunch if I went to Olive Garden.

We were in the area and everyone wanted Italian. I jumped on google and this place popped up. Its hidden in an unassuming shopping center.The food was great, the service was great. No complaints at all. Do they make their own pasta?? Because the pasta was fantastic! Try it for yourself, really. 🍝

When will I learn to look over the menu of a restaurant I see regularly, but have never been to??!!Big mistake with Taste of Tuscany. Huge! Had I read the menu, I would have immediately gone for any of the baked sandwiches for lunch ....the Calzone, pizza, or the ridiculously distinctive dishes...Heck, the menu was near impossible to choose 1 thing for dinner cuz they ALL sounded wonderful!! Veal was even an option!!The last picture shows these folks are serious. The pizza box had a wax paper liner included. This keeps the box safe from the food, and the box taste outta the pizza. Genius!Call ahead to reserve a table cuz things can get a lil busy!

Im sorry, but being and growing up Italian, its hard for me to find anywhere that tastes near as good as mine or my familys. It was better than most other Italian restaurants Ive been to. I would come back. When I came back for a second time I was much happier with both the food and the service. Our waitress, Trinity, is the best and went above and beyond her required duties. (Shes also a Mila Kunis look alike) A casual setting and great food. Definitely worth coming to. The food you get for the price is a good ratio.

I wish I could give them 100 stars! This is a wonderful, family run place. The vibe is local, family-run restaurant in the Little Italy section of one of Americas large cities. Everyone is chipping in! The seating is little tables that can be pulled apart, or pushed together depending on the size of your group. They welcome you like long-lost cousins who just got off the boat and feed you like food is love. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the experience and so do the locals. At closing, half the tables still had diners enjoying beverages and conversation.They are doing a great job of serving locally via curb-side pickup and delivery as well! They are so well-run in this little spot that wait times are minimal.Also, check out the childrens sports plaques on the wall. The family is supporting the local community. So your dollars arent just buying you the best food, theyre funding positive experiences for families locally, and that deserves our patronage!

I cant say enough good things about this place. My family and I went here yesterday to celebrate my birthday. Two adults and 5 kids, 3 of which are toddlers. We had a reservation but when we arrived another party had moved themselves to our reserved table. We totally understood this, as its not uncommon in the restaurant industry. The waitstaff was very apologetic. While we were waiting outside taking pictures, a staff member offered to take a picture of our whole group. He went to wash his hands before coming back and touching my phone. That was pretty neat. We were seated quickly and offered an appetizer for the inconvenience of our table not being ready. We thought this was incredible because most other places would not have been so kind. We chose the mozzarella triangles and the kids loved them. They also had activity packets for the kids. They were full of stickers and coloring pages and other activities. This was impressive. You can tell there is a lot of thought and money going in to their youngest patrons. Moving on to the food. Two of our toddlers got the kids pizzas, which were the same portion as an individual pizza. They were huge and the kids loved them. One toddler got the Mac and cheese. Gooey and delicious! Our older boy got a calzone off the kids menu and it was very large and he was thrilled with it. Our girl got a simple pasta and ate her whole plate! One of us got the Da Vincis Best and absolutely loved it. I tried the rolled lasagna and I was blown away. It was so savory and delicious. There was really something for all of us to enjoy. For my birthday dessert we got the chocolate fudge cake. It was very rich so all of the kids were able to have a couple of bites and it left everyone satisfied. Our server, Dakota, was friendly and attentive. Another staff member, pops was so kind and personable. We definitely found our new celebration restaurant. We will be back for years to come. I should add that to feed our large brood is usually pretty expensive, so imagine our surprise when the bill came and we were well under our budget!! I would give this place 100 stars if I could. Its a small place, but the experience was huge.

I ordered a chicken sandwich, a drink, and gelato through DoorDash. I received everything except the gelato. I called the restaurant to inquire about my missing gelato. The restaurant employee assured me it was included in the bag. Then, he suggested, Call DoorDash; theyll provide a refund for the gelato. Doesnt this response raise a red flag? I genuinely doubt that the Dasher would risk her/his job over a $3 gelato. Perhaps this restaurant has a habit of forgetting orders and quickly placing blame on DoorDash.

Dakota very attentive waiter. They need a bar (no points lost in rating. Just saying). tables are super close you, To enjoy dine-in must be comfortable with neighbors no fences. The individual size pizza is enough if appetizers are chosen. The calamari in the appetizers are steak strips (I like the rings and legs). The only picture i took was of the muscles. It was a generous portion. The rolled lasagna was a good size, and a ten. Oh. The salads are strong, it comes with olives and a dry cheese that deliever a pungent taste! I dont like olivez. So there was no sharing with me. Da Vinci Best was a ten. The white sause was rich and saucy. A Good local spot. Sorry only one photo.

