2023-11-15 23:30:08We’ve been coming to this Shanghainese restaurant ever since it opened and the quality and the tastes have always been consistent. Today, we’ve returned after a two-month break and found out the dishes tasted different. The beef buns (牛肉包子)were pretty good, may be a tad better than before. It would appear that there was a new management/ownership and staff since our last visit. Our regular servers were no longer there and there was a different chef. Although the dishes tasted different, they were fine (though we do miss a little of the old tastes) and will probably come back again. There is a 10-year anniversary sale going on right now (time sure flies) and you get a 20% discount. So, it’s probably worth a try to see if you like the new chef and tastes.

2022-12-20 08:55:11My family and I enjoyed the Spicy Boiled Fish, Hunan Style Lamb, and Beef & Chinese Chives w/ Dried Bean Curd!Delicious and spicy.. perfect meals for a cold, winter night.Due to inflation, the price of each dish has increased by about $5-$6 since beginning of the year (2022) but the portions are big and good for 4 people.

2022-12-21 19:48:08Serving authentic Chinese food. First time visited and tried salted duck, string beans, and ground beef tofu soup. They were pretty normal; nothing outstanding nor bad. Services were okay. Hot tea and rice will cost extra.

2022-07-21 06:41:44Took the kiddos here for dumplings. They werent disappointed. The staff are fast, friendly and made my 4-year old feel welcome. Both kids loved the dumplings. Next time, Ill skip the rice and just go all-in on those, because the kiddos filled up on them.

2018-12-04 21:23:00Excellent variety, nice presentation of food, good service, and delicious food. The menu has a good variety of dumplings, rice cakes, noodles, and drinks. Boys particularly liked their soup dumplings and I particularly liked their rice cake stir fry. The drinks here also go well with the meals and the boys liked their milk tea and smoothies.

2022-09-04 18:25:02This place is legit authentic Chinese food. Got the brisket beef noodle bowl. Its the best. Must try. Also got the Shanghai pork bun. Its lacking in a way. Sort of plain, not tasty but the chilli oil/vinegar made up for it. Both good amount and price. This place do have a weird vide where you dont fit in though. Even Im Asian I feels out of place eating there. For me next time best for take out.

2023-11-01 20:04:31I just ate at this restaurant and the service was not good at all, When I arrived, I was standing at the door and every woman who worked there saw me. They did not acknowledge me at all. So after a couple of minutes, I ended up just sitting down and seating myself. But as soon as an asian family walked in after me, they were greeted and seated. After about five minutes of me looking at the menu menu, I finally waved at one of the servers so that I can place my order. I should have left than. I placed my order. I ate my food, and when it came time to pay and went up to put a register to do so. When I didnt leave a tip to lady at the register held out her hand saying tip. I said no, and then she said you have to tip. I then told her no I do not have to tip you, the service was terrible. Then she says dont come here anymore. These ppl are so racist its not even funny. They only like their own kind. They will NOT be getting anymore of my money. My meal was $12.06 btw

2019-12-10 05:22:15UPDATE: 12-09-19 Returned Visit. The fish soup is commendable. The Stir Friend Rice Cake with pork is very good. I paid $2 for extra pork. The Stir fried Noodle with Shrreded Beef adding $2 for extra meat is very very unsafistying, a big plate of noodles with less than 3 oz. of Beef and lil bit of cabbage, and it taste awfully plane. I wouldnt suggest any stir fried noodle plates. It is typical of old fashioned Chinese restaurant, they are very stingy on meats.UPDATE 8-17-19 Return Visit.Up grade to 4 Stars. tried the Fish Soup and Shanghai Chow Mien. The Fish Soup is commendable, a little less fish than desired but it was good and tasty. The Chow Mien is just noodles and Vegas, with very little pork, same as the stir Fried Rice Cake I ordered last time. So, Ill giveFish Soup 5 StarsStir-Fried Rice Cake 4 StarsStir-Fried Shanghai Noodle 3 Stars.8-14-19: First Time try out, one of the few restaurants that caters Shanghai Cuisine, my whole impression is nothing stands out, just a typical small Chinese Restaurant. The ambience seems pleasant, open, airy with large windows, but not much decors, but they do have a large and clean restroom. Staffs are friendly and services are good and prompt.I ordered their Stir Fried Rice Cake with Pork and Shanghai Vege, Iced Water. As shown in photo, there is a plateful of Rice Cakes but very little TINY SLICED Pork, probably at the most 2 oz. of pork in the whole plate. Also, There is not enough Shanghai Vegetable (A specie of dandelion) to give that special taste this plate is known for.Since there is not many Shanghai Restaurant around the Chino Hills area, I will come back to try other plates

2023-11-11 15:42:22Was there yesterday (also uploaded a photo), took my American friends there after the Chino Airplanes of Fame museum, we all liked the food Bamboo w/ veggie, Shredded Pork w/ fish sauce, ShaoLong Bao (Little Dragon Dumpling) and Yang Chow Fried Rice. This is my go-to place, since I can do my shopping at 99 Ranch and pick up some take-out in one trip.
