Temple Garden in Citrus Heights

I have had the opportunity to meet with family and friends there for two weeks in a row. The food and service have been wonderful. Healthy portions and fun to order a variety of dishes and all share.

The food was good. I would definitely come back if it were just for the food. A bit expensive. However, I was served a beer that was completely warm and seemed like it never touched the inside of a fridge. Also, the woman working at the front took a customers order over speaker phone and I could hear his card number, expiration date, and security code. Not cool.

While looking for a great dine-in Chinese food restaurant for our anniversary We happened to luck upon the Temple Garden restaurant. We got there at 5:00 p.m. and had a delicious dinner of Shrimp Egg Foo Young, which I normally dont favor. But this foo young changed my opinion forever! First, it was almost 2 inches thick. And stuffed with shrimp, eggs, bean sprouts, onions and flavors so savory, that the Temple House Oyster sauce on top had me coming back for seconds. And the most wonderful Honey Glazed Pork Spare Ribs Ive ever had! They were so tender and glazed in just enough honey to not be too sweet. With sliced, roasted garlic slivers sprinkled on top. Their House fried Rice is awesome also, mixed with chicken, beef, pork and much more. The portions fed us completely with enough take-away for a great lunch the next day. We cant wait to go back!

I brought a friend here today. I drove by this place and decided to try it.This place is in the same area as Food Maxx.The staff is very friendly and responsive. The place was clean and cozy.I got the general Chao lunch special with fried rice for 6.99...He got the steak chow mein and sweet and sour prawns which he loved.The general chicken was fresh and delicious. I really enjoyed it.He said he really loved his food. God willing...I would be back for sure.If you check into yelp they give you 4 free egg rolls.

Wow let’s say this I went there twice this week. I ordered the chicken chow mein and I got sick both times. It taste good for me to come back the second time because I thought I got sick off something else. Nope it was definitely here which I could not understand cuz the food was ok tasting smh. Now today I am a frequent flyer to the bathroom never again all that taste good definitely ain’t good

Ordered online, ready in under 10 minutes before I even got there. Orange chicken rice plate is good, love mixing the orange sauce with the rice. The interior looks recently redone and looks nice.

It was absolutely delicious. The Walnut prawns were insanely good. Fried shrimp was breaded perfectly. Kung Pao beef was on point. Im usually critical of Chinese restaurants too but this place was a great find. I ordered delivery, the #2 family deal for two $31-32. Had good sized portions

Hadnt been there for a few months, back before they remodeled, but the food was terrific as ever. My go to place for quick delicious chinese food.

Awful. $3 up charge for fried rice on my combo order?? Another $3 up charge because it was “lemon chicken?” Another $3 up charge for an egg roll? That’s ok, but $3? Come on now. Don’t visit here guys. They suck. Check out Chopsticks (sunrise/Cirby). They are awesome and don’t take a 10.95 meal and make it $22.03.

This is my go-to place for Chinese food: quality ingredients, fresh veggies, house-made sauces, delicious food and excellent service! They also offer low cost delivery. Love it!
