Teriyaki House in Fairfield

It’s been a while since I’ve been to this restaurant. My mother and I used to always go here years ago! I decided to check this place out again, and it was just as good (if not better) than I remembered! The owner ALWAYS had the biggest smile and still does! I believe her son/grandson now works there! Amazing food, and excellent service!!! Deserves 10 stars!

This place has good food. If you call ahead when you get there it is ready. I prefer here to the place with 🐼 in its name.

Got off work and had a craving for Asian food. I found this place by searching up local Asian restaurants. I never noticed this place before so I had to try it out. Its a basic hole in the wall restaurant, nothing flashy about it. Its COVID times at the time of this writing so I did appreciate the large hanging plastic cover dividing the kitchen area from the rest of the restaurant. Also, it was takeout only. The staff were nice and took my orders quickly. I was also very happy to see them cooking my meal upon ordering so I knew it would be hot and fresh.I ordered fried gyoza and shrimp tempura as appetizers and a deluxe combination plate with teriyaki beef, shrimp, and spicy chicken. A buddy of mine also ordered a plate of pork teriyaki. The gyoza and shrimp tempura were both very crispy. The tempura was good but I felt that the gyoza had much better flavor, especially when dipped in the accompanying sauce. It was sticky and sweet and just a hint of spice. My combo plate was good for the most part. The shrimp were on the smaller side and depended on the sweet and sticky teriyaki sauce for most of its flavor. The teriyaki beef tasted good but was a bit dry. The spicy chicken was really good. The crispy breading locked in the juiciness of the meat and the spicy sauce was savory and flavorful, not too spicy. My buddy really enjoyed the pork teriyaki and after tasting it, I felt it was the most flavorful of all the dishes.I had a craving for Asian food and I feel like this restaurant really satisfied that craving. It wasnt the most amazing Asian food Ive ever had but its filling and delicious. They cook the food upon ordering so its going to be fresh and their teriyaki sauce is really flavorful. I would come back again to satisfy cravings.

We stopped in to try this place out for lunch, we got the Bento Boxes, spicy chicken and sesame chicken. They where all good, but nothing special.

Great customer service and we were greeted at the front door!!! Our food was warm when we got it home..everything was good!

Fast friendly service even when busy. Food was delicious. Loved their teriyaki chicken. Spicy chicken & honey spicy chicken were good too. We will definitely be returning to try more of their menu.

Ordered the combo teriyaki with sesame chicken was so happy the food was delicious piping hot the way I like it and the rice was fresh. This place is a hidden gem the staff was friendly looked family run and it shows on the quality of the food. Everything was excellent if you have not been here I highly recommend.

Wasnt bad, just was not very good either. Got a lunch special and a order of some short ribs and the food was kinda meh. Pretty dry, and they barely gave any teriyaki sauce on the side. I asked for more teriyaki sauce at first and they gave one extra for my order of two plates. Food didnt taste bad, it just like I said originally didnt taste very good and was dry.

I enjoy their food. Big fan of the beef teriyaki and chicken teriyaki. They are a target simple meal with good flavor, at least concerning my family. Service is great and fast, I always get it to go. Typically I call it in first but this last time I just stopped in and ordered. Didnt take that long to get my order, ten minutes at most, and it was mostly made while I waited... I do believe the rice was pre prepared.