This place is one of my dad’s favorites, so we recently had a family meal here. Their servers are better than a lot of places, focused on making sure you have what you need. The manager came and checked on us too, so we were in good shape.Their portions are very large for what I am used to. You will leave stuffed. I ordered the calzone on recommendation, and there is plenty to take home for a 2nd meal the following day. I like that they let you choose any fillings. My dad loves the Nonna’s spaghetti & meatballs, and the breadsticks were a big hit at the table.

The happy friendly owner personally came and brought toys for my anxious kids to play with which helped allot, and our waitress who was pregnant was the best server ! She was always meeting out needs. The seating inside was full at one point and later she even helped transfer us from outside to inside when it started to unexpectedly rain to finish enjoying our meal. The pizza was great ! Pops was our waiter. He was very friendly, personable, and made us feel welcome. We were going to have a pizza, but he suggested calzones. They make their own bread and sold us on having real calzones. They were huge and excellent! I inquired about their dark Brute, and he brought some over to taste. It was thick and rich with full flavor!The restaurant was not crowded, nor was the music too loud. Our service and food came fast. I am looking forward to taking others to Taste of Tuscany.

I’m genuinely surprised that this restaurant has as many good reviews as it does. The last TWO times my boyfriend and I ordered take out from here it has been bad, but I let it go the first time. This time my meal was so unacceptable and disgusting. How does an Italian restaurant mess up Chicken Alfredo? The noodles were completely under cooked and there was almost no Alfredo sauce on the dish! Pasta is literally 50% noodles and 50% sauce, how does this get messed up so bad? A dry, undercooked pasta with no sauce and absolutely NO flavor. Completely bland. Disappointed is an understatement. This place is lucky that my boyfriend is too nice to go back and demand a refund like I wanted to. In this economy to charge $16 for that kind of pasta is criminal. I love to support local businesses, but I have been disappointed and wasted money at this establishment for the last time.

This is a sad little restaurant. Its situated in a little strip mall in the Home Depot parking lot, which isnt necessarily a bad thing, Ive been to incredible restaurants in strip malls before. In this case it is a bad thing.The first thing we noticed is that there was NO ONE there. Even on Monday nights most places in Roseville have people in them, but not this place. I ordered the salmon on risotto, as did my friend, another party member ordered the shrimp carbonara (???). When our salmon came it was on a bed of fettuccine, which was cold, not risotto. The waiter just kinda said, oh yeah, sorry; were out of risotto. I kindly mentioned that would have been something he shouldve said before we ordered. The shrimp carbonara (???) ended up being something else, and the waiter brought the correct dish after our friend had already began eating it. Nothing was good,I dont know whats going on in the kitchen, but all the food coming out of there was sub par. The only thing decent was the tomato broth the mussels were served in. It was pretty sad. It could be a cool little place, they just need a major shakeup in the kitchen. I see theyve gotten great ratings from others, so maybe this was just an off night. No one in our party thought it was good.. I do wish them well, we need more local, family owned places.

We really love this place and the food is still really good but the service has severely gone downhill. The chefs came out a few times and they appear very dirty. Some look like they have been wiping their hands on their shirts repeatedly that I question the cleanliness of the kitchen as a whole. And their bears and longer are not covered which is also a concern. The waitresses drop things all the time and rarely paid attention to us and we sat right by the hostess stand. Im not trying to be mean but this place isnt what it used to be over the course of a year. When weve run into the owner things were running much better!

My Lovely Lady Lass and I enjoyed some light White Wine and a Large Pizza here! It was quite a nice setting. The best part was when she already had a table for us, and she asked me to sit next to her. Straight Melted my heart knowing she wanted me to sit right next to her. The name of the restaurant is a bit misleading. The food here is about as American as you can get.For what its worth, they offer about the same fare as you can expect to find in any other Italian restaurant and about the same quality. Its not terrible, but you can find a better meal for the money.As far as their pizza goes, it was below average. Some of the vegetables tasted like they came out of a can and the cheese tasted like it came pre-shredded out of a bag. Im pretty sure some chain pizza joints use better quality ingredients.

Typically when the order you placed online hasnt even been started by the time you get there to pick it up, it doesnt encourage you to leave a positive review. With that said, it was actually a good thing in this case. Not only did they apologize profusely, but they gave me a free beer while I waited. I had a good conversation with the owners and employees and found out that they gave me 4 more free items in my bag and didnt even mention it. The food was amazing. Ive been here many times, but this time the food was even better than normal, almost as good as the service. The free pasta salad, green salad and 2 desserts they snuck into my bag were all amazing. They more than made up for the issue (which was actually caused by them not being notified about my order from their website) and I appreciate everything they did. I would go back even if they didnt go above and beyond to rectify that small issue because the food is so good, but now Ill be an advocate for this restaurant. If you dont try this place youre making a mistake.

