Full bar, beers, and vegan food. What else can you ask for?It also has a patio outside.Their menu is amazing, they have a vegan impossible burger, grilled cheeses, and also some vegan appetizers.They DONT SERVE FRIES. No biggie, they give chips — but if you’re really craving some fries, then go somewhere else.

I go here as much as possible. Great beer selection and the sandwiches are delicious. I particularly like the tuna melt and the burgers. They also have cocktails in the back bar. I also love the vibe it’s just a really great place to relax and spend time with friends.

Pretty empty spot for lunch but I bet its a dope apot when buzzing. I got the 2fat2skate burger and it was incredible! Such an amazing flavor profile. $5 craft veer specials are dope too. Counter service & you bus your own table so service isnt really applicable although the girl taking the order was nice and talkative. 110% if Im ever back in Oakland Ill be here.

This place has great tasting burgers. It isnt your boring menu, but whats mainstream, with a twist. Bacon, and macaroni & cheese on a burger! Kim Chi too! Who woulda thought? I got the telegraph burger w/cheddar and it was great. The only unfortunate part i think was it seemed a bit slow. I think it was just one person at the grill.Anyhow, they have a full bar on the premises in the back. The place has an indoor area as well as outdoor area. I recommend the outdoor for the fresh air. Half of the outdoor area is covered. If you go during the noon hours, you might find yourself looking for relief from the sun.

My favorite spot for beer in Oakland. Rotating local brews in a wide variety of styles, good can selection, and the staff are all super sweet. Everything on the menu is tasty. Plus, the bathrooms are always clean.

Pretty cool place overall but the bug problem is excessive. I realize it is an indoor outdoor venue and some bugs are to be expected but they are flying around in the hundreds. There are outdoor traps and things that can be used to mitigate it. There are just as many inside as there are out so there is no escape to enjoy your food. Better free up one hand to swat while you scarf it down.

I hesitate to post this as this is one of our favorite places to go for a beer and a burger and it is pretty small. We’ve gone during the day, during the week at night and on a First Friday. If you like to hang out in a place filled with graffiti covered walls and tables and beside tattooed, pierced and skate boarding people who listen to eclectic music drinking an ever changing selection of draft beers, this is the place for you. Last time I was there, I complimented the cook on the burger and he told me he’s never tasted it as he’s a vegetarian. That is the kind of place it is.On a crime note, we take BART or Uber/Lyft to downtown Oakland. Car break ins are so common especially at night when there is a show at the Paramount or Fox that you don’t want to risk the aggravation and hassle of dealing with broken windows.

This is one of our favorite lunch spots and after work happy hour joints. The manager, Jason is a master BBQer and if you ever see a social media post that they will be BBQing, be sure to rush down there before it runs out. Burgers are off the chain, and there are non-meat versions available. The full bar and beer selection coupled with the large our door patio (with heaters available on cold days) make it one of my favorite local spots!

Beeryland is an Oakland gem. It has a delightfully grungy vibe with great food and greyhound slushies that are perfect on a hot day. This summer we hosted a party with them, and Cheyenne was awesome to work with. They have a fun photo booth in the back too :)

Love this place. Such an awesome vibe. Solid beer menu and delicious burgers. Love the Kono burger, its my go to and their pickles are delicious. If you youre having a rough day - grab a pint, eat a burger and finish it off with one of their Mangonadas - youll feel better after that for sure!

One of the best burgers in the bay!My lady and I have been going here for years, and its always a great time!Local and international street artists line the walls and patio of this 60/40 outside-inside beer garden. Sticker slaps plastered on all the remaining open spaces, add that much more character.Beers on tap are always rotating. Local and other, theres sure to be something for everyone. Also check out the refrigerator which have rotating cans and bottles of various sizes.Back bar has more liquor options, even with the occasional boozy Smoothie 😜Now lets get to the burger... They have plenty of sandwich options, but time and time again, the regular telegraph burger is the winner in my eyes. I add cheese since it doesnt come with, and Im golden. If you dont like your burger medium, definitely speak up. They come out perfectly warm in the center, and juicy as hell. Its one of those burgers that once you pick it up and get going, you really dont put it down again till youre finished. They come with potato chips instead of fries, which is a nice switch up from the norm. Before covid, the chips were better (IMO), theyve now switched up to bags, which comes with the times.*Pro Tip- Open your bag of chips and spread them out on your tray. Its kind of a place that serves a lot of Oakland type weirdos that are actually just normal people in different manners of outward expressions via fasion costumes. Anyways, its chill. The chopped cheese is my personal fav. Food is good, but it definitely feels heavy after eating. On multiple occasions I got the sense that the bar tenders are annoyed by particular drink orders. Atmosphere overall is great, except Im personally not a fan of screamo music that they tend to play on a regular basis, however, it doesnt stop me from going. Its a great place to chill with friends.

I dont eat burgers much in the past decade but ever so often I indulge and I have to say this was one of the best pure tasting burgers Ive had in that period of time. I keep it rather simple without too many sauces and condiments to confuse the true taste so Im not giving credit for any smoke mirrors enhancements that some joints do to enable them to charge alot while masking average at best quality.

Its just alright. We both had the 5150 burger which was decent, but the buns tasted stale and cheap from the grocery store.Biggest let down is they dont have a fryer, so no fries/onion rings/tots. They serve bags of chips with the burger, but you dont get to choose what kind. The 5150 came with sour cream and onion.The space itself is really cool, but the food was mediocre.

These burgers will always have a special place in my heart. The burgers are a step down from the best Ive ever had (which is really good), but the overall experience is always 5 stars. Excellent rotating beers on tap.Pro tip: dont get the mac & cheese on your burger. It seems like their tastes cancel each other out. Do get the mac & cheese on the side, its fantastic.

