Love tasty pot as they serve personal sized pots. With regular hot pot, I always feel rushed. You scan and order through QR code. Top picture is Taiwanese mild spicy and bottom picture is beef hot pot. Both were good. And you get a free iced tea beverage with order.

One of my friend celebrated her birthday and this is her blowout celebration. Everybody got their own version, I got the Lamb Hot Pot, my wife got Japanese Miso, the celebrant got All Vegetarian, a couple shared Curry Beef, the celebrants husband got Beef Sacha and our last friend got Seafood Lobster Pot. The serving is generous and very good tasting hot pot soups, lots of vegetables and condiments. Very good for a winter December dinner. Everybody enjoyed their dinner and had an excellent dinner experience. Will visit again given a chance.

This restaurant was very different than the original hot pot restaurants I’ve been too. The servings are personal sized meaning you get a bowl with a burner at the bottom of it. It’s good if you want to have hot pot by yourself or don’t want to have to make selections on what to add to the pot like an original hot pot restaurant. I got the beef with medium spicy, it wasn’t really spicy so if you want a kick of spice select the spicier option. Cool spot to check out if you love soups without the group sized pot.

It’s perfect for the rainy day. We been here many times since opening. Taste still good and yummy. Most of the time we order Lamb hot soup and Beef hot soup with Taiwanese supreme spicy hot soup base. Service is quick and friendly.

Came on a Friday at 5pm just as they opened knowing it would get busy. You have to order using a QR code through your phone. Once thats done meal came out quick and hot. Perfect for a cold November evening. Finding a parking spot might be tricky with so many other establishment in the same mall.

The place seems always packed so obviously this is an unpopular opinion but my husband and I really didn’t like this place. Water in plastic cups. I got the veggie pot and the broth tasted like bath water it was so bad and everything had no flavor. They forgot the fried tofu skins. And there was kind of a chemical smell from the fire they used to keep the hotpot hot.

I split the Sichuan flavor hot soup with one friend. The broth was delicious (we chose medium spicy) and flavorful without feeling MSG or salt-loaded. It was so loaded with toppings that we had to refill broth once (free) to have enough for the items.From the website, Sichuan description:*Medium to Flaming Spicy.* Napa, beef slices, fish filet, flam, aorta, imitation crabmeat, tempura, fish ball, beef ball, zucchini, enoki mushroom, black mushroom, potato slices, frozen tofu, fried tofu puff, fried tofu skin, potato noodle, & scallions.You get a huge variety of toppings that add up to a lot of food even for just the standard order. I dont see how a single person can finish one hot pot unless they take food home. When they refilled our broth, I could see that the broth had cloudy, milky color from cooking for a long time. It was so delicious!The Napa cabbage was the perfect level of tender crisp, we didnt get any cold items in our soup. All items were the right temperature and cooked evenly, so we didnt feel rushed to eat quickly (which Ive had to do at Boiling Point). Im a fish ball fiend and ordered extra fish balls, but it ended up being too much food for the both of us. The house satay sauce is amazing, the fermented soybean sauce is on the sweet side which Im not used to.The servers were super nice and attentive. If there was anything we needed, they helped us right away, and then made sure to top off broth or drinks for all the other tables while they were on the floor. I was able to enjoy dinner with a friend and chat leisurely without feeling rushed by the staff.I enjoyed the food and service here so much, Ill be coming back with my husband. Highly recommend for people new to hot pot that dont want to feel overwhelmed with choosing toppings. I think its a way better value eating here than at all-you-can-eat places that are restrictive on the expensive toppings or that you would have to eat excessively to get your moneys worth.The only drawbacks were that the side vermicelli order was tiny, and fish ball side order was about $5 and came with like 5 or 6 pieces. The standard order is huge already so I wont order extras next time.

There was a long wait when we visited for dinner around 8:00 PM, but it was worth it. I was new to this kind of one-person hot pot but I enjoyed how it turned out. My order was the lamb hot pot with medium spicy level and my sister got the healthy veggie one with mild spicy. Both broth taste nice and hot with lots of delicious ingredients. My favorite were the meatballs, the enoki mushrooms, and the dried fried tofu. In addition to the hot pot, I also got to choose the noodles or rice, so I picked vermicelli, which came out very soft and light to eat. I also tried adding instant ramen and this was even a better fit with the hot pot!

