They opened today but didn’t have much variety like they used too. But still decent food no the less, price for one was $28.25 and includes drink with this price. Seniors get a 10% discount so little something there but would give them a little time in setting in since they just started and hope to see the restaurant running like is used to run back in 2020 before they closed down because of COVID. It was very clean so there’s a plus and didn’t get sick from the food (see reviews here talking about that) but would come again in the near future. 6.5/10

I LOVE BUFFETS,,,, I visited on a Sunday and this one is an awesome place to check out !!!!The food was perfect . They have a sushi bar, fruit station.. beef ... fish,,, tons of sea food,, rice... noodles....and sooo much moreAND ITS ALL GOOD.A clean atmosphere... nice music ( low key ).My visit was around noon and I had a great experience.. not too many people .... seating was personal and social all at once😁If you like buffet style definitely go by this particular Grand Buffet

Love it!! first time here and I like it. The variety of foods is very good, the price is reasonable everything was fresh perfect for sea food lovers, very clean and kind hostess we stop for lunch at 2:30 and it was not crowded at all which I like because it gets annoyed when theres a lot of people talking I definitely recommend this place.

It’s a eat-at-your-own-risk type of place. I saw it was cheap and thought “well how bad could it be.” Turned out it could be pretty bad lol. I didn’t touch half their food, and some items were downright gross. However, a few items were okay and the cake was good. Again, only if you want cheap all you can eat~

All of the staff was very friendly. The food was varied, but good. I got to try stuff Ive never had before(like flounder!), and I liked most of it. It was only $10 for an adult lunch buffet which is a steal. I didnt grab any pics because I ate it too fast! The cream cheese wontons were my favorite.

I went to grand buffet with a friend. And when we were inside they did good service asking us nicely if we will like something to drink and at the same time they took us to a table. And while we were there for our lunch, they did good service asking us if we will like more of our drinks. And also nicely taking our plates to have more space for our next plate. The food that they had, was good and fresh. So I will definitely recommend anyone to the grand buffet, for all the good service and also for all the good and fresh food that they make there.

Pretty good food and a good variety. Staff is nice. What I dont like is they charge adult price for kids over 10. My daughter is 11 and doesnt eat much but I still had to pay the adult price for her. Also they charge for drinks. Shouldnt drinks be included at buffets?

My family and I eat here often, and we always leave full and satisfied. The food is great and the service there is great, and all the workers are friendly.Tonight my husband accidentally left his phone and after running a few errands and getting home is when we realized he forgot his phone there at the restaurant. Thankfully when I called after hours, someone picked up and was nice enough to wait for us as we drove back to get my husbands phone.My husband is on call for work, so it was urgent for us to get his phone back. We both really appreciate that not only do they have good food, but they have good people who work there and care about their customers.To the two men that stood and waited for us, thank you!

Been here a lot. Lots of different food choices. Waiters are respectful so leave a hefty tip. Also they have a chef to cook you up something on the spot like steak. Ever since I been here havent gone to hometown buffet. They have the regular half of what hometown has then the other half has sushi, delicious deserts.

I read the reviews before going to eat here and all the reviews were good however, when we went on a sunday we were extremely disappointed. The carpets were filthy and looked like they have never been vacuumed, everything we touched was sticky and many of the food Items were old and had unsafe food temperatures; So I have to wonder if the reviews that we read online before going in person were written by people who were paid?, or was it a grand Buffet in another city?, because I can tell you without reservation and all respect due that this was one of the worst buffets I have ever been to.

For the price of the food and drinks I love this place. I give the place 6 stars out of 5 stars. The food is very very good tasting. All kinds of sea food. For the price you cant beat it. It is all you can eat place. The price was 9.00 for lunch. The drinks are about 1.65 for 24 of glass of soda. Unlimited refills.

Really loves this place.. Food is always fantastic..Just one fault-womans bathroom is always nasty.. (mens was spotless, go figure). And you watch the main lady that seats you, use it two times and nothing is done.. Please take care of this problem.. not busy and we were there and hour.. everyone must be at the new Golden Corral..Update 9-25-2018... I now changed my stars from 5 to 1.. Think new owners now, not pleasant at all and food quality went down tremendously. In other words I/we will not be back.. 🤔😝😏

Really good buffet. Wide variety of different dishes, soups, fruit, desserts. Price is reasonable (especially if youre hungry). Lots of different flavors. Staff mostly ignores you once youre seated, which is fine. Restrooms could be cleaner, but nobody is coming here for the toilets. Worth a visit, especially if youre in a group.

Its really great. The buffet has many choices. All kinds of food. There is soup and sushi too. And also a tepanyaki station. Kid friendly and for all ages. The price of lunch just went up though. From 9.87 to 10.61. So I assume that dinner went up a little. All in all you will be satisfied once you are done eating.

Took mom for Mothers Day!!! Line was out the door. We were expecting poor service and poor quality of food because of the holiday crowd. HAPPY to be wrong! The food was delicious, come with a sense of humor and the servers will reciprocate. We had a ball. The guy who cooks the food you bring to him was hilarious. Be sure to tip for that service, its worth it!!

