2023-11-18 01:33:15Food here is good but it doesn’t likely look appealing to Americans. Service was very slow and hopefully it improves over time. The ambiance was very nice. The furniture looks very modern and vibrant. The experience: I was just browsing the shopping center and decided to walk in to try this. I asked how long they’d been open because I didn’t know there was an India food place in town. I said: seating for one but he didn’t understand (which is fine). So you have to order from the menus and pay upfront before getting your food. They ask for a tip at that point, which I don’t understand. No services have been provided. I ordered 3 menu items which didn’t have any description so he has to explain the hat they are. Unfortunately this is cumbersome for both employee and customer. It would be better suited if they advertised as all vegetarian as well. The front counter is refrigerated and the compressor turns on about every 20 minutes. It’s a bit distracting.Mango shake was smooth and creamy. Very good!Samosa - Spinach and Cheese was okay. Wish it was hotter. Didn’t seem fresh out the fryer.Alu Pyaaz Paratha was very good and the crème has a sweet taste to it. I’d love to use this as a pizza crust.Pav Bhaji was so good but not enough bread to fully enjoy. The rolls that came with it were incredible with a buttery crust.P - parking: 5/5P - price: 3/5S - seating: 5/5T - time to be served: 3/5T - time to be acknowledged: 5/5V - value: 3/5V - return value: 4/5

2023-10-27 22:46:12Been waiting for The Tasty Temptations to open in our neighborhood for couple of months ... its in the same vicinity as Safeway, Mr Pickles & other businesses so parking is no issue at all lots of area for parking.Since they have opened few days back (Tues- 10/24) not all the items mentioned in the online menu is available right now...eventually they will follow the entire menu .... right now they are focusing on the items displayed on their display menu board. This restaurant only serves vegetarian food .We ordered few items for ToGo -Vada pav - (2 Pieces) - $10.99Experience the iconic flavors of Mumbai with Vada Pav - a spicy potato fritter sandwiched in a soft bun, a street food sensation thats both fiery and fulfilling. The Vada was really big & perfect balance of spice & flavors... Vada Pav is very close to my heart its a childhood nostalgia so had to have it... its made Mumbai style served with 2 chutneys (green-spicy & brown-sweet) along with fried Chillies thats the way its served in most parts of Mumbai... I loved it very much with Chillies which gave that extra spicy kick.Chole Bhature - $ 12.99 (served with 2 Bhature)Bhole Chature is a popular Indian street food originating from North India. It consists of deep-fried, puffy bread served with a spicy and tangy potato curry, creating a mouthwatering combination of textures and flavors.A quirky spin on Delhis fave dish Chole Bhature, this Bhature was small then the other Bhature (regular size is very big) which we are use too ... but it was pretty good fresh & tasty. I had asked for mild chole (garbanzo beans) which we enjoyed it maybe u can ask as per ur level of spice preference.Rajma Rice - $ 10.99 (nice generous portion)Rajma Rice is a comforting North Indian dish that combines tender kidney beans cooked in a rich tomato gravy, served alongside fluffy basmati rice. This hearty and flavorful combination is a favorite for those seeking a satisfying and wholesome meal.Made very well the beans were creamy & soft thats the sign of good Rajma, the curry had nice balance of flavors. It went very well with the pickled onion, Chilli & mango pickle.Samosa - Large (2 Pieces) -$6.99Our Large Samosa is a savory masterpiece - a generous triangular pastry filled with a flavorful blend of spiced potatoes and peas, encased in a golden, crispy crust. Its a hearty and satisfying snack thats perfect for sharing.Very nice flavors & fresh to taste nice size of Samosas went very well with the chutneys ( green & brown) .Overall really liked the food taste & quality, everything was prepared fresh. They also have various snacks & sweets which are nicely arranged in the display shelves.Restaurant was clean & nicely decorated. Ambiance was very nice. Nice seating arrangement ample place. Both the partners were very friendly & patiently explained their menu to the customers. Will definitely come back to try sweets, savory snacks & other items from their menu.

2023-10-29 02:56:51**Tasty Temptations**, the Indian restaurant in Brentwood, CA is a hidden gem. The service is always excellent. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The sweets at Tasty Temptations are simply divine. The motichoor ladoo is some of the best Ive ever had. Its perfectly soft and crunchy, and the taste is rich and flavorful. The mango lassi is also a must-try. Its thick, creamy, perfectly refreshing and with a dash of cardomom. The interior of Tasty Temptations is also very nice. The restaurant is clean and well-decorated, and it has a warm and inviting atmosphere. The tables are spaced out nicely, so you can enjoy your meal in peace. The location of Tasty Temptations is also excellent. Its located right in the heart of Brentwood, within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. This makes it a great place to go for a meal before or after a night out on the town.Overall, Tasty Temptations is a great restaurant with excellent food, service, and atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious Indian meal.**Pros:*** Excellent service* Great sweets* Great interior* Excellent location**Cons:*** None that I can think of!

2023-11-25 07:58:48We checked with him if sweets are fresh, the front person was too rude to answer. He said he don’t know when it was made. We ended up buying and it tasted like a month old and too dry. When we checked with that front person he answered like that’s what I said I don’t know when it was made. When it comes to somasa chat in my life time for the very first time someone served me ice cold samosa chat with chilling sauces 🤦♀️

2023-12-04 14:37:07We are so excited to have a new Indian restaurant in the area. The food was delicious! My favorite was the samosa and my husbands was the Shahi Paneer which both had really good flavor.

2023-12-09 04:07:07The Food was excellent. We dined in had 5 different dishes so we could try a variety. Our family of 5 went for a birthday dinner. We wanted Indian food and this was close to the house. We will definitely be back. We are grateful to have a delish authentic Indian place to add to our dinner rotation. We tried the large samosa, Chloe Bhature, Schezwan noodles, dal mahkhani, Shani paneer, matar paneer and garlic naan

2023-11-12 05:30:22This Mumbai-style restaurant is a flavor-packed delight! The dahi puri, chole bhature, bhel puri, vada pav, and samosa chaat offer a tasty journey through authentic street food. A shout out to amazing service. We got personalized attention and were offered a sample of their dal makhani and gulab jamun which is a must try. Its different from regular store or restaurant ones, larger, more juicy and perfect sweetness.Best part is that it is completely vegetarian. I was accompanied with my Caucasian and Mexican coworkers & they enjoyed the food as well. The textures and spices in each dish create a delicious experience, making it a must-try for anyone craving Indian (Mumbai )flavors.

2023-10-25 04:00:03This restaurant is one of the cutest, cleanest and best Indian restaurants I’ve been to! I walked in and was so happy to see how absolutely nice it is. I am so happy that they are here in Brentwood and hope they stay forever. All of the dishes we ordered were perfect! The chili pakoras have a great filling and are super hot.The pani puri has a really nice homemade puff puri that you can’t find at Indian grocery stores, and the pani is perfect.. The Samosa chaat was excellent - I barely got a bite bc my daughter loved it. ( She never does that when I get samosas from other places)In fact my family ate all of the food so fast and they normally don’t do that with Indian food! So now I just want to try more dishes. We also tried the Puri Chana special. Can’t wait to try all of their chat and veg items. I even told them I want dairy free and they made sure ( a bunch of times ) that everything had no dairy for us.So glad they came to Brentwood!
