2023-10-04 03:50:56Came for late night dinner about an hour before closing, service was fast and prompt. The atmosphere is relaxed and the sushi chefs are very friendly.Food was outstanding ordered 5 different rolls and each one packed with flavor and each dish was presented in a very attractive way. Will definitely recommend to all guests, and can be expected to come back.

2023-09-23 11:16:461st time here, I live right around the corner and never knew about this place. Most definitely glad we stumbled in here. Sushi was very good, we got seated & greeted right away as soon as we came in. Services was outstanding. Only bad thing I would say is its not all you can eat. I most definitely recommend this sushi spot if you are in the area.

2022-12-14 04:52:10I live in Portland, and while the sushi scene probably isn’t as hot as the LA area, I was pleasantly surprised that this tiny, random spot in a strip mall near my hotel blew every place in Portland out of the water. Got a sashimi sampler, sizzling white roll, and rock’n’roll, and they were all phenomenal. Not only was everything super flavorful, fresh, and unique, but the presentation was something you’d expect at a much fancier spot. Highly, highly recommended!

2023-02-04 20:53:13Visited Tera Sushi for the first time last night (a Friday night). Heard a lotta hype on the internet about it and reviews are great so Mom and I gave a it a chance. The presentation seems to be their focus. The food all looks good, simultaneously seems rushed or thrown together rather than intentional and thoughtful. The rolls were unstable, they’d kinda fall apart on the journey from plate to mouth. Fresh tasting. The Heart Attack was decent, a lil too much tuna I’d argue, and the jalapeño had no heat so it’s was just a mouthful of warm tuna and cream cheese. Not awful tho.The Tuna Tartare was in a sweet ginger sesame sauce that felt a bit overpowering, but yummy nonetheless. Seems to be a sauce focused establishment. The lemons on the Lemon Roll were mostly rind and less fruit flesh than I typically enjoy. the spicy tuna was really packed into the roll, sort of exploding out the sides too. haphazardly constructed. The Thai Coconut Shrimp roll was pretty good, but too much of the “peanut sauce” felt and tasted more like straight peanut butter and it totally overpowered the roll, each piece my mouth was coated with Peanut Butter and i felt like a dog.Mom also got Garlic Edamame but there was too much garlic on it she did not enjoy, especially as the garlic wasn’t fresh or clean but felt smothered on and fat heavy.Mochi was good, wish they cut the pieces better, they were all clumped together.Hot sake was good.Tera seems to have a lot of creativity and potential, glad Corona can have multiple good sushi restaurants. I offer my critical reading for improvement because the overall experience was good and the food has good flavor just a little mild or “watered down” metaphorically. Pricey for what’s offered.Would visit Tera again if invited by a friend (:They also use a gray sauce on a number of their dishes that’s very mild but slightly sweet, what is the sauce? i have no clue, kinda mayonnaisy?

2023-04-17 04:18:07I love their thick sashimis and fresh wasabi! Super good! Eel bowl was delicious too. Their food are different with other Japanese restaurants. I think the chef has his own idea about food.