We just used them as catering for our wedding. The Executive Chef was extremely helpful and responsive, even while being understaffed and making deliveries himself. So many guests asked us who we used because the food was so good! It was delivered on time and set up in a very speedy and professional manner. We cannot wait to eat here again as a family. Updated: This used to be one of my favorite places to eat, but it seems like theyve been making some changes recently (last year or so) to their noodles and recipes that have made the quality of the dishes decline severely. I would normally make it a point to stop here if I was anywhere close to the area. It pains me to say this, but I probably wont be stopping here anymore. Their customer service is still great, and so is the atmosphere, but I visited because they had great food. It just seems like theyve decided to cut corners and drop the quality, but still charge the same for food thats way worse. 😥The saddest part about my moving out of North Highlands was that Im so much more further away from this place. Even so, I still make the occasional trip out (I live in Rosemont now) because theyre THAT GOOD! The food is the best, theyre wine is fantastic and their customer service has always been a great experience (which is saying a lot, coming from an introvert). Hands down, my favorite spot in the greater Sacramento area.

4 years ago and before I went to Taste of Tuscany frequently. I always got their pesto dish. I went for the first time out to any restaurant at TOT on Mothers Day. Took my mom and brother. I talked her into getting the pesto dish. It had very little taste. We could taste no white wine, NO cream, no flavor and less sauce then their ever was. My mom was going to order something else, but ordered what I recommended. Very sad. I never go out and my first time going out again was a dud. :( my sons tomato bisque soup and ceasar salad was great, my brothers meal was good ours was not. I was sooooo looking forward to that special pesto dish. :(

Today was my first time trying this restaurant and Id definitely go back. Two of us had the margarita flatbread with salad, and one of us had the tortillini with pesto sauce and cheese bread. All from the pick 2 lunch menu. All 3 meals were really good. The service was friendly and fast and it felt like a welcoming neighborhood place. All staff were masked and menus had been disinfected between customers. It was a little more than I normally like to pay for lunch out, coming out to about $16 each (including tip) with no added drinks, desserts or appetizers. But, still very good and I will go back.

This is very good for a neighborhood Italian restaurant. The pizzas are good quality and not greasy. And their dinners are very good if you dine in. Im sure there may be higher quality Italian places in the area, but they are probably a lot more expensive. Its one of the few places we have been to in the area that has been consistently good. Have had trouble finding good quality restaurants since we moved to the area, especially Mexican and Chinese.

Also, the red sauce had no seasoning and tasted like just tomato puree.The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, but the plumbing in the bathrooms was messed up so the back half of the place had a not-so-fresh smell.Our waitress and the other staff were great though.

Picked up food from here for the first time and it was excellent! And you get so much! Only downfall was I had asked for a pesto dish to be done in alfredo sauce, which I was told it wasnt a problem. I remember Taste of Tuscany once being a good taste... but now, now it is bland. Their pastas are overcooked and flavorless, and the service was slow. They did try their hardest to make up for it and brought us lots of cheesey bread. That was the highlight of our meal. Your meal comes with bread sticks which is actually a delicious Flatbread with fresh garlic and melted cheese. It is excellent and you can order marinara or alfredo dipping sauce to go with it. I ordered the marinara and it was fresh and definitely not out of a jar. Also a nice green salad is included with fresh crisp lettuce, sliced tomatoes, sliced red onions, and olives.Our main courses were veal Parmigiano served over a bed of spaghetti noodles. I havent seen veal on menu in a long time and then it was very pricey. At $22.00 I thought it was well worth it. The other entree was Chef Morgans citrus shrimp serenade. It was a fresh light sauce of lemon and blood orange and beautiful fresh pasta. My Son and his girlfriend took her mom and I to this place for Mothers Day. It was so nice. And although they were busy they werent overly crowded. We sat outside and it was perfect. They serve pizza, pasta and salad. Oh and they serve wine also, I had a very tasty sweet wine. We all decided to have one of there pasta dishes which comes with fresh made bread sticks. Update. I still have not had any of the food here. I am updating my review because the people I have delivered to from this restaurant since have all been pleased as far as I know. My experience was quite horrible because my Mom never got her food that I had ordered hours in advance. However after 2 years in the food delivery service I have come to understand that it was most likely the delivery App that failed, not the restaurant. Er go my updated review........ I will work to ensure no one has the awful experience we did. My Mom passed away shortly after my original review. I apologize for going full on Tengu.My mom has always wanted to try the cuisine here. She has become quite ill so she wasnt able to make it in on a dine in experience. So after reviewing all the reviews we decided to order delivery. I called for an 8pm delivery around 6pm. I was told it would be 8 15 pm for sure. We didnt eat anything really in anticipation of the mouth watering food we were promised.8 15pm comes and goes. I call at 8 25pm inquiring on where our food was. I was promised driver would be here within 20 minutes tops.... 20 minutes pass, were still starving and now its quarter to 9pm. I call again. The driver is in route for sure now... NO Thank You. Order cancelled. There are plenty of other mouth watering italian restaurants out there that are far more professional.

