I’ve had thai food from 3 other places this year & they don’t come close to Tasty Food To Go! So flavorful & reasonably priced for the portions you get. It’s challenging to pick a dish because everything is so yuuuum!!! Tofu Pad Thai (chose very spicy) is the best I’ve ever had: perfect taste & texture, just added some lime once I got home. My mum’s coconut soup tasted wonderful, the way the lemongrass & other flavors complement each other is such a joy!

This is the best it gets next to Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos cuisine (having traveled to these countries my self) and the closest! Every time I visit SoCal, I make sure to go out if my way to get me some really good authentic pad Thai and beef salad (as shown in photos). I have not yet tried any of their other specialty dishes cause I never get tired of having the same thing here lol but I’m sure it’s super delicious, you can’t go wrong! High quality and fresh ingredients for a very good reasonable price for the amount of portions you get. Make sure to get a side order of egg rolls and Thai tea with your meal, super good and rich in flavor.It’s a hidden secret gem that’s definitely worth making the drive and finding a parking spot. Cash only and carry out but they do have a cute patio in the front where you can enjoy your meal.

Pretty good pad see ew. I would say that the chicken had great flavor where other Thai restaurants lack in seasoning. I do feel like it was a little over powering on the garlic. If I’m not wrong the hint of black pepper added a nice touch.No issue with wait time. Limited parking.

First timer tonight. We got chicken pad see ew and chicken pad thai, and a mango sticky rice. The staff was warm and friendly, and made suggestions for what items to try next.Everything was super delicious, with big portion sizes for the noodle dishes. The pad see ew was just the right amount of funky, and very savory and good. The noodles were beautifully chewy! The pad thai was also great; everything tasted fresh and authentic. The mango sticky rice had a rich deep flavor that Ive never tasted in that dish before!Well definitely be back again for more!

I knew the food was gonna be good as soon as I saw the cooks in the kitchen. It was a group of grandmas and one grandpa in charge of peeling. So you know it was made with love. I got the fried chicken and chicken pad thai. The fried chicken was ok but the pad thai was great. The portion was alot bigger than I expected, its more than enough for two people. I would absolutely recommend and will be back.

Moved to Long Beach a few months agoand been looking for a local go-to Thai place. We finally found it! We called in our order, it wasn’t ready when I arrived but that was okay because the staff that was there was so friendly, welcoming and engaging. She was awesome! The food was amazing; pad Thai, pineapple fried rice and Papaya Salad. Enough food for two days! I will be back. I want to try it all 🤣🔥

I am a big time foodie, have tried SO many Thai restaurants and by far Tasty Thai has my vote for the BEST Thai food in CA. The aromatic flavors, all of the different herbs and spices ARE incredibly flavorful and VERY authentic. And the staff are super friendly. I will definitely be coming back!

Visiting from San Diego and happy to have found this place for my husband’s birthday. Big portions, very flavorful, not greasy or salty. Loved the Drunken Noodles with all the vegetables (I’m a vegetarian) and the rest of the family loved the Panang Curry, Pineapple Fried Rice and Pad Thai. The gentleman at the register (owner?) was incredibly friendly and we had a lovely philosophical conversation while waiting for our order. Wishing this business many years of success.

What an experience. The food is high quality, fresh, and delicious. You may have to wait a little while sometimes but that is because every order is made individually, even the soups, which are made in large batches at most Thai restaurants. This wasnt an issue for me because while you wait, you can get an affordable haircut nextdoor in the salon, owned by the same people. The owner, Lam, could not have been nicer and made me feel very welcome.Go get yourself some cash, call in, and prepare yourself for some seriously good eats.

Great little place! ORDER “NO SPICE” if you tend to order mild at other places. I think I’m pretty spice tolerant but ordering “mild” on some dishes renders them occasionally inedible. The pad thai is really good in that its not too sweet or a weird bright orange like other places. Always ask for the fresh chili to go as well. The soups come with rice. Best Thai food I have had, twice. Then you add in nice staff. Cap it off with one of the most engaging people you will ever meet, the owner. I am only visiting, but will eat here as often as possible when I return. Call ahead, as people are discovering this hidden gem and wait times can be long if you just show up. Food was cheap and tasty . Ordered two orders of chicken wings, five eggrolls, and chicken lo main. Feed four adults and one child for $30.00 I would recommend . Hard to find parking so park across the street in the Gonzalez market and walk across. Only thing I would change would be the sweet chili sauce for the egg rolls it was kind of watery. Other than that a basic no frills place with good food. We ate outside and it was nice . Everyone was happy with food . Highly recommend.

I love Thai food! This is some of the best Thai cooking I have ever tasted. The savor flavors of this Thai cooking was an unexpected treat. I suspect the reason for the complexity of flavors is due the the fact that the cooks are from a mix of Laos, Thailand and Cambodia.We had the Crunchy Pork with Chinese Broccoli, the Red Curry with Chicken and the Pad Kee Mow and all three were off the charts! Ive moved away from long beach 2xs to lynwood and to hunntington beach and anytime Im looking for thai I drive straight to them. I love them. My favorite dishes are the combo fried rice and their egg rolls are theeeee best . I legit buy 6 minimum . Also their mint leaf chicken is delicious ! Honestly everything is good . The prices are super fair, the taste is outstanding (some the best pad thai I have had), if you are a spice freak like myself the extra spicy is good, but I could go hotter. Give you a perspective I put ghost pepper, scorpion peppers, and birds eye chilis in just about most of what I eat. This made my mouth tingle, but not sweating. Will come back again 100%. The place looks clean, I found the food to be fantastic. I stopped in with my friend when we were driving to the aquarium to get some food. Although the food did take a bit longer than I expected, it was was well worth it, everything was made fresh and infront of you. This is some of the best pad thai Ive had. I try this dish all over when traveling and am frequently disappointed, but not this time. This is delicious, richly flavored, generous portion, and a beautiful presentation even in a to go box. They convinced me to try larb for the first time too. We politely asked if we could change the beans in the green tea shaved ice for something else. Before I could finish asking a person behind the counter interrupted me saying in a very short temper No substitution allowed.Which is fine but honestly, weve never been there so we had no idea what their policy was. And we were politely asking, not demanding. So the waiters rude attitude towards us asking them is unprofessional and down right rude.They must have a lot of people ask. If they dont allow it and are tired of people asking they need to put a sign at their register that says Sorry, no substitutions. This place is a absolute disgrace. They don’t care about their customers at all. Don’t get me wrong the food is good. But I have been there several times, I used to be a regular, but over and over and over my orders where being switched up and messed up. Wrong food, rude customer service! The tai tea is all watery and not the same! Today I went in for chicken and beef fried rice, I payed and took my order home and there’s only chicken. Okay no biggy, I call and ask for my order to be fixed. I ask them several times if I need to bring in the food to switch my rice, they completely throw me off by telling me they’ll add egg rolls, or whatever, I ask them again and again. And when I go they finally decide to say I needed to prove my order was wrong. I told them my situation and they ignored the fact and never gave me my order. NEVER GO HERE! The rice is too greasy now anyways. Terrible place.

Opened my world up to Papaya salads, there is a Thai style and Laotian style. Thai is with shrimp Paste and lao is more fermented. Lao style with a carne burrito from Tams was flipping amazing! Sometime you need Tams with Som Tam.

Fantastic and tasty as hell. Extremely filling, any 1 dish makes 2 meals. I usually eat vegetarian so I usually just get veggie panang and add my own tofu. Easy 2 meals, can be three of you make a lil extra rice
