Decent Teriyaki spot that makes for a good quick, quick lunch if youre in the area.ITEMS ORDERED:Beef & Chicken Plate (brown rice, white meat)&Chinese Chicken SaladOne win here is they do not upcharge for brown rice or choosing to to get all white meat chicken.TASTE:All these teriyaki places are quite similar. Its just really how good their sauce is & how well they cook their proteins are major factors.Sauce here is not the best teriyaki sauce Ive had, little too sweet for me here, but adding in some chili paste fixed that & brought the flavor together much better. I would say both the beef & chicken were just a little too try. Nothing so bad though & in argument of the chicken, it was white meat.The rice was not overcooked or mushy which is good. I really enjoyed the fresh cucumber side. Its a little pickled (sutble sweetness & just a little tart).The salad is a little too basic but overall tastes good. It needs to at least have carrots in it. Its really just some shredded chicken breast, romaine lettuce & fried wontons. The dressing kind of reminds me of that sesame dressing that many people seem to purchase at Costco, but more tart, which I like.SERVICE, LOCATION & PARKINGThis was a pickup order through Doordash so I did have minimal interaction with staff. But the lady who have me my order did seem very nice.They are located on Lake Ave, but youll want to turn onto Locust St, where they have a small parking lot in the back. Youll see their sidewalk sign pointing you where to go.Im open to grabbing a quick meal again if Im craving teriyaki.

Best Chicken Salad I’ve had in a while. I ordered for take out and it was serve in a timely matter and super fresh. I have also tried their teriyaki bowl and it’s good. Glad this spot is close to work. I’ll be back for sure. Thank you.

Their Chinese chicken salad is the best Ive ever tasted. They give you alot too. The dressing and the fried wontons on top are addicting. One time they put them in a brown paper bag on the side for me. They were so warm and delicious. Tasted something like those fried noodles they give you at Chinese food restaurants. I could eat this almost everyday (that is as long as Im not craving fatty food 😀). The seasoned spinach is bomb also!

Edit: Ive revisited a few times and had much better experiences.The service I had the first time was very slow, but its been prompt ever since and also very friendly.The chicken and beef bowls have all been good, and I havent been disappointed with soggy rice since that first review.The restroom still seriously needs a deep cleaning. IMO the restroom is a good indicator of how clean/dirty the rest of the restaurant is.

Their Korean BBQ bowl with garlic noodles is a religious experience. For $12 you can absolutely stuff yourself on pure calories. I lather it in teriyaki sauce to further my crimes against God. Then I leave some brown rice in to clear my conscience. Its well worth it.Empty your stomach and clear your arteries, because this place is clean, friendly, and dangerously tasty.

The food is really tasty and fresh. I love the sesame chicken salad. Plus there are several great sides to choose from. I always get an order of spicy cucumbers, but I do like getting a side of bean sprouts to add to the salad.

Good place for a quick lunch. I always get the chicken teriyaki bowl with rice and noodles. Service is great! I am always greeted by this one lady that seems to be there every day after the lunch hour. She is nice. The space is clean.

Parking is less than desirable and very crowded. I believe a location closer to Hastings Ranch would work better, just my opinion as I live over there. Food is always very good, as others have said the chicken salad is amazing.

Hands down the best teriyaki I have tasted and I have frequented lots of establishments for teriyaki chicken in both LA and Hawaii. Juicy tender, perfectly sweetened (not overly like other places) and side dishes are perfect accompanied. Brown rice option is nice for me, and makes the meal also healthy. Highly recommended for a quick bite, or take home for the family for dinner.

I stopped here for the first time today. The food was fine, and the staff is very nice. I could have rated this place at up to four stars, but...Teri & Yaki uses an OFFENSIVE amount of single-use plastic, even when ordering to dine-in.I cant imagine how many whales would be killed by the plastic waste output of this location alone in a year, let alone a week.

Teri and Yaki is a quaint little hole in the wall where you can get some great teriyaki noodles. The premium on the beef is worth it. I also highly recommend the garlic noodles.

I am a picky person when it comes to food.. now for me being a picky person with what I eat was a surprise to me.🤣 I actually loved the chicken teriyaki bowl. It was so delicious that I had to send a picture to my friends to show them what what I was eating and on top of that I brought a friend here to let her try it and she fell in love with it. She wants to eat it for lunch the next time we come in. Hahaha! I like Teri and Yaki. The parking is nuts, but it is there and it is Pasadena so there you go.I like it because I can spend $30 and feed my three starving teenagers and myself with a fairly healthy meal and they are all happy. Im referring to the family meal which includes noodles (big hit with kids) lots of chicken and rice, and a tasty chinese chicken salad for me. The sides are a little odd, unless you like cold pickled veggies (I do, kids dont). Mom gets healthy salad and veggies kids get carbfest.I like it because I can count on the chicken bowls always being the same--decent veggies, crispy-ish meat without weird bits, and decent portions for a good price.I go there regularly when I have grumpy kids and it always cheers them up.
