2023-08-03 05:11:54Good bowl of hot soup with noodles.Order from phone after scanning QR code. Service is average, since they dont take your order. Just bring your food when ready, no beverage refill, and bring your bill at the end. Make sure you submit your order at the end.

2023-11-08 19:27:44*11/8/2023On a chilly day, my craving for something spicy led me to Tasty Pot, where I ordered the Sichuan Flavor Hot Soup. It comes with napa, beef slices, fish fillet, clam, aorta, imitation crabmeat, tempura, fishball, beef ball, zucchini, enoki mushroom, black mushroom, potato slices, frozen tofu, fried tofu puff, fried tofu skin, potato, noodle, and scallion. The soup itself tasted pretty decent and did an excellent job of warming up my body in the cold weather. What made the experience even better was that I had enough soup left to take home and turn into my own noodle soup for another meal. The flavors held up beautifully, and it felt like getting two delicious meals for the price of one.A pro tip for those planning to visit Tasty Pot: Theres a convenient parking garage right next to the restaurant, making your dining experience even more hassle-free.7/7/2023I recently tried the Sichuan Flavor Hot Soup at Tasty Pot in Daly City, and overall, the experience was decent. The soup contained a variety of ingredients, including napa, beef slices, fish fillet, clam, aorta, imitation crabmeat, tempura, fishball, beef ball, zucchini, enoki mushroom, black mushroom, potato slices, frozen tofu, fried tofu puff, fried tofu skin, potato, noodle, and scallion. While everything tasted okay, I was disappointed with the Sichuan flavor. As someone who enjoys spicy food, I specifically requested the extreme spicy option. However, the broth failed to deliver the desired level of spiciness and the characteristic numbing sensation that is expected from Sichuan cuisine. It would have been more enjoyable if the broth had packed a stronger punch in terms of spice.Despite this drawback, the overall taste of the ingredients was satisfactory. The variety of items included in the soup created a diverse and enjoyable combination of flavors. However, I believe that focusing on improving the authenticity and intensity of the Sichuan flavor would greatly enhance the dining experience.

2023-01-24 03:37:12Their little pre-assembled hot pots are OK. It looks nothing like their marketing photos though. I had the #12, seafood hot pot $22 and added meatballs $4. I kept the default setting when ordering on the QR coded website, which was no spicy and pork soup. The food tasted fine. The side of meatballs were still frozen inside and I had to leave it in the hot soup for a while. After a few bites, I should have ordered it with some spice. They only have hot sauce and soy sauce as condiments at the table. I asked the waiter for some hoisin sauce for the seafood but they dont have it. I also asked for maybe some peanut sauce or sesame oil or ginger but they also dont have that either. What?! A hot pot restaurant without sauces. It is kind of ridiculous. Service was fine.

2023-05-15 04:46:42Food was decent, good value I guess. I got the herbal pot and enjoyed it but felt really bloated afterwards.I also had the leftovers a few days later that gave me a bad stomachache afterwards 😢You have to keep stirring small pot to ensure things are cooked/flavored by the soup.I’d go to Tasty Pot again but not at this location.

2021-10-21 05:05:29The biggest thing that surprised me how FAST they got out our orders. They have a system that you scan the QR code on thr table and order your food from there. The hotpot itself was really tasty, but they didnt really give much meat or veggies even if you ordered extra. But if this is your first hotpot experience, its not that big of a deal. If youre used to hot pot you may be a bit disappointed with portion size.I got the lamb pot and it was really good!

2019-02-23 03:04:44I live in nearby Westlake and we go shopping here all the time. Around the corner from Walgreens and nearby Banana Island is a small chain restaurant called Tasty Pot. It was a cold day (polar vortex) and this place gets busy quick so we managed to get here a little earlier before the lines got long. They have a menu that you can choose from 12 bowls each varying in size. Sizes 1-7 offer the most bang for your buck at around 14.50 for dinner. After that you get a larger size but definitley pricier at options 8-10 17.50 and 11, 12 for $20 dollars. I think 1-7 is sufficient enough for me, although sometimes I do crave the Seafood Lobster Hot Soup but for that price I can get it better elsewhere. This time I chose the Beef Hot Soup. It comes with napa, beef slices, enoki mushroom, Taro, Corn, Meatball, Kamaboko (white fish cake), Crab meat, clam, and some extra garnish. I picked spice level Medium, and that felt appropriate rating for the spice level. After that you can choose rice or vermicelli in which I picked Rice and I also got there Achatea boba which is much better than the previous boba I had there. Tasty Pot isnt the highest quality (the soup is definitely too salty) and the ingredients are crazy fresh but it offers a really good meal for the price, and they serve it pretty quickly. I would give it a 3.5 stars but the staff is nice so Ill up this to 4 stars. My wife got the cheesy milk and Ill say its interesting but she likes the flavor so thats all that matters :)

2019-12-20 13:35:00Ive been to other Tasty Pots and this was like all the other ones - a solid okay. This was my first time trying the milk flavor - it was interesting and I will probably stick with the beef or curry one next time. The miso soup was decent, a little salty though.Biggest complaint is the spice. I usually get mild (level 1 spice) at other Tasty Pots which enhance the flavour of the soup. But this time, for both pots, the spice was pure spice - it was an unpleasant spiciness that was just there. Shouldve just gotten 0 spice haha.

2022-05-28 23:01:27I like the food, but I ordered the milktea with less ice not less tea😅. I asked the waiter why I’m getting the milktea with less tea instead of less ice. He was arguing with me with no shame. What a good customer service 🤙🤙🤙
