Tasty Dumpling in Sacramento

Authentic tasting soup dumplings. The soup is light but flavorful. We also enjoyed the shrimp and pork dumplings. You can tell by the smoothness of the dumpling skin that they make the dough very well. Was pleasantly surprised and pleased with this Sacramento strip mall Chinese restaurant. I hope they do well.

Solid spot for some Chinese eats!Ordering is a bit unorganized. You pay first and then sit at a table (if available). There are a lot of to-go orders. If there are no tables available, people tend to clump in the lobby area, so it becomes a huge cluster.Food was good. We ordered:-pork XLB-pan fried juicy pork bun-stir fry green bean-xi an cold noodlesAll tasted good, and came out quickly and hot!Be careful of the floors. Grease feeling over entire floor...almost slipped twice.Parking in the plaza.

It’s in Crocker Village with tons of restaurants around. This place is nicely decorated, paying homage to the history of dim-sum culture. They even have instructions on how to eat the Xiao Long Baos.Their chili oil tasted homemade. Good quality chili oil is important for improving the dim sum experience.I was hesitant to try their Xi’an cold noodles but they had a unique flavor to them. No regrets there.And their stew…huge portions. Two of us couldn’t finish it. Also a unique noodle dish.

Absolutely amazing! This was a first real experience for dumplings handmade! We ordered beef potstickers, pork and shrimp dumplings, and red bean buns. All were unbelievably soft and fluffy and physically bursting with flavor (no joke, have a napkin ready 🤤). I do not live that clHighly Tasty Dumpling but I will happily make the drive for this place. My kiddos also greatly enjoyed the food as well!As for the service, the red bean buns made were not ideal according to the sweet woman who made them and the eye offered a refund or they could make more. Unfortunately we couldn’t wait due to plans else were but I can completely appreciate and respect that they won’t just give you anything, they have a standard that they hold on to!Highly recommend this place so much!

To celebrate my sisters new job, she came to visit, and we decided to make a stop at Domi Domi. Later, on our way to Bennets Kitchen, we noticed Tasty Dumplings and couldnt resist. We made a big turn around since the nearby streets doesn’t allow for a u-turn. After some adventure trying to find our way back to the same plaza, we were even more determined to try Tasty Dumplings. So, the two of us ended up ordering six dishes once again! We had to have the Spicy Pork Dumplings for their delicious soup, the Fried Dumplings as a tradition, Dan Dan noodles as per her request, Popcorn Chicken because, well, who can resist it? We also enjoyed the yummy Spicy Garlic Wonton and topped it off with a Cucumber Salad to balance the proteins and vegetables in our meal. Surprisingly, we ended up with leftovers—six dishes to be exact! Even though we couldnt finish everything, the quality of the food remained amazing the next day. Thats a true testament to its deliciousness and high quality.

The Spicy Pork Xiao Long Bao was the only Good item the rest of the food not as flavorful & Very Salty. The soup had an almost fishy aftertaste and the Chicken Dumpling was very Bland. The Cucumber Salad was just Pickled Cucumbers no Onions or greens.

Food was great. Loved the beef roll as well as the xaio long bao and I’ve been back for it a couple times now. Not much inside seating but the service was great👍

The dumplings are delicious! Their dumpling wrappers are so fresh and chewy in the best way. We tried pan fried and steamed - both were lovely. Filling was well flavored, soup inside was a bit sweet but still good.Also ordered the broccoli which was solid and the brisket beef noodle soup, which I found less impressive. The beef didn’t taste like it was very good quality and the soup didn’t have much depth. Service was ok and the atmosphere there feels much more like a takeout vs sit down spot.Coming back again just to get my fill of dumplings!

This use to be my go to place for dumplings but the last visit left me less then impressed. Ordered one $14 shrimp fried rice and there were only seven cocktail sized shrimp, yes seven. When we asked management for more shrimp; seeing as this is $4 more then normal fried rice, management laughed it off and said that’s how it’s made. In addition to their poor attitude to customers, the customers dining table closest to the front door was being used for meal preparation and or to wrap dumplings.

The building is well decorated and very clean while the service was great. I ordered the braised beef brisket noodle soup and the beef roll. Both were not the best that Ive had but were still good.Noodle soup:Spice level on the soup was reasonable—hot enough for a kick but not unbearable for someone who has a low spice tolerance. Brisket was tender and flavorful, and the noodles were nice and chewy.Beef roll:On the smaller end than what Ive had elsewhere but still filling.