This place was surprisingly good. We came here for lunch while my car was at the auto shop. We go the tomato bisque, shrimp scampi, stuffed peppers and I believe it was a chicken alfredo fettucini. Everything tasted great except the tomato bisque, it was just a little bland. But overall the food was great, service matched. Came here for mothers day. Our waiter was very nice, polite and helpful he was super busy so unfortunately he couldnt check-in with us as much as we liked . I asked for an extra topping and was charged for it but didnt quite make it on my plate. Once we finished I had to get up and ask for our check again it was really busy but overall great food.

Really did not enjoy waiting 30 minutes for our food, and then get told that my dish needed to get remade because somone couldn’t read I did not want cheese, normally I wouldn’t mind but I had to wait a extra 25 minutes to get my food reordered. Also mind you it was just noodles, onions,tomatoes and there marinara. So it was not a complicated order.. anyways it is a let down when you wanted to enjoy a nice dinner with your significant other ...yet by the time I got my food he was done with his (didn’t want his food to get cold while waiting, which it would have) Then when I got my food, I was not even filled because the plate was so small. I was really disappointed especially with how much this place can cost. The taste was great but not the service. The waitress was really sweet and did her best but the food for the price and this kind of service is a let down.

The food was great and the portions were sizeable, especially when considering the complimentary bread sticks. The prices are around $10 for calzones and sandwiches and $16 or more for pizzas and pasta. The service was not the fastest but they made up for it in great kindness. Additionally, they have gluten free pasta, pizzas, and even a gluten-free chocolate cake.

It has been awhile since our last visit, but we wanted to get out of the house so we came here. Due to the Covid-19 social distancing orders we enjoyed dinner on their patio. The weather was very nice they had a very shady patio area. Excellent service was provided by Trinity. The food was much better than I remembered from our last visit.We started with Bruschetta. The tomatoes and garlic were fresh and crostini crunchy! It was yummy!!!! The salad was just as fresh, bright and tasty. The bread sticks were a very pleasant surprise! No dried bread sticks in a glass here! Fresh baked, with melted cheese, crunchy outside and soft inside. We had a choice of dipping sauces. Ranch and house marinara arrived with it. Our main courses of Pesto Linguine with artichoke hearts and mushrooms for my wife. A Calamari piccata on a bed of fresh linguine was my meal.After all the starters, we were only able to eat half of our meal. The rest came home to be enjoyed again later. If you have an Italian food craving or just want to enjoy good food, good service and a pleasant atmosphere consider this restaurant.

I was looking for pasta my girlfriend loves lasagna first time here it was really good she had the lasagna special my daughter had the chicken parmesan and I had the chicken Marcel. I tried them all the lasagna and chicken Parmesan for excellent the chicken Marcel was okay I thought it was a little flat. It needed more flavor the portions were really large. I would recommend this place.

Brought our 3 grandkids there ages 9, 7, 3 and they forgot to bring the 3 year old her Mac and Cheese which sat on the counter for 15-20 minutes. Most and maybe even all the ingredients taste as though it came from a can. That was our 3rd. and LAST visit there! The previous visits were no better and we thought, golly, they have to get better. But they havent. Sorry folks, have nothing good to say. Olive Garden, set the table, here we come!

My husband & I had a delicious dinner here on Valentines Day 2/14/18 (our 37th year anniversary)! What a very pleasant surprise! I have never noticed this restraunt in this location as much as we go to the Home Depot in Antelope area. It was very simple & clean inside. The staff were very friendly & provided excellent service! Went there for a to go order. Was greeted at door. When ordering was rudely interrupted as if not even there and there was no apologies from staff. Waited forty minutes before I got tired of waiting and asked cashier if my food was ready. It was sitting on top of the oven. No apologies were offered again. The food was border line room temperature when I got home and I live literally five blocks away. First time and last time going there. I even paid for a tip in the beginning.

My family and I received the worst service I have ever encountered! Mothers Day we went into this establishment to grab some food togo. We ordered at 4:38 p.m. by 5:20 we where done waiting 10 more mins and 10more mins so I asked for a refund the cashier tells me she cant give me a refund until they close that night, me knowing thats not how refunds work asked again can I get my refund she says manager is on the line cooking and nobody can offer a refund finally another cashier comes over and gives the refund. I really just cant believe this type of service is acceptable. Never ever again