Worse place ever! Roaches on the food!!!I knew they had close down before but I wasn’t too sure of the reasons. It’s been re opened, and I took my son for lunch today. After eating some shrimps I decided to try the salmon because it looked good. Once I was going to take a bite I saw some blackish stuff on it. Once I took a good look at it.... IT WAS A ROACH! I could not believe it! I looked at the rest of the salmon in the trays on the buffet bar and there was more! I asked to speak to the manager and he confirmed it was a COCKROACH! He said that they had a problem before but that they had taken care of it! Obviously not! It was so gross! Do not eat there!

Whats going on here. Everyone (the staff) had a Bluetooth hanging out their ear & was talking to someone. Very UN-attentive servers. When I was checking out the guy at the register, while he was doing my transaction, kept talking....I thought he was talking to me. Im saying what...what...what are you asking me....finally he looks at me and starts laughing and pointing to his Bluetooth and saying oh not you...AWKWARD!!! Food was just okay, nothing really good but nothing bad either. A lot of almost empty trays and really not much selection. It was kind of dark in the food area. The lights where not on in the grill & sushi area....IDK, that was just kind of weird cause there were people working in those areas. we were really excited to go because of the posted pictures. It was our first trip and I think our last. Two stars cause the place was very clean. Too bad cause its fairly close to home. Not so Grand of an experience for use.

Couldnt find a single dish that tasted good / authentic, other than maybe the Orange Chicken, and even that wasnt great.The fruit wasnt any good, I had to spit out my orange immediately after putting it into my mouth.After arriving home, I had diarrhea within about 30 minutes.

I have usually enjoyed this place. They serve a nice buffet at a good price. However, the last time I went, some of the food was not very fresh. The lemons had mold. The teppanyaki was a disappointment. (I sent it back) The service weak. It could have been a bad day but it could have gone down hill.

The Asian restaurant version of Sizzler. Pretty good for what it is. Tons of wonderful selection and the price isnt bad especially if you catch their lunch time specials.Wait staff is half-assed, which is whats expected at these types of places, and they dont refill drinks. Sometimes they are slow to clear dirty plates, etc.If getting help in the English language is important to you, you wont like this place. I dont know what they are speaking but it is not Japanese.The only thing disgusting about this place is having to watch the porky pigs who can barely fit in their seats, pile their plates up high enough for 4 people with everything they shouldnt be eating. First and last time. We stopped here to let 5 oclock traffic die down. Never again!!Fried shrimp was hard and dry, crab legs smelled like our red slider(turtle) tank after we feed him. $12.99 For adults, $6.99 kids, this place SUCKS!!! Nothing is good. Only upside is they serve crab legs and are next to Walmart. Other than that this place has gnats, the bathrooms smell gross and the front entrance used to have turtles but they kept getting sick and dying. Uh oh after going there for many years tonight they had rotten sushi,they didnt give us the senior discount, and when we went to pay they said that the debt card was no good so we would have to pay cash. We made a call to the bank and found out that we had more than enough in our account and they also took money from the account so we had to pay twice for the same order. So if you plan on going there dont unless you plan on paying with cash. Watch your pennies they wont give you the discount unless you beg for it.

In the last 11months, this place has changed wautressses, and cooks several times the food used, to be good but not no more, its usually very greasy, or over seasond some of the suchi has no fresh taste, the fish has a look like its old, but has been cured, and debacterialized, and to make matters worse uts a fact, that two people have been send to the hospital due to food poisoning, wether they ate too much, or had something in there,that caused it,,,, its true for the seafood, like fish suchi, and shrimp, if its old or not,, cleaned right before serving or cooking it can cause some people serius digestive, pains or, possible poisoning,, please be carefull here especially if bringing children, or you habe a sensitive stomach, yours truly. er.

They needa check the food when it dries out because its gross. The food is alright, like if youre bored and have time to kill, then you could go to the Grand Buffet in Pomona. Some of the food is packed with sodium which is not okay with my taste buds, but I mainly go only for the sushi. I dont mind going again, but itd be better if all the food was checked atleast once an hour to see if the food has been dried out.

A group of my friends and I had gone for lunch and we felt like there was not too much to choose from. At the time their health inspection letter was a B and the person helping our table was very rude with their actions. I dont mind going back but I have not had any reason to return. Do not eat here! Their current health inspection grade is a C! I went there yesterday and when I saw that they had a C I asked if I could have a copy of their latest health report. By law when the public asks to see the latest copy of the health inspection report they have to give you the complete and full report. Well Grand Buffet said that they did not have any paperwork and that the health inspection just put there letter grade out there on the door. Which of course, was a lie. They refused to give me a copy of their latest health inspection report. Well lets just say that I will never be going back there again and I will be calling the City of Pomona and letting them know that Grand Buffet denied having any paperwork and refused to give me a copy of their health inspection report.

Love this buffet! The sushi is really good dont listen to others on here!. The sushi chef makes a variety of rolls but my fav is spicy tuna with sashimi on top. There are seriously big trays of sashimi to add to your sushi or eat alone. The workers are super friendly. Here is a tip put some sauce by the dumplings in a bowl, then go to the mongolian bbq add chilli garlic green onion for a delicious dipping sauce. There is also seaweed salad ! Too much healthy fruit for dessert and chinese egg tarts. There is even mung bean mochi! My sons fav is chicken on a stick. The seafood soup is great with a dash of white pepper. If you dont like soda they have horchata. The atmosphere is beautiful with lush artistic furniture.
