Finally found a good restaurant with homemade vegetarian dumplings and noodles. Came here with my young son and he ate the entire 10 pork dumplings himself while I enjoyed the vegetarian dumplings. Wow, he was hungry & so full at the end of our lunch. I must say the best vegetarian dumplings are at Din Tai Fung. The vegetable noodles are tasty and would order these dishes again. There arent many Chinese restaurants that serve vegetarian dumplings so this is a plus. Restaurant is small so come early or later and definitely come hungry! Service was fine.

Best Shanghainese food in the area. If your like me and love Shanghainese food, you can’t go wrong here. The pan friend buns are a must.

Before we moved to Irvine, CA, we went to Tasty Noodle House in San Diego. Its very Impressive, delicious and my kids love it.After moving to Irvine, we went to 2 locations in Chino Hills and Irvine. Very disappointed. Why not follow the standard in San Diego?We ordered the following items in Irvine.Spicy Marinated Mix(麻辣滷三拼)Comment: This is the appetizer. We would expect it tastes good.Shanghai Style Chow Mein(特色上海炒（細/粗）麵)Comment: This is just OK. Not impressive.Shanghai Grilled Pork Bun 8 Pcs(上海生煎包)Comment: No soup inside. The skin is thick. Does not taste the one in San Diego.Shanghai Xiao Long Bao W/ Pork 8pcs(上海小籠包)Comment: My kids said why there is no soup inside and its thick. Maybe its overheated? My daughter did not want to eat anymore because its the bad taste. I had the same taste. Very frustrated and disappointed.Since we tried this one and felt very disappointed, we will not go back definitely.

We came here for early dinner and was able to avoid the crowd. We were seated fairly quickly. We ordered 5 items and all came out quickly except for the pan fried meat buns. Unfortunately the food was nothing spectacular. The garlic pork and the noodles were overly sweet. The basil fish tasted extremely salty and the garlic cucumbers were watery. The only thing that was good were the buns. I really wanted to like the place but it just didnt live to my expectations.

Amazing Chinese food. Came here around 5:30pm and within a few minutes the entire place was packed. The flavor of the dumplings are different than what I am use to but, not going to say its not 5 stars because the wrapper around the dumplings were so well made. The fried fish with the green stuff inside also really good.

A bit pricey for what you get. The Shanghai stir fry rice cake is very yummy. Would have ordered a dish suitable for rice but a single bowl of rice is $3, which is unacceptable to me, so I had to skip. Its not at all competitive considering the competition.Regardless, if price is not an issue, by all means, order up. Its yummy food.

Tasty place. The dumplings are good. Nothing is fancy, but everything is pretty delicious. We had crab noodles which were ok, but the wonton soup was the highlight for soups as it had a bone broth soup base with white pepper flavoring. The fried fosh, string beans, and fried rice were decent. I would recommend this restaurant.

Tons of free parking, easy to find. Food and teas are delicious! They have a wide variety of dishes to choose from and everything was great. The hot and sour soup is definitely more hot than sour, but still flavorful. Onion pancake was probably the best Ive ever had, perfectly crispy and flaky. Xiao long bao was super juicy and flavorful. Veggie fried rice was one of my favorites, chow mein could use less oil. Dont expect any frills with the servers, they are there to write your order down and get your items out only. Theyre not rude though, just very direct/efficient, which I can appreciate. Will def be back

We showed up at 8:15 (supposedly they close at 9) and we even called ahead of time before driving out there to make sure they were still open because it was a holiday. They told us they were indeed open. So we hopped in the car and showed up only to have them turn us away anyway because they had closed. We told them we were the ones who had just called and they told us no anyway. We won’t be trying this place after all.
