2023-10-14 16:24:49My coworkers and I ate here because the place a couple doors down was closing. The parking lot is terrible during busy hours from all the different businesses surrounding. When we walked in there was a good amount of people dining in and the first thing I noticed is the amount of food leftover on their plates or on tables waiting to be bussed. We waited for about 10 minutes until someone decided to take our order. The lady got our drink orders wrong and had much attitude when we asked for the correct drink. The food comes out very quickly which was great. The food has great flavor and is verrrrrry salty which took away from enjoying the flavor. The “crispy tofu” was soggy and very oily. The milk teas did not taste like your average milk tea and I can’t even think how to describe the taste. This place was very disappointing and to make things worse, we began to watch sanitary practices and the same lady that took our order was cleaning tables. She did not once change her gloves in between taking orders, serving food, or bussing tables. So the dirty dishes she was touching to the dirty towel she was using to wipe the tables then proceeding to touch the inside of the to go boxes she was grabbing was concerning. We arrived a little less than 2 hours before closing which meant there was no more boba. 😭 There’s no egg pudding either, which is a double whammy. My original milk tea wasn’t smooth as expected and tasted nothing like milk tea.

2023-11-20 09:14:08Tealicious in Sacramento is an absolute gem, and I cant help but gush about the fantastic experience I had there. Brian and Lily, the dynamic duo behind the scenes, have truly created a haven for the community. Their management skills shine through in the seamless operation of this delightful establishment. Now, lets talk about the star of the show—the Thai iced tea. Its a symphony of authenticity and flavor that dances on your taste buds. Sipping on it feels like a mini-vacation to Thailand itself. The richness and freshness in every gulp are a testament to the quality they uphold. The prices at Tealicious are not only reasonable but also a steal considering the burst of flavor in every cup. Its a place where you not only pay for your drink but also for the experience and the dedication that goes into crafting each beverage.Service is lightning-quick, and the friendliness of the staff adds an extra layer of warmth to your visit. Its like theyre serving happiness in every cup, and they do it with a smile. The location is a dream—convenient with ample parking, making your tea rendezvous hassle-free.And oh, lets not forget the desserts! The lemon cake is, without a doubt, a slice of heaven on a plate. Each bite is a journey to cloud nine, and youll find yourself daydreaming about it long after youve left. The ambiance is the cherry on top—a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer, sip a little slower, and soak in the Tealicious charm.Im already counting down the days until my next visit. If only there were more Tealicious locations, the world would be an even better place. Kudos to Brian and Lily for creating such a delightful haven in Sacramento! Tealicious is, without a doubt, my go-to spot for a tea-rific time!

2022-07-19 04:31:42This restaurant is a low key gem for Hong-kong Cafe vibes. Though it is small, and parking lot a little hard to access, the food and service is great. The combos with empress chicken and roasted duck were delicious, flavorful, wonderfully salty, and tender. It is so hard to find a place that does not serve dry roasted duck. I liked that the rice plate combo came with plenty of vegetables and sauce drizzled on the rice. I tried the char siu and it was one of the best Ive had, not dry, nicely marinated. The appetizer of spicy pig ear was large in portion and so savory. Prices are fair, and you can get a combo with 2 types of proteins. They offer boba and other drinks. The restaurant is small but clean, nice decoration. The waitress was really nice even when they are busy. They even gave us a slice of watermelon after our meal!

2021-05-31 16:40:50Authentic Cantonese food and affordable price. The food is made to order so it tastes fresh. I especially like the wonton. You can find an entire shrimp inside. The BBQ items are very good as well but if you go too late, their most popular items would be sold out. The drinks are great as well. The only minor comment I have is that the smoothie and lemon tea are a bit too sweet. I forgot to ask if you could adjust the sugar level.

2023-08-30 04:33:26Came here after 1 pm because my children 6 & 8 y/o loves the BBQ duck in which its the signature dish of this restaurant. It took about 3 minutes to be seated. We already knew what we wanted to order before sitting which was 2 entree rice dish (BBQ duck & crispy pork). Weve been here multiple times before because of the food. Once we sat down, the waitress rushed off. The restaurant was about 80% full with 2 empty tables. After 10 minutes of sitting, I waved at 1 of 3 waitresses who acknowledged but basically gave the give me a minute signal. A couple was then seated at the window corner. Keep in mind, neither my kids nor I received even water after 15 minutes of waiting. My daughter kept saying, are they coming to take our order? Do you want me to grab a waitress?. Another 5 minutes passed and the couple received their specialty drinks. I hailed down the waitress who had delivered the drinks and told her that I was ready to order, but she took off basically signalling not now. I would have left, but my daughter begged me to stay because she really wanted the BBQ duck. We sat for another 10 minutes while my kids were complaining about how thirsty & hungry they were. Then the couple in the corner received their lunch plates. The waitress then went to the other window table where an older couple was, to ask if they needed anything. That family was nice enough to tell the waitress that we were waiting for a long time and needed to be served. Finally the waitress came to us (30 minutes since being sat down), asked our order. I asked why was the couple who sat down after us was served their drinks and meal, yet our order wasnt even taken. She apologized and said that she forgot about us.I ordered the BBQ duck and to our dismay, she said they just ran out and it would take another 20 minutes. So basically, the people before us got our duck. I just had it! I have 2 kids, both telling me nonstop how hungry and thirsty they are and I have to wait another 20 minutes for the duck? I got up, grabbed my crying kids in toll to the nearest fast food restaurant (Burger King) and fed them within 5 minutes. Ive been here like 8 times and the food here is great, but the service is terrible. This time it was the worst. All the times Ive been there, you have to bring the bill up and pay it or its like a 15 minute wait after youre done. The waitresses are not really organized, almost like who can take whatever customer and no assigned area/tables or at least they dont seem to show whos in charge of what. Ive never been so disappointed in a restaurant as this place. It hits harder when a place makes your kids cry. Its like going to Disneyland, waiting all day in line to meet the princess, just to be told, come back tomorrow. To kids, each passing minute is like 10 minutes to an adult.Service has gone downhill.

2022-01-29 06:04:34Was on the hunt for some boba, and came across this place after placing an order for dinner nearby. The menu seems pretty extensive, and they also have food which caught my eye.I ended up getting this strawberry matcha latte which was actually pretty good. There was chunks of strawberry and the matcha flavor was pretty decent. We got an order of the biang biang noodles and the fried tofu. The tofu was fried nicely, although the seasoning did not hit all of the tofu pieces. I thought the biang biang noodles would be thicker, but the noodles were pretty delicious. They were just the right amount of spicy and chewy. They also seem to have a ton of other food items and I saw that many people after us were just ordering food and not boba. Will probably have to check out their other food items sometime in the near future. The shop is pretty spacious, and very cute inside.
