My first time here and the welcome I got is warm and friendly as if we knew each other for years. I was recommended the #3 and I have no regrets. Italian sandwich served toasted with the freshest ingredients. Very flavorful with a side salad. Btw macaroni salad was delish too. Highly recommended if your looking for a great sandwich shop.

The Eggplant Parmesan sandwich was pretty good, the sourdough bread was fresh and came straight from the Boudin Bakery. The prices were fantastic and the staff were friendly. The service was quick as well. We would go back.

Chill, local-style deli with extremely good sandwiches. I ordered a toasted Italiano. Hella tasty, and the veggies were still perfectly crisp after the drive home. Think I demolished it in under 10 minutes. 10/10 will come again when Im in the area.

What a nice break in a hectic day!Walked over between appointments and had the eggplant parmeggiano sandwich and the hummus sandwich, with coffee. Both were amazing! The owner walked over to chat (we beat the lunch crowd) and told us the family history of the eggplant sandwich.The hummus was fresh and mildly spiced, and very, very good.When we left, we felt like family. We’ll definitely go back!

I had a vegan hummus sandwich here and it was fabulous! The bread is from Fishermans Wharf in San Francisco and the olive oil is local and fresh. They mentioned that they try to get fresh local ingredients wherever possible.They also gave me a sample of the vegan potato salad which was equally delicious.Its a nice bright atmosphere and they even offer plugs if you need to charge up your computer or phone.In addition, everyone was friendly and accommodating to all the customers.Next time Im in the area, Ill definitely be back!

I came in for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. I had the Californian on wheat roll and it was nicely toasted. The bread was toasted and had a nice crunch and the rest of the ingredients tasted super fresh. I also had a lovely chat with the man working the register. Would happily come back to support this business

Fantastic hot sandwiches! The dutch crunch is fantastic and perfectly toasted. The meat and sandwich toppings were pretty good, tho I wish there was a bit more meat. Also, a garlic aioli spread would really elevate some of their sandwiches to the next level. Regardless, I highly recommend this place!

The father son team is great. Ordered food was made fresh! Food was fantastic, will diffinetly go back. They have all kinds of sandwiches, soups, chips and ice cream. Yummy. Walked there while waiting for new tires to be put on at American Tire. Everyone we spoke with at restaurant couldnt say enough good things about Taza Deli.

Delicious sandwiches and soup! The owner and staff are all very friendly, clearly many regulars. Well be back to try more from the menu. Kid friendly, many vegetarian options available. Parking although limited is definitely worth it.

The reviews seem really strong so I wanted to try this place but I was pretty disappointed. It was kind of a dumpster fire. Everyone was whining and fighting behind the counter, wrong orders were going out, the food took forever and was cold when I finally got it. They were friendly to customers but they seemed like they hated each other. The vibes were weird. Would try the place again but reluctantly.

Great sandwich, kind staff, and reasonable prices. Ill be coming here when I want a sandwich from now on, and I recommend that you do the same. :)They offer gelato as well, which I havent had a chance to try.

Siri suggested Taza Deli, and for the first time, I didn’t argue. Thank Goodness! I had an Al Pacino Sandwich, Pastrami and Turkey with the Works on sliced sourdough bread.Service was friendly and helpful, and the ice cream (a private small maker in SF) was great, too.

I ordered their hummus and found out that its a real pearl of the place because its a homemade old fashioned hummus. For dessert I had affogato- yum! Place is small or cozy, owner and workers are very nice and welcoming, food is delicious