Fast service and filling portions. Ordering is done on your phone via QR code, which was convenient. The pot came out only 5 minutes after ordering, and the lit fire under your pot ensures that the broth stays hot. I came for lunch on a Monday, and the restaurant was about 60% full. The service was helpful but generally left you alone unless you needed something, which I appreciated. My lunch totaled $26 including tip, so prices have definitely gone up over time but the portion was so filling I couldn’t finish all of it, especially because they give you extra starch/carb for free (e.g. rice or noodles). There is garlic soy sauce and hot sauce at each table. Overall, great experience and would definitely recommend for those craving a good, filling, customizable pot.

New experience for sure. Good places are always crowded. Service was subtle but attentive.For those of you that might think this is the next level of stovetop ramen you grew up with, proceed with caution. Think of the little veggie packet in cup of noodles but all hulked up, in every way - full bite sized pieces of exotic veggie, boiled meats and seafood as well as a variety of broths with a spectrum of spice levels. If you prefer ramen (versus vermicelli) noodles, be sure to choose accordingly and scale back on any number of standard add-ins to suit your personal palette. Next time, I will target the less is more approach. Chopped/diced veggies would enhance the experience.

The food was excellent. There are varying levels of spiciness for your soup. I would recommend starting off with mild or go with no spiciness because you can always add heat but you cant go backwards. Boba drinks are readily available as well.

One of the few things you cant get as take-out (or at least it wont be as good) is hot pot. I had been thinking about it for a while (thanks to a certain someone...) and I just had to find a way to get it. I drove by it one day to scope it out, and you can see they had full outdoor dining under a tent with tables spread out pretty far apart (see picture). I decided it was safe enough, so I brought my parents and we had our one and only experience of outdoor dining during Covid-19. Might as well experience it while I could, yanno?

I come here a lot, usually at night, and its pretty much crowded most of the time. Remember to check the wait list on yelp before going!My go to dish is usually the non spicy beef hotpot with vermicelli (you can choose rice instead). The sauces are on the side of the table. I like mixing all the sauces together for me to dip my food. The hotpot comes pretty quickly. The food is pretty much cooked and ready to eat, but there are some foods that you should wait a bit and push towards the middle bottom of the bowl (like the corn and tomato and anything else you want cooked more). They give you a decent amount of food and it satisfies my hot pot cravings. They also have some dessert and drinks that are pretty good. I haven’t gotten the chance to try their dessert, but their drinks are good!

The portions can be a bit lacking if you’re hungry, but you can keep asking for soup refills to help make your meal last a bit longer.I’ve been here dozens of times (I usually just stick with the lamb) and service has always been very good and quick. They’re pretty attentive overall. Seats and tables are comfortable. The space is comfortable and not overly crowded.Parking right outside of Tasty Pot can get a bit crowded but park in the surrounding business spots like Burger King or across from the Chase bank.

Wow. What a gem. I came here for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised about the portions and the items (rice and tea) that came with the lunch menu.You order your food via QR code, and I choose the beef soup, mild spice, with rice and black tea. The black tea is sweet and chilled. That was a nice contrast with the hot soup. Now for the soup, they have a soup bowl on top of a box that has a heating element. As you eat your soup gets hotter and hotter and the ingredients start taking on the flavors of the both. Let me tell you, they pack the bowl with lots of meat and veggies! I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the price. I highly recommend you give this place a try.

Ive been here so many times now, and although the pots are filled to the brim with fixings, the flavor of the broth continues to diminish. Taiwanese hot pot is my favorite and I love the spicy levels. But as the spice goes up, the flavor also goes down. So I tried no spice, and still, very little flavor. The curry is probably the most underwhelming dish, but the miso is far better and probably my go-to here. Its all good, but in my opinion, not great. There are so many great hot pot places in the Bay Area. Add to this the inflated prices and the only saving grace is the pot overflowing with veggies and seafood, and the convenience of location.