This place is incredible! I love the staff, they are always so nice and seem to be happy working there. I got a delicious burger, the Terp Ranger, which has a 5150 patty (half bacon, half ground beef) and a grilled square of Mac n cheese on top of it. It also has pulled pork, but they are currently not serving pulled pork as a result of COVID supply issues, so I got a Terp Ranger without the pulled pork. Outdoor patio has dope local street art. There is also a full bar outside. All-in-all a great scene!

Beery-land is great. Staff is so cool and chill, good burgers. Outdoor and indoor seating. Looks just like a dive and it is, I guess, just a dive with good beer and some good eats to go with it. Usually there are a few chill dogs hanging out at the picnic tables. Ride your bike on the Telegraph bike lane and park outside at the bike corral.The burger comes with potato chips, they dont have fries. They have a large selection of draft beer and there is a full bar in the back.

We were very excited to eat here, as we have heard great things about their burgers, but the entire experience was horrid. The burgers were extremely under cooked even though we ordered them to be cooked to medium. We also ordered a side of Mac n cheese which had no redeeming factors. A hip location with good drink options and great food. I had the pulled pork sandwich and a few beers there. A majority of seats are outside and uncovered, though there are some in a shaded area. Fortunately i went on a cool, sunny day. The environment there is very young and hip with modern rock, some rap, and indie music. Ill definitely be back!

Nice enough beer garden with SD picnic tables. QR code ordering, and the food and drinks come quickly. Not a great place for conversation because the music was really loud and there was no place to hide from it. I first came across the beer garden over a year ago. I live right down the street and went in for a burger. From the very beginning I have been treated rudely. Now I am a white cis male over 60. So right away I know that the rudeness is based on stereotypes that are being projected. None the less I order food and enjoy it. Over the year and a half i have eaten there dozens of times. I even went with my daughter and she witnessed the rudeness I was treated with. The food is good. I wont say otherwise. Though they refuse to cook the burgers beyond medium rare. I ask every time for it to be cooked medium and it always comes medium rare or worse. I have always been a big tipper. I tip decently here even though i am treated rudely. I have decided though that eating at a place that has so much hate in it isnt worth the good food. If you are young, edgy and angry this is the place for you. But If you are a white male over 60, regardless of how progressive you may be, you might want to steer clear. I know that after tonight I will never eat there again.

Telegraph is such a great local beer garden. Their food is amazing! Their veggie burger and veggie sausage options are sooooooo good! Also their green bean sandwich is weirdly delicious (weirdly because it is served cold and I expected warm) but sooooo good! They have a full bar. Their Paloma and Greyhound slushies are super delicious and boozy. The outdoor seating is the best so do that. They have heaters and covering if it is cold or wet. They have 2 non-gendered bathrooms (the front bathroom door SLIDES). The staff are super helpful and friendly and prefer non-gendered pronouns as well. Telegraph is pretty much a summary of what I love Oakland.

This is a really great beer garden to hang with a group of friends or to meet people. The outdoor space is full of picnic tables so it is definitely conducive to meeting new people.The outside also has a sweet mural on the wall. There is a bar inside and outside. They also have food! The inside is small so I prefer sitting outside. One part of their outside is covered so if the weather isnt nice you can still be out there.

Our co-ed softball team met there for the beginning of the season get together. It is clean and has picnic tables, 1/2 of patio is covered. You order as you come in the door with the taps of creatively named beers at the front as well. There is a full bar in the back left of the patio. Food was great and loved their kettle chips. I had the BLT which was tasty as hell. The bacon was thick and a good sized BLT. Will ne back. Moderately priced.

Places like Telegraph are the reason Oakland has such a vibrant energy. Great hangout spot with limited beer selections and a variety of Grill food like burgers and fries. 4.5 really. All is good. They have expanded their menu choices and are not focused on sausages anymore. Good and bad. Bad, because some of the sausages were just outstanding, good because somtimes you want a burger of some other grilled entre.So everything is still good. Ingredients are flavorful, vegetables are fresh, sides are punchy and mouth-awakening, and, even though the tap beer selection is limited to three choices, they are always good choices. Telegraph is just the ticket for an balmy evening beer-garden experience. Its funky and casual like Zeitgeist, but more food focused.And you can hang out with J. Otto Siebold, illustrator and author of childrens books like Olive, the Other Reindeer. He has a small kiosk on the patio where you can pick up a last-minute book for some toddler friend, and if you time it right, hell even inscribe it for you. He should have a nice juicy sausage named after him, just because.

I used to come drink here with my friends all the time before Covid. Drink away at the patio. I stayed due to covid. I finally came back tonight, and wanted one drink on the patio around 7pm. I walked in the patio and it looked over full, and the door host shows up 30 seconds later to tell me its full. I say thats fine, I just want a drink I will wait. He says sure, you will be next up. Great I responded. He said I could even order a beer next door and drink right there, before my table. opens up. Yes, sounds like a plan i said, I was excited. So i wait about 5 minutes for a beer to go, which never took place, and more people start showing up. The host starts showing people to tables. I told the guy, from a distance, keeping it covid safe, hey I have been here before any of these people, he ignored me. He tables three people, and when he comes back I then I ask why I was ignored, I was next up in line. He then goes oh you want to be on the list? you want a drink? I said yes, what was our whole discussion for, and on what basis did you allow those three people to cut me. He had no response and it appeared to be a clear treating certain people with elite conditions verse treating people like second class citizen on the other. And then I told him I waited for five minutes for a beer to go which also never took place. He did care. It created such a bad energy, it made me not want to drink at this location. Thats bad customer service. Treat humans like humans.
