Tavern Tomoko & Ladyface Brewery in Agoura Hills

Great food and service, at first, we thought that the mix of Mexican and Asian was strange, but it makes total sense after being there. We had a very good time and the ambience is wonderful, the staff is friendly and efficient and the food was delicious and fresh. They have happy hour, promotions, and a great vibe.

Great atmosphere inside and out. Beers were fantastic and the food delish. We sat outside on a Sunday afternoon with our dogs. The staff were nice and attentive.

Great Happy Hours place for a quick escape from a dull summer hot day, Great API and Japanese beers selection, and a musically infused patio playing 80s and 90s music. If you are a nature lover, you might find Bluejay birds flying around.

Stopped by Saturday afternoon, server was prompt friendly and knowledgeable. My g/f had the tacos which were amazing and fresh, I ordered the Korean BBQ nachos and they were amazing, chips were crunchy and the meat was flavorful! Perfect portion to make me full without over doing it. The old fashion the server suggested was spot on! Ill be stopping again.

It was ok but Im honestly never going their again. I didnt really care for most of the beers I tried. The food was actually pretty good though! But I went for the vibe that I was expecting to be there, and it was not. Plus a big party had gotten there before me and was talking up the entire outside section as well as most of the staffs attention

We stopped in for dinner while visiting the area for a wedding. The staff was very nice and seated us very quickly. We had a few of the drinks that were good and refreshing. The Ladyface IPA was my favorite. Our party had a few of the starters and for dinner we had several Tomoko burgers and Fish and chips. The food had plenty of flavor and cooked to perfection. We enjoyed our meals and will stop in on our next visit to the area.

The place offers a great outdoor experience (especially if you visit during live music night), food is prepared well and prices are affordable. We loved their kids menu. They seem to have a problem on the management side. We made a mistake of sitting ourselves outside and joined another party at a big table for 6 (we asked and the couple did not mind). After being ignored for 10 min I walked inside and talked to the hostess (who had an attitude...maybe wasnt having the best day). Anyhow long story short, they would rather lose the party of 4 (us) than split the check.Psst, management, your rule of 1 check per table seems like a very bad idea that will potentially take you out of business.We almost walked away as after the waitress who had that table and verified we were NOT with the other people, still ignored us.We then were accused of walking away from our table without paying (your lovely hostess in action again)...at that point my husband was very upset but the night was young and the music was great (thank you Revelry Country) so I persuaded him we stayed and tried anyways. We asked for a table in the beer garden (the hostess came to her senses and was nice this time). And thats how we salvaged the evening and enjoyed your great food Tavern Tomoko!

Everything we ordered on the menu was good! The skewer bowls and burgers were especially delicious. Service was decent, sometimes took a while to get ahold of our waiter but they were pretty busy so it was not a big problem. Inside is busy, slightly loud especially near the bar and outside was quieter, but the sun is right in your eyes at certain tables in the evening. Overall enjoyed our experience here and would come again!

This place has a cool vibe and extensive menu. The beer is cold and the food was good. I went on a week night and it wasn’t busy. There is plenty of parking and patio sitting.