First time visiting. Best part of the soup was the base broth (I had the #1 beef soup), but the quality choice of meat and fish put in the soup was bad. I ended up only drinking the broth. Service was meh. Waiters/waitresses were all in a rush and hurry and didnt speak English well and couldnt understand me. I dont mind that they dont know English as long as they call someone else to help me that wouldve been best instead of leaving me uncertain of what was going on. I think they have potential but Im not interested in trying them again.

Hands down one of the places I always go to on a cold day. The food portions are filling and you have the option of having rice or noodles in addition to your hot pot. You also get to choose how spicy you want your soup to be. I usually go with number 9 and I highly recommend it! 👌🏽Update: Lately, Ive had less luck with the tastiness of tasty pot. The soup has been a hit or miss. Its been too oily or too salty the past few times. I hope theyll be good again during my next visit.

I havent been here since pre pandemic times. The food is still excellent. I think the portions may have gotten a bit smaller, but with food shortages and rising cost, thats understandable. First time here. I am from out of town. A friend brought me here. Long waiting line but they will take Reservations. Waited at least half hour on a Saturday night. There are 12 choices of Hot Pot Soup from beef to seafood, from Thai to Japanese. Then choose your spice level from none to flaming spicy. Then your choice of rice or vermicelli. You can also add some side dishes at additional price.

This place is very similar to Boiling Point, but less crowded. At most you wait 10-15 before getting seated, and the theyre equally good.If you like hot pot, you need to try this place. They have variety of hot pot selection, and you can also specify the spiciness. You then get an option of a bowl of rice or noodle to accompany the hot pot, and also iced tea which comes as part of the meal.The food is delicious and refreshing. I usually order mine very spicy and it really fits my taste bud. Ive been here twice by now and both experience have been great. Will keep going in the future.

Very spicy was exactly that. I had the #1, and it was delicious. When they bring it to you, it is very hot, and comes on a tray that has a little flame under it, to keep it that way. I made the rookie mistake of eating it directly from the bowl in that tray.

I love this place. The beef hot soup is my jam, and it is a lot for the amount you pay. They give you so much for each pot, but some add ons are pretty expensive (like how ramen is 1.50 when Im pretty sure its the 30 cent pack, for example). Other than that I really love the beef hot soup, and thats why I give 5 stars.

Personalized hot pots here - you get exactly what you want, all for yourself. The downside is there is really no substitution as its a pre-packaged deal. I.e. you cant even tell them you dont want something. Its all dump it in. The good news is most of their stuff is good and cant go wrong with the beef hot pot. The exception for the stinky tofu. Dont get it - just dont. Your neighbors will appreciate you for that. Youll want to come early for dinner if you dont like waiting. Its been getting more popular these days.

The place was good before the pandemic. So with Covid, they started everything disposable, little cups of sauce without the oils and rest of the stuff they used to put at each table, but now covid is gone and they are still give customers that One little TINY plastic container with red sauce (if you want more you have to ask so they will give one, only) that you cant even dip a piece of cabbage inside it. Not much enjoyable anymore.

True to its name, Tasty Pot does indeed serve up a tasty pot.They have taiwanese style hotpot (different from shabu shabu) and its personal hot pot not shared.People rave and love boiling point but I personally think this place blows boiling point out of the water. In terms of portion and taste, Tasty Pot wins. Their broth in general is tastier and they give more quality content as opposed to filling their pot with vegetables.Their spicy broth is actually really spicy so unless you can handle your spice, be careful!The service here is kind of spotty but the food is worth it!

Spicy here actually does mean spicy. Got the Szechuan flavor hot soup, and the curry flavor hot soup. The Szechuan has more birds eye chili peppers than Szechuan peppers, but is still very good. The curry is very fragrant. You can adjust what comes in the bowl if you prefer as well. They come around with pitchers of broth do you can dilute your soup if its too spicy, or you just want more broth. Fun for groups of people who like different things.

It is a great place to dine at. This place is pretty crowded but just wait about a couple minutes to get a table to start ordering.
