Stopped here for lunch, and I was pleasantly surprised! I got a Spicy Teriyaki Bowl and it was delicious. The price was also quite reasonable. Looking at the menu Im excited to try one of there sandwiches! One last note, Cash Only!

This is when 5 stars just doesn’t quite cut it. I tried the spicy chicken teriyaki bowl and it was exceptional. Tied for the best teriyaki I’ve ever had. That sauce is pure magic! You can tell the owner goes out of his way to keep the prices low, so don’t expect anything fancy, just the best teriyaki you’ll ever have!

We used to go to a place called Eds Gourmet (Union and Curtner, then moved over by Santa Clara U) and missed going when it went out of business. I was looking for a good teriyaki place on the web and found out through reviews this is the new Eds Gourmet which took me three years later after it opened on Monterey Highway. Great food as always, although the portions are a little smaller and the coleslaw isnt served with the chicken bowl anymore (miss that). GO GIVE IT TRY if you are the mood for some good teriyaki bowls.

Ran by a very nice guy, they were out of rice and he recommended the cheesesteak. It was one of the best teriyaki anything Ive ever had.

The teri cheese steak is amazing, I went here to eat after school back in high school. Great portion for the money, a perfect sandwich for a special days lunch. The owner is really chill. The only con is the surrounding location

They use to be located in Santa Clara off Lafayette. Best teriyaki sauce in town - hands down. When Im craving a warm meal, this restaurant is always an option for me. I would drive across town to come here. 5 stars

This place is the real deal: no-nonsense, quality teriyaki, not upscale or an afterthought to sushi. Teriyaki bowls, sandwiches, and burgers. No sushi. No stir fry.We ordered take-out at the counter. Parking is easy. The strip mall location is a little run down but clean. The hand-lettered menu is quaint. The guy who took our order and cooked our food was super friendly. I felt completely at home.We got the chicken bowl and beef bowl, not spicy. Protein was perfect. Chicken thigh tender and well trimmed, no hunks of gristle or fat. Beef was sliced sukiyaki-thin and tasty. Good proportion of protein to rice. Rice was perfect. Broccoli and carrot slices were nicely al dente. Even the presentation was tidy.The teriyaki sauce was surprisingly complex, not just your usual sugar & salt bomb.Prices are really good considering the quantity and quality of food.I cant wait to go back.

Decent meat and sauce. Chicken is probably better than beef here. The teriyaki is interesting and the rice is ok though not super complementary. Small comfortable space that is generally not too busy.

First it was Eds Gourmet on Curtner and Union. Then Eds Teriyaki in Santa Clara on Lafayette... both places closed and with the help of yelp...I have found you again! I have no problem driving 30mins to grab a teriyaki cheesesteak or amazing rice plate. Just give it a taste and youll find out why :) Just make sure to bring your cash or ATM card.

Probably came during a down time, the food wasnt anything great. Chicken teriyaki turned out over cooked, dry, and the sauce was pretty meh. Ill give this place another try another time.
